Besides reading the actual white paper, I don't think you can really know unless you try. Why do you need to know though? You won't lose anything on an airdrop as you won't be needing to deposit something. It's an airdrop for a reason and not an ICO.

Hello guys am a newbie how can i know if an airdrop is real or fake

We can't really say if the airdrop is real or scam. And it doesn't even matter if it is a scam, just joined airdrop because you're not going to loose anything, we don't spend much of our time earning their coin/token so there is nothing to loose. And last and foremost it is free. So there is no need to be afraid at all.

Hi,
We can't say if the airdrop is real or scam so please don't give your Private Key.

I think it’s easy to recognize if it’s a fake airdrop  and you should be careful  E-xxx token airdrop.
1)A real airdrop always has a detail introduction , a fake airdrop always very simple.
2)A real or good airdrop always has a official website.
3)A real airdrop never ask for your private key.

First read white paper and try to understand it. Don't give your private keys for anything. If any project ask your private keys definitely it will be scam.

the first i see to know that would be SCAM ICO is their thread, how looks like. if i see no design(low skill design) i assume that would be SCAM ICO.
Then i read the white paper, and see what they focus on. then see how about other people says on their airdrop thread

Hello guys am a newbie how can i know if an airdrop is real or fake

Firstly, I always see who open that threat, official fresh-account or manage by old-account bounty manager. Then I look at their content, how detail and compact the information they give. Is there any weird thing. I usually observe first about 1-2 days before deciding to fill up the form. And be careful before fill the form. Now, I always consider if they show the spreadsheet publicly.

Often it can not be predicted. You have to go through your hunch, but I would not engage in such things with people you do not know at all. Of course you can do it yourself but it is very difficult.

you would be right if they give you time for read and understand the project, instead airdrop timings are often very limited so, wrongly, I keep registering for airdrops before to know what the project is. this is sad actually

Do you think that you can fill out all the forms for AIRDROP? If the data is created specifically for this purpose.

Hello guys am a newbie how can i know if an airdrop is real or fake

Just be careful buying into these. They are often fly-by-night projects set up by anonymous developers who just throw up a whitepaper overnight and airdrop a bunch of coins. It's all well and good if you get them for free. But usually what happens is the developers wait until the market has risen a bit, and then they dump all their coins on the investors. Then the project basically dies.

So I would treat them all with this in mind. They are much less likely to succeed in the long term than POW coins or well-run ICOs.

There is no real way to find if the project giving out airdrops is going to be legit or not. One can only do their own research and look at their whitepaper and the team behind the project to get an idea.

Airdrop means you can get some coins without invest your money, so I think you just need to try and you will know if it is fake, anyway, you will not too much loss if it is fake.

Well, it doesnt matter if you are going to receive those tokens for free, you should always be aware of the token or the project that you are going to be working for, so you should always try to read the whitepaper before joining some kind of bounties or campaigns, because it would be risky to join one and dont be paid for your hard work.
If their whitepaper seems shady, then dont join, because you are going to lose a lot of time and effort in there.

Title: Re: How to know fake Airdrop project
Post by: EcoChavCrypto on November 09, 2017, 09:45:45 PM
I think that those kind of threads should be posted in the other board of the forum in order to avoid those kind of spammy replies..
Of course that there is no way to find out if you are going to work on a scammy project if you dont read the whitepaper and pay attention to the replies that they get on their ANN, i would suggest you to follow those steps before joining a project if you dont want to be paid with $0 tokens once that the ico is finished.
be careful with this, those kind of projects are like a plague.

In this early phase it is usually hard to recognize which Airdrops are fake qnd which are good. Since there are so many Airdrops lately, first what you can do is a quick validity check. Does the project has a whitepaper, is there any roadmap, do they have a website? If they are asking you a private key than it is a scam and you should runaway from it. I also don't apply for Airdrops where they are asking to install a wallet. You never know is there any malicious software integrated in the wallet. Be careful and everything will be ok. Wish you much success

Its easy to create your own coin.  Just fork any coin from github make few alteration,  then presto new coin!

Some scammers are using airdrop to hack people.  By downloading their infected wallets you can be infected by their trojan that allows them to access your conputers,  find bitcoin core wallets and private keys or even access your poloniex and Bittrex account.

You will never know which airdrop is legitimate and which is not... If you have time just sign up for every single one, maybe you will be lucky and it will be worth it.

