get away from it even one day.... an hour? Only when im at work (which isnt much)

When im not here, i switch to youtube, when im not on youtube i switch to coinmarketcap, when im not on coinmarketcap i check my email, when im not in email i check my phone sometimes. Or facebook.

And then repeat that cycle...  :D      :-[  ::)


Ooh, ad reddit to that as well since recently..

and ofcourse being on exchanges. Or bitmex adventures.

Yes, always doing some trades, bounties, airdrops. Read and tweet some crypto news, do some more bounty tasks during reading.

If you finished one crypto-thing you check the next...could have changed in the meantime  ;D

when i was in other stuff like poker or chess. I could play that all week as well. BUT i ALLWAYS took 2 days of. 1 day just reading forums. And 1 day NOTHING about it at all. With this... i just cant get away from it. It fn consumes me bro haha. Its like there are two worlds. Its like i die if im not into crypto. lol.
The thing is im a sucker for temptation. So even if i build up discipline to NOT check on somethin the tempation starts to build up like a pressure cooker. Only to be released when i give in.. dont know what it is with that lol. I do enjoy it though. But ive been getting less healthy in food and excersise...  :-\

Maybe it's not the right thing to do, but sometimes you react like that when you first start in this business. When you understand how wide this crypto universe is, you realize that you can not cover everything and you will begin to prioritize some things and leave others behind. Everything is about organizing your times well and prioritizing some activities over others.

Yes I am obsessed to man! From the moment I wake up, all I think about is crypto, crypto, crypto! This is the future and I am just so glad to be a part of a revolution!

Maybe you are excited for now. We have all different approach in how we deal this cryptocurrency in our daily life. Relax and enjoy the other outdoor activities or make a cryptocurrency group in your local community.

I do check my blockfolio app at least 20 times a day. Try to read up on crypto everyday, but sometimes I just skip it.
Personally I do not think it's bad, because I have money invested and the technology is really new. Besides its good for personal development to learn about blockchain and crypto now, because in the future most jobs will depend on it.

Well, as long as you are happy it will be good. I also do the same routine as I want to make sure I am always up to date with the latest news about cryptocurrency. I also check for new  ICOs and find projects that is surely interesting. Try making a better routine that will make you gain more than you are right now. I think you should doing some relaxing after work routine then after that, spending an hour on news about cryptos would be good.

Because everything in crypto moves so fast, it's almost a necessity. I bet most people on here experience this :P

Bitcomo..  focus on converting ads. Pay per conversation not on just clicks (which dont do much most of the time..)

 

You are much better than me.I have almost become a crypto savvy.i have even quit my job and all the time,i used to read the latest updates happening in the crypto world as every thing is changing here rapidly since its now a roaring business.Some times,to just relax,i used to switch to facebook and very soon,i return to crypto websites and spend the rest of the time by trading and it has become a daily routine for me.

True. I would also add "checking announcements on bitcointalk.org" very frequently. My browsing pattern changed completely in last 1 year. But, on the hindsight, I am happy that I have reduced use of social platforms. At least I am doing something which keeps me informed and maybe help earn some bucks

Very common behavior for people who just got in to crypto. I was almost exactly like that when I first started out, also refreshing Blockfolio every like 5 minutes or so. As of now I'm definitely doing much better than I used to since instead of staring at the prices for hours end, I can now actually do something productive. It's going to take time to get used to though.  :P

I dont catch you. What you said you can not? If you said that you can not do real work or refreshing, i think i almost the same. But i have a little time to do alittle refreshing sometime. Life is not always about job mate.

Dude I can relate this isht is addictive. I am like that as well. I am obsessed. I have zero interest in anything that's not cryptocurrency. I am constantly reading news, checking the price, reading tweets, Facebook posts, watching YouTube. I am pretty sure in 5 years time shrinks will have a name for this. Hahahaha personally I don't think its a bad thing as I think we need to get as much information about cryptocurrency as we can..

Are you saying that you cannot leave your crypto trading? I suggest that you need to create topic with proper english so the people will understand what you wanna say.

If you said that you cannot leave you crypto trading,it is a best sign of a trader you need to do spend more time with your trading to analysis what is happening in the market and make decision according to that to make more profit.

Though I'm new here i couldn't get away with it too. Most of my time I spend it in reading about bitcoin, I could'nt watch in t.v coz  I am much enjoying in bitcoin. You know why? Coz asside from it entertain still it educated us in a way that we use our mind to think deeply and critically and as financially matters too. Im educated in a way that made me realize how precious time it is. Unlike before i used to spare my time in watching t.v even a non sense movie just to get away with my boredom, but now i made value my time in more important things. Though i spend much time in this i know that it has a value and that value is for our future, giving a chance to live life in a fullest.

