So why 500 millions STEEP?

On our point of view its not so much, because we have more than 7 billions ppl living on planet Earth :)), on other hand
In case of compilation of  POS rewards schedule (The Steep Hills PoS Rewards System) and the general specifications we first of all set the task to consider the interests of our future investors and exchanges, there is not a secret that for  investors it is most important to get profit on their investments and the trading volumes are extremely important for exchanges, 500 million coins for PoS minting not so much in case of rather low start price taking into account favorable conditions for a hold of bulk of coins on purses after start for investors (for the purpose of obtaining the greatest number of the fixed PoS rewards) it shall compensate inflation and are most probable and possible lead to growth of course volatility always the highest at lower level of the price and growth in a percentage ratio in such conditions. If community wants to mine it not in solo we are ready to open pools for mining in PoW. Note that our PoW reward is 1 STEEP per block. Steep PoW mining ends on 500.000 block. Mining pools will open after ICO ends.

Why ICO, not a free launch?

In our opinion ICO is a most honest for Developers and their future community method of launch, because at first DevTeam release their idea and start to pre-sale their coins, managing cryptocurrency project requires not only programming skills, but also requires a good investments now. How can I solo mining with amd vga device?

You can mine in solo after ICO ends, with using any compatible miner for X11 algo and you version of AMD GPU. Example of SteepCoin.conf file will be add in OP for solo mining.

Good afternoon. The question is: is it possible to solo mine using only your wallet on your computer? I understand that if you only use the CPU, it is a useless idea. And another question: what is the minimum amount can start POS mining? I think that the difficulty will increase after the ICO.

You can calculate your own year interest in percent after you start staking. Anyway its much more than 1% . Maturity in SteepCoin 12 confirmations. Minimal stake age 4 hours, maximum stake age is 30 days. Here is fixed PoS rewards and we must keep in mind that all coins wuld not be sold out within ICO period will be burned by Mercatox mate. So its bit difficult on that moment calculated any interest in percent, because we dont know exactly how much coins will be on the SteepCoin Blockchain in circulation after ICO ends.

You anyway start staking, but if your own PoS weight will be bit low in STEEP PoS Network you will have a lowest chance to find a PoS block and getting PoS Reward.

Also cannot find the file to make the wallet work....most likely going to just sell if this does not work...

I know nothing about *.*   what does *.* mean ?   I have the note pad opened, and when I save the file in note pad, it will not let me save the file type as *.*  it will only let me save file type as .txt, or as all files.  I'm sure this is super simple for some of you to do in your sleep, but this is my first time.  If someone can explain this further to me would be great.....please.