Haha the wonderful world of air drops. You really have no true way of knowing if they are a scam or not but your risk is very minimal. They like 5 minutes to read the rules and register and the worst case scenario is you dont receive any tokens ... If you do then its a bonus for what is essentially no work on your behalf.

That's what i think too. We can't know if that is legit or not because a lot of airdrop project is promising but some developer after they get what they want they will abandon the project immediately and probably making another fake airdrop project.

I am convinced many of these airdrops is just to build up a database, devs have no need to get your e-mail address, telegram, etc.

If you need to give your e-mail address use an alias, you can always bin it the end of the month  8)

I wonder how many send their priv key instead of private key of ether wallet  :D

Yes Dear, here is many Airdrops is scam and fake.actually i don't know, how can i detect a fake or scam Airdrop project. i think some of way that mean check whitepaper, ERC20 approval, is there any roadmap, do they have a website?
I also don't apply for Airdrops where they are asking to install a wallet.

Some airdrops are asking for donations to cover the cost of gas.  I'd stay away from these.  I have been signing up for a lot lately, some have delivered, some have not.  I'm not donating anything yet.

If the project has a decent website, active social presence, responsive developers and large community, it's probably not fake.  Whether anything becomes of the project is another matter.

It doesn't matter if that airdrop fake or good you are not putting investment so you did not lose  your money. Fake airdrops are asking your private key and that way I don't intertain that. Many participants of project that's not scam. Anyway airdrops is free no need to invest some of them asking donation but its up to you.

When they ask too much private information and if their whitepaper is not so legitimate-looking. You will really know by instincts if an airdrop is fake. However there is really no much risk because most of the time you will just be asked for your ETH address.

Hello guys am a newbie how can i know if an airdrop is real or fake

I also set "picky" mode on airdrops. I don't wanna be a victim of fake airdrop. I usually look at their visual first, then how the way the manage their airdrop. How detail their briefs. And the most important (for me) is how they display participants data. If they publicly show the data without curates/ hide important info, then I have to consider another airdrop program.

Hello guys am a newbie how can i know if an airdrop is real or fake

Well, you can't really actually identify if an airdrop is real by just reading or thread or seeing the rank of the poster (Most newbie did this mistake)

There are airdrops of coins, with really good Design on thread. But end up fail/gone/scam.
There are airdrops of coins, with just few line of text. But end up as a successful airdrop coin.

So its really up to someone to check, research and think about the future/possibilities of a new coin

It is not easy to know the fake airdrop projects, because the fake devs try always to show their projects as legitimate ones, however there is some signs could help to find the fake projects. For example if they asked you to provide your private keys (or even the public keys), or if they asked you to send high amounts of ETH as donations, so its better to stay away from such projects.

When you see a dev that gives tiny little amount of airdrop and the roadmap is going very long with no definite plan for development in short to medium term, then you should know that the particular airdrop is fake. In addition to point made, when there is minimum amount of effort is not put into white paper, Ann, bounty that is also anothet red flag. These factor mentioned so far is not limited to airdrop alone, it should be apply to ICO, altcoin etc.

Read and think as a investor like you want to invest your money to them

As an individual that participating in airdrops , i must say that i cannot really know if the airdrop that i participating is fake or not . Unless i receive their free tokens and waits an update for their tokens , what will be the future of it , what exchange can be traded , the roadmap of the project if there is one. And the whitepaper of the project. Many airdrops are good but most of them are shits.

Fake airdrop on my experience are airdrop who made you interested to join because of the name. Like 10M Token (10MT). Many people join that airdrop because in their mind they will get 10 million token. And if the community 10MT growth, the dev then made 10 MTI token. I don't know what the purpose so the 10 MT airdrop become shitcoin now. Thats just a stratregy to manipulate people. Dont be trapped

You can really never tell legit and  scam tokens. But there are obvious projects that are scam and also the ones who are requiring to donate 0.01 to 0.1 eth shit are known are scam. But just take all the tokens that are free, who doesnt want free money though? Just dont give private key (if youre not that dumb)and a lot of money with no assurance from this.

