Title: Bitcoin transaction taking too long ;-; [SOLVED]
Post by: Iamdeadlyz on November 04, 2017, 01:57:56 PM
Hello I sent this transaction @ 2017-11-02 03:37:42

and up until now it's not yet confirmed ;-; any advice or help?

https://blockchain.info/tx/dbfd19673984d9ff76d1e3ba17c4e731e0f273b36d91257540717d380aec0689

I've seen accelerators and tried like here and in viabtc but none of them worked

I used my android blockchain app to send the bitcoins

EDIT 11.5.17
Transaction now confirmed thanks a lot to this guy ^-^
Used Antpool's accelerator to speed up the confirmation time (you can expect a confirmation, whenever they mine the next block) :)
Antpool: https://www.antpool.com/user/prioritiseTransaction.htm?m=savePrioritiseTx

Each accelerator, has limits of their own... ViaBTC's accelerator, wouldn't accept it since it's below their minimum fee limit.

The transaction that you are trying to have has a big byte size and your transaction fee per byte is just 8.058 sat/B, on current transaction processing you should expect the transaction to be confirmed in 55-1800 mins but it may vary when more transaction request are made. Option that you can do is increase your transaction fee to speed it up.

Well, For that kind of fee to send that much money it's nearly hard for it to get one confirmation from the blockchain. 2 sat/b is really low than the useual fees to send money. try checking out bitcoinfees21.co so you could know how much or how big you should put some on your bitcoin fee. hope this helps.
Well, the app automatically made the fee. If I only knew that this is low I could've edited it dammit ;-;

thanks for the reply, anwyays checking this out hope this helps : /

Most of the wallet allows you to send custom transaction fee. Are you using the the mobile app of blockchain.info's online wallet? If so, you can click on the "fee" and see three option. Normal, priority and customize fee. Click on customize fee and set you fee with the help of https://bitcoinfees.21.co

Cool! Thanks a lot. Also this accelerator looks better than the other ones!

Cheers! Will wait patiently ^-^

You transaction fee 8 sats per byte is very low so do not expect that your transaction will confirmed fast or within the day. If you want to confirm it within an hour and it is important, you have to pay higher fees. In https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ they only provide accelerator services for those with at least 0.0001BTC/KB transaction fees