Facebook, bitcointalk, coinmarketcap, my websites. That is my cycle at the moment, sometimes after coinmarketcap I take the road to poloniex too, but not very often.
For cypto, mostly its btctalk and coinmarketcap. Coinmarketcap once a day, bitcointalk about 10 times a day.

I was going to start off a reply with "dude" but you apparently beat me to it.  LOL

There's a lot of people who are now completely addicted to crypto, and we all know why that is.  It's because the price has skyrocketed from being stuck at $420 at some point last year (IIRC) to over $7200.  That'll make a lot of folks wake up and pay attention.  However, were you guys so addicted to bitcoin back when we were stuck at that price?  Maybe, maybe not.  But I myself find that I'm checking the price of bitcoin a lot more frequently now that the market has gone full retard.  This always happens in runaway bull markets--every single one of them.  There were stories around 1929 about doctors who were neglecting patients because they were so fixated on the stock market.  That's normal.

But we all know how the year 1929 ended, right?  Bitcoin right now is frighteningly similar to that bubble and the internet stock bubble.  You guys may not think so, but I'm tellin' y'all.  It is.

Well it is crypto addiction and almost everyone is addicted to it.  :D
In the early days when you are introduced to cryptocurrency, in these days people are very much excited and want to become a crypto expert over the night. I personally used to be very much excited and use to read a lot about cryptocurrency. In these days I had no time for facebook, YouTube or anyother activity which was not released to cryptocurrency.
Even now I give most of my time to cryptocurrency exchanges, bitcointalk forum and other cryptocurrency activities. Later on you find things become normal and you are adjusted to this routine with being a bit calm.

We're the same i keep myself being updated about the cryptocurrencies, available jobs, cheking e-mails etc. and doing it again, But i think it's not healthy enough you should give yourself a break at least a day the key in here is "Time Management" You can do your things good by using  time management. For example 3 hours on the forum, 3 hours on market etc. and give yourself a break.

I believe most of us in the forum are doing the same thing. Even in my weekends and holidays, I am in the forum and crypto-related sites most of these days. It maybe normal to us members but for some people who don't know this, we are addicts! I really hate how I compromise my sleep just to stay up here, but that's it, I think I can't control myself anymore.
But with these supports from the community, crypto esp bitcoin cannot be destroyed easily.

In my own case, my job really does not create that amount of time to expand the cycle like what Op is doing my own cycle is somehow shrink in the sense that, what I do is visit the forum, read some latest things happening, contribute if it interest me, check the exchange sites I have some coins to see how its doing, go to twitter to know if there are new tweets that needs to be acted upon, then go back to work. After about say 2 hours repeat the same thing but during weekend that I am not going to work, its basically the forum and just take some hours to do something else.

there is nothing wrong with being enthusiastic, but make sure to turn that knowledge into profit. knowledge for its own sake is a waste of efficiency when time is a factor. its cool when scientists research random minute shit when there is time to ponder on the little details. but the longer you wait with bitcoin, at least for the sake of adoption, the more you will miss out. use that knowledge to get a support job at an exchange, or pick up a gig on the forum.

I wonder what's your reason of repeating the cycle? You wanna get latest news on price/top gainer and loser to see your investment had hit? Mayb you are a frequent and sensitive trader that buy/sell in minutes, otherwise it would be unhelpful actually to see that often, let's say you are holding just set a coin alarm while reading real articles/analysis regarding crypto. Looking charts all day long on 1000+ coin couldn't help to process any insightful Infront based  on my experience.

Just buy some blue chip, check each quarter xD

I think it is good to be actively involved in crypto currencies, but I think you are a bit addictive to it, life should be balance and the price wont change a lot in a minute, you should take it easy, sometimes I also can be carried away and, i usually doing that routines when there is a big events like this coming hardfork, other than that I don't that often keep on checking the price

seems you have a fancy life for doing those things :D Me, when i woke up i am checking my phone and look for the price of my coin that i am HODling , opening my laptop to open bitcointalk.org forum. Reading is my habbit so i always read some interesting thread here throughout this forum all day. When im done i sleep for about 4-6 hrs a day. Become very active here lately.

This is true, many of us should be facing this “crypto addiction”.  I check out crypto related stuffs whenever I get my phone on my hands. Reading Bitcointalk, crypto news, checking out new projects, coins’ price and others. I don’t intend to stop or reduce the time doing it because I enjoy.

Me too. Since the morning wake up alarm I get my hands of my lappy and hit the bitcointalk first of all, checkout all the new hypes in the announcement section and discussion. Then I will always go to coinrmarketcap to see how my alt coin are doing and then next destination is exchanger where I will see whether my coins are sold for autostrade or not. It feels always good to do that and its getting habitual now.