As most airdrops have no whitepaper, no roadmap, no nothing, to me it is just a pure gamble ;D
Sometimes it can go big or poof just gone

For me now, the best thing we can do is atleast following their telegram, atleast we know real time info

But if you're just holding your airdrop token, nothing to lose eh?  ;D

I also tryied 1000 airdrops only few are comning. Please be sure that dont give your private key to airdrop

If a airdrop asks about a private key of wallet definitly it will be fake one.. Other things you consider

You ask from this forum, see the white paper , telegram app users comments , website , apps
We can figure out is this a viable project or not

Nothing will lose whether an airdrop is fake or real. Just try to fill up all the forms you can. But be very aware on some application form because scams have scattered. Your question should be, “How to know if an airdrop is a scam?”. Now, to know if they are a scam or a hacker, if the link they provided lead you to your wallet or they ask you your private keys, I’m very much sure that those are scams.

I think if for airdrops, I do not really believe in airdrops, because so many beginners make those airdrops threads, which makes me doubt on airdrops. but if you just want to get a free coin, you just need to join and most importantly do not you send your private key address to anyone.

I think the OP intend to talk about the so called airdrop that tries to sneak your private keys or emails.
What everyone should realize is there's no need to share your private key ever except for loading your wallet.
And use a different email address for airdrops than your personal address.

Hello guys am a newbie how can i know if an airdrop is real or fake
If someone says the usual stuff about their project, like it being the future of cryptocurrencies or whatever with absolutely no basis then they are definitely a scam. I mean you can't really lose money participating in airdrops but you'll definitely lose money if you get convinced to invest.

Never, ever invest any money in airdrops.

And it's probably never a good idea to participate in one, unless it legitimately has good ideas behind it.

you will never know if its fake or real until you try it just always invest what you can afford to lose because in crypto there always a lot ofrisk
some airdrop give the coin for free but what happen next is the dev is just waiting to hit it in exchange and sell some coin and not develop it
sooner or later the coin will not worth anything

Nothing will lose whether an airdrop is fake or real. Just try to fill up all the forms you can. But be very aware on some application form because scams have scattered. Your question should be, “How to know if an airdrop is a scam?”. Now, to know if they are a scam or a hacker, if the link they provided lead you to your wallet or they ask you your private keys, I’m very much sure that those are scams.
If those project is asking about your private key of your wallet, surely that is scam, also you can distinguish if there are fake. So dont trust in some airdrop if you have doubt about there project.

You wont be able to mark an airdrop fake or real. By the way why you are worried about fake or real airdrop is free and it doesn't cost you anything to try it out.

The ones that ask for private keys, I'm surprised these threads don't get deleted fast enough.
Other ones that ask for mandatory donations, It's not an airdrop if they ask you to send money so stay away from these
Lastly look at team behind the airdrop and just join them I mean in the end of the day they are free so even if it is fake as long as
1 of the airdrops you joined takes off then that's pretty cool!

No better way of knowing at all. I won't bother myself knowing whether an airdrop is legit or not because airdrops are mostly open to limited number of applicants only thus you don't have the luxury of time to further investigate if you want to be on the list. The task anyway is just for you to fill in a form. As to whether it will give you or not, there's no fuzz about it coz the pay is usually not that much oftentimes. Bu you have be cautious when airdrops ask for eths and the most your private key as you may definitely lose on them instead of gaining. You know, scammers are good at deceptions. So i suggest, just fill in airdrop forms as many as you can in a day.

Well, Once you receive the airdrop, you can then wait for the coin to be listed in good exchanges so that you can convert them to bitcoins in good rates.

I think real airdrop has a manager who give many more information about an airdrop. He also give progress information when the project pre sale until the end. Many follower will get coins for reward  ;)

An Ethereum analyst on youtube said that fake tokens will first be involve in airdrops to advertise the token, that is why we should always check the unique technology that they are promoting then we must also check the roadmap and whitepaper and even the website, then if you see some red flags then doubt that they are a genuine coin.

Honestly speaking, I don't trust Airdrops because I knew some airdrops asking for a private key and eth address before you become a participants to their program. You may able to get a free token from them but in the end some of it you don't know they already have an access to hack your account in your MEW due to the information you gave.

Hello guys am a newbie how can i know if an airdrop is real or fake
I haven't saw a fake airdrop, yet. But there are a lot of airdrops/ICOs that might turn bogus if not well-planned. How can we determine them?

First of all, it should be obvious that a project is fake if it has no whitepaper. Whitepaper is definitely the most important part of a project. This will give the people the idea about the project, including the details about the coin/token.

