Title: Bitcoin transaction stuck...what do I do?
Post by: mattbellme on November 07, 2017, 09:35:54 AM
I have a bitcoin transaction that is stuck - has been for over 24 hours...apparently the fee was too low.  I've heard you can buy an accelerator, which one should I use?

Was looking at confirmtx.com, is it the real deal?

Can you post the transaction id so we can find it on the blockchain?

Unless the fee is really low it should confirm soon as the mempool is clearing out now. If not you can also try these free accelerators if the transaction is less than 500 bytes.

In future always check the mempool using https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ before you send and if possible use a replacement fee opt-in if you can.

Check your fee and you can estimate remaining time here: https://bitcoinfees.21.co
