Title: bounty threads are full of facebook shares links and tweet reports
Post by: electronicash on November 06, 2017, 02:59:15 PM

bounty threads are full of facebook shares links and Tweet reports, i don't think the users in the forum are going to find them useful upon seeing page after page of tweeter links. maybe the mods can require the campaign managers to at least create a form where participants shall submit their weekly reports.

maybe the mods can require the campaign managers to at least create a form where participants shall submit their weekly reports.
This would fight back against the blatant account farming via spamming bounty posts. However, this also then brings downsides:
1) Harder to detect accounts that are almost solely spamming bounties.
2) Harder-to-impossible for outsiders to detect cheaters.

Anyhow, I don't see this being introduced as a forum-wide policy anytime soon. Maybe you should PM mprep.

Yes, it's an eyesore and complete spamfest. The bounty boards (including games and rounds) shouldn't count towards activity or post count at all and I have recently suggested as such. It's an absolute nightmare and incredibly time-consuming trying to moderate the 'joined' and 'thanks for the airdrop' type posts (not to mention incredibly futile. Many people are obviously only doing it to easily farm accounts because sometimes their entire post history just consists of claiming bounties etc. I've even seen numerous people post such things when there's no actual airdrops available so it's ripe for abuse.