Second, a project should have a well-designed and organized website. Although the looks and designs of a website doesn't guarantee that the project is real (especially that there are a lot of people nowadays that can do web designing easily), it is still safer to join a project with a great website as it will serve as the mirror of the project.

Another thing to look at when joining an ICO is the list of team members. Most project/ICO developers uses the word PRIVACY to hide their identity. Although this is reasonable, there are still some devs who put their team members' faces and backgrounds in their websites. These ICOs/projects are more trustworthy than those who do not show the list of team members.

I've been a lot of airdrops before and only few of them were true and most of them I didn't get tokens even when I follow all the instructions.
And I noticed that most airdrops and scam ICOs are started or managed by newbie and junior members.
Real airdrops and ICOs were actually managed by higher ranked members and specially those notable bounty managers are more likely to be true.

That's why today I won't participate in anu airdrops because they're technically difficult and most of them are not reliable managers.
I would prefer higher ranks who are notably managed most successful ICOs. Secondly, airdrops will only give you too little portion of stakes so I prefer wait patiently by joining bounty campaigns rather than getting a single coin or token.

Real managers have to be higher ranks because that way they're telling people that they are offering good ICO. that's why most good ICOs will hire bounty managers whose ranks are higher like Hero or Legendary Members. For me, I feel safe and secured and I don't feel wasting my time on joining airdrops and bounty campaigns.

Hi friend, first i need to let you know that 95% of airdrop are mostly dump after the airdrop end. however there are no simple way to know that airdrop is fake because most of them do cook up good whitepaper and even roadmap to make the project attract many participant. however since you have nothing to lose in taking part in ICO i think you are good to go but be careful in joining airdrop that tell participant to install executable file on their system to claim their free airdrop. most of them contain malware which might affect or even steal files from your system.

* Does it require me to spend money?
* Does it require me to share a private key?
* Does it require me to share personal data?
* Will it take me a lot of time to join / participate?

Since there are such a large number of Airdrops recently, first what you can do is a brisk legitimacy check. Does the undertaking has a whitepaper, is there any guide, do they have a site? On the off chance that they are asking you a private key than it is a trick and you should runaway from it. I additionally don't have any significant bearing for Airdrops where they are making a request to introduce a wallet. You never know is there any malignant programming incorporated in the wallet. 3. they will not publish the spreadsheet or publish just an address and most of them are the developer wallets.
4. they list it in exchange with high price
5. high price will attract buyers and developer of this fake airdrop success to sell their coin.

Why do you need to know if an airdrop is real or fake? Either of the two, nothing will happen to you. What you need to know is, if an airdrop is a scam or legit. To verify if an airdrop is legit, you should look for their whitepaper and team. But will you ever do that? Some airdrops have limited slots only. So you should go for the other way and that is to verify if an airdrop is scam. If they ask for your private key, then they are probably a scam.

Airdrops are gifts from ICOs, gifts have no interest or any back payment, so you can know fake airdrops from the rest if that airdrop is requiring you to donate any amount. Requiring, meaning mandatory, some airdrops are requiring to donate to be able to receive their tokens, others are not requiring it and it is up to you if you want to donate to them.. so i guess it is not a fake one.

It is very difficult to determine if the Airdrop of a particular new coin is scam or not. You have to spend time on their site to know about their team and whitepaper etc. I agree that instead of wasting time on reading all this stuff, it is better to fill out the form and be part of free airdrop which is coming to your address.

This is really fake! Any airdrop that is asking for private keys is scam. Why you give your private keys? Its just like giving your keys of your house to the straner. Beware of this. Better download a chrome extension like the "EtherAdressLookUp" so that if you visit suspicious site, it will alert. Most of airdrops are shady, posted by a newbie with no any info about them. It's not worthy to fill up that for for airdrop if we could not determine the exact assurance on how legit it is. Well nothing will be lost with you if you try to fill out the form given for airdrop, but some airdrops will collect donations from participants and it made me wonder that scam is really true if that will happen collection small amounts of ethereum; some reached to an amount of 0.0005 eth. That made me suspect of an airdrop to scam people like me, because if an airdrop really provide free tokens they've really on their budget to send all transactions for free to every participants.

Read something about the project you want to participate. I don't think it's a good idea to participate in every airdrop. You need to understand that this or that project has some value. Is there public team? Where is the money to make development? How did they rise or will rise money in the future?

I agree with you also if you see a lot of photo's they have taken much more time into it that means it is something worth it but if you see almost nothing than i would say it is a fake most of the time.