More often if I'm seeing any new ICO then I will keep reading about it and will seek for its white paper etc. This is interesting as I can just know any upcoming opportunity to get more profits. This is how everything is working for me. Around the clock behind the bitcoin. Cool.

Yes that is what life is for crypto enthusiast. We are all strangled with its value, the way it trades in the market, all the hyper active news about bitcoin driving us crazy many times and much more. The journey of crypto world is just perfect in all the sense for example getting ourself to know how to manage the time and how to manage our assets. Those who are completely into trades will always know how to deal with loss situation and over come the frustration. This all can be achieved after putting whole efforts into it, like moving around it 24*7-365 days. Thats not different but its more or less same for every one who is into crypto currency world. Lets hope we see bright future with it always.

Doesn't sound very healthy, man. You still need some sort of physical exercise. What's the point of earning a lot of money when you'll die sooner and not later aye?

I think this is what I do in every day several months ago but now I am not too often to do what I do before. I realize that we have real life in out there that needs us to get involved. it is good if we can do routine like what you do but remember we have another things in our life with other people. we don't have to be addicting in crypto world, we need to meet other people to talk, I mean real conversation, we need to do other things in our life to get balance for our life.

You're experiencing what I call cryptobug. I've been like that for about a year now. Just try not to skip meals, and still try to get at least 8 hours of sleep. Let me guess, you watch aantonop videos?

I have a lot of difficulties to follow all the airdrop, all the new great project, all the drop and rise of price and i'm sad because i miss a lot of opportunities

Good thing it doesn't work that way for me. I try as much as possible to not focus that much in observing the movement of coins or bitcoin itself. It makes me anxious especially if there's high movement. So basically i still am able to continue my regular routines everyday

yes you need to make quality time here like 5 hours a day to complete any task in your campaign or faucet to earn,Bitcoin is like a work but this is online work so you need to understand anything about time management i think if you have a lot a work in real life best for you is to invest in trading to earn and you need only to wait to become high the altcoins you buy or you can also invest in bitcoin

It is alright if you get obsessed by crypto but you should still do it in moderation. Everything done in excess is bad for you. I am also obsess with crypto but I limit my time spent on it. I read about crypto early in the morning, like how I read news before. Check my trades, then go on with my normal life. I do that again after lunch and at night.

I think nowadays our lives are linked to much to cryptocurrencies and especially bitcoin. Everyday we check the news about crypto also make transactions, trading, gambling and maybe tweet and read news about bitcoin, and the cycle will start in the next day. I think now, we are more attached to bitcoin, In fact bitcoin will increase too much.

When you are getting started with bitcoin you need to stay focused!
What i mean by that you need to take your time and learn more about bitcoin and altcoins as well.
You should also join bitcoin community like bitcointalk.org and start learning and helping others through posting quality content.
And to do so that will require a lot of your time... hope you can manage that. :)

cypto is really addictive, it is like a drug that will never never lets you sleep or eat because you are hooked on it and your keep coming back for to check on what is new or what is the latest happening on the crypto scene . i guess it is just normal to have that addiction and your not alone with it, most of us are like that and even worst than that because we are not eating and sleeping anymore due to much addiction caused by cryptcocurrencies.

Since I'm in crytpo, bitcoin charts have been my new facebook. I check on them more often than I check the time on most days! Well, probably because I'm still new to this and thereby, still fascinated at how frequent and how the price greatly changes. The 24/7 open trading is both a blessing and a curse, I guess. And ever since I got into trading, both in crypto and the stock market, I've been spending most of my free time studying. Yes. Apparently it's fun. LOL. Been reading the book Trading for Dummies like a total newbie HAHA and been getting more active on sites like this. Even though, I think I'm spending way more time on this than necessary, I believe it's been a great upgrade from my previous lifestyle of constantly checking on newsfeed of different social media sites and actively stalking someone else's life every now and then. The shame LOL. I honestly think Facebook will lose its spark someday. Anyway, cheers to this new lifestyle guys!   :D

It is the best addiction ever because if you look at the present time and the value of the bitcoin will get the high time I hope the bitcoin will be the best for all at the level and I hope in the bitcoin I will buy a lot of the crypto currency because I hope you will see how fast the bitcoin is getting famous I hope this will increase the bitcoin value and I want to have bitcoin till the end of my life.

I feel you. That's actually the life of a crypto-trader. A bit tedious, but worth doing if you succeed. I've been in that cycle also, that's why I am looking for something to do. And that's what led me to make signature designs. In fact, I can't notice the time sometimes that I'm still doing my work in bitcointalk, only to find out that it's already 6:00PM in the evening.

To keep myself away from boredom, I usually read some articles, and I learned signature desiging by just reading a tutorial here in bitcointalk. Now, I am spending my time in signature designs, and every day is a learning day for me.