I think there are no fake airdrop, some airdrop have giveaway value tokens to users, some airdrop give no value tokens. The only ways to know an airdrop with no value tokens is    check their whitepaper, roadmap, dev members to see its real or fake, prepare for long time or new set up.

If Airdrop project ask for this then it's a red flag and 100% they will scam or hack people that will provide their address. Maybe we need to be careful when we fill up forms in the airdrop unless we don't join.

Before I join an airdrop project, the first thing I want to do is to check if the bounty or an airdrop thread manager has higher rank and I prefer Senior or Hero and Legendary Members because they are being paid good money to handle everything. A good Cryptocurrency company will give money and efforts to advertise their projects otherwise most fake ICOs and projects that's started by Newbie and Junior Members are the ones that giving coins that has no value.

You loose nothing but your time. Spotting fake airdrop project is indeed simple and complicated. The steps are eventually difficult and after you receive tokens, you cannot make any transactions out of it because most of them did not hit Cryptocurrency exchange until today. That's why I stopped joining airdrops and focus on my signature bounty campaign.

Just always be careful when joining an airdrop. Do not give anything that will compromise your security like private keys or passwords. Some even ask for 0.001 eth, don't fall for that. It is an airdrop, it should be free. No one can tell if an airdrop will push through or not, scam or not. If you did not receive it, don't sweat it, you lose nothing anyway.

Usually i have made research about the projects, the indicator to know the fake airdrop are the developers team doesn't have experience in the business related projects ICOs, there are no corporations behind the ICOs projects, there are no real business before they doing ICOs selling and they are always gives too much token for all of the people, the best projects of ICOs always give token with a little amount of token.

Hello guys am a newbie how can i know if an airdrop is real or fake

Airdrops are up in the air for grabs. No investment, no need for advertising them for about a  month or so. All you need is a little time to fill up the registration form but do it with an extra care because you might be filling up a phishing form that would steal your information. If you can be sure that you're doing the safe thing, then it don't matter if that Airdrop is fake or not because you lose nothing though. But if that's a legit one, then lucky for you if you can receive some of their tokens.

I don't really take a big deal with airdrop, since we all know that mostly freed drops coins are almost nothing in value and some of them are not yet listed in any exchanger. Though we really point out if that certain airdrops are real, it is better if we don't take it seriously specially some airdrops are asking for donations in returns with a big amount of their coins.

This is really helpful! Thank you for this!

Airdrop coins are free tokens that are air dropped to out accounts. There is no way to find out if a coin that is being airdropped is real or fake. Maybe read the whitepaper and look at the team and their engagement with the community can give you an idea about their intentions.

I have observed quite a number of airdrops recently and I don't bother sharing them as some are made to either scam unsuspecting members or increase followership on their various twitter or telegram channels.

Any token or coin having an airdrop should have;

1. A website
2. Whitepaper (not plagiarized)
3. An announcement thread on bitcointalk
4. A group ( telegram, discord or slack)

Any airdrop without the following features as mentioned above should not be given priority, don't waste your precious time registering for such. as most turn out to be a waste of time.

For me we cannot identify exactly what's real and fake because some scammers are too good to fake their identity or campaign to make it more believable. That's the problem here in forum but once they already want to get your private keys don't ever give it and immediately leave that campaign and report it to the moderators because for sure they are scammers.

The purpose of airdrops is to provide a better distribution of the coins/ tokens so that any tech/ blockchain that uses the token later can have multiple nodes and network effect. It was primarily to increase usage so devs could have some idea about the performance.
These days airdrops have become one of the two types:
1. Marketing techniques: These you can judge on the basis of quality of discourse at their telegram etc, their whitepaper and background of the team.
2. Collecting donations: They will typically tell you to buy a few to get the airdrop. They will introduce various ways to buy you in. If the amount isn't too much for you and you are willing to take the risk then fine, otherwise avoid these suckers.

Goes without saying that you should never share personal info out there.

I agree with you here. So many people claim airdrops are nothing but scams which makes me laugh at them since they are effectively free and cannot steal your money as long as you are careful. I have applied for airdrops for a long time now and I have fun while doing it. Never lost a single penny and always gained stacks of money for minimal effort. My best airdrop till now is the Oyster Pearl airdrop which gave me almost $9k for literally no effort.

There is no perfect way to say which airdrop is legit and which is not, but research does help in this case. A well designed ANN thread, great website, experienced development team, great whitepaper etc help in identifying legit airdrops from the fake ones.

Besides reading the actual white paper, I don't think you can really know unless you try. Why do you need to know though? You won't lose anything on an airdrop as you won't be needing to deposit something. It's an airdrop for a reason and not an ICO.

Actually, Not every airdrop is really profitable and it does not matter if you are joining the fake airdrop or legit because all you need to do is register and that's it, You are already in. If you want to earn altcoin then just work on signature campaign or any social media promotions that will benefit the ico.

We can verify if it is a real airdrop if they are not asking your Private Key,  the details of the project are not vague, the dev team behind the project is respected, and if it is supported by a well-known persons or companies. Here in Bitcoin talk I always check the airdrop bounty manager's rank if it is legendary, hero or at least Senior member because they are being paid by good money and I believe they are legit.

It is hard to know whether an airdrop is authentic or not. There are no clues. Some ICOs include airdrops but the question is how about those which do not plan to create an ICO? We can never be sure unless we try. Besides, profits from airdrops are not that big. Some tokens decreases in value afterwards. It is better to join airdrops of known ICOs rather than those which are not known for anything just to be sure.

In the case of airdrops, the most popular scams and scammers are on Twitter. They usually copy the names and information of famous people in the crypto sphere and use this to lure people into sending them information or cryptocurrency. They even go as far as to post their scams under the post of the people they are imperenating so read the names very carefully. The most common scam is "Send X amount of cryptocurrency so we can locate your wallet and we will send you back 10 times the amount you've send". Long story short : If anyone asks you for your Private Key or ask you to send them any amount of money - It's a scam.

Nowadays, there's a lot of issues about scam in airdrops to avoid this matter, be aware for the people who manage about the project whether its not copied and we can based the numbers of participants. Exactly, we can distinguished wether its legit or not.

the best way for us to know a genuine or fake project. Before signing up on airdrop, make sure that the link has full details to make sure it is not fake, airdrop actually has a bitcointalk thread, whitepaper, twitter, telegram and has a roadmap in their thread , because a lot of airdrops are false with the intention of collecting many followers and even they can cheat us all, so be careful on a project.

Also if you want to assure that the airdrop is legit, you may check their whitepaper, websites, the team dev manager, and their telegram community, and  we can also based on the numbers of participants.

You can hardly spot which is a trash airdrop. Only few of airdrop really have the value. Besides, it's free and nothing to lose if it turns out to be useless other than your time provided to get that particular token. It's some kind of game and luck. I would to recommend you to not look at airdrops ever.
Because they all become in vain.
Airdrops can give you about 2-5 dollars, and you should maintain a lot of them to get some money.
But even if you do, you won't get much out of it because most of airdrops won't pay you, unfortunately.
Although there are some that pay.

In general, some coin drops might emerge as beneficial, yet obtaining constant benefit from free drops will turn into a mainly impractical mission for the majority of members.

As a matter of fact, it is difficult to discern whether an airdrop is phony or genuine. You can detect it however, through the response of the network in the event that they will acknowledge the venture. In spite of the fact that undertaking with great whitepaper, ended up being trick toward the end.

Unfortunetily you can not be sure for 100% at all. But I would advise you to check the bitcointalk thread and all the info about the project, usually this kind of research is helpful

First read white paper and try to understand it. But these days airdrops are not really worth it. They are slowly becoming worthless.

in airdrops companies there are a lot more scammers than in bounty companies. The fact is that the field of activity of a fraudster in airdrops is much larger. Especially since spam advertising from drops is already orderly. Tired, because it is much larger, it is equivalent to more fraud.

I figure you can see on the off chance that they are tricksters, particularly when they are as of now asking with your private keys. Read a great deal on their theard on the off chance that they are genuine. Don't simply top off the shape without perusing the task.

I think for airdrop program is very rarely a fake but the problem of the airdrop program is, we are given a little token on the project so very few results that we can selin it I see very rarely we can make a raise to the original money in the airdrop.

Yes, there is no way to know where the Scam and where not, you just need to do the mass , so that there was less Scam, there were projects with a good product and a team but skamilis , and there were those that did not even collect software and made big money

One way to know a scam airdrop is if you are constantly asked to provide your private key. Some airdrop projects also are just there to gather users information and plan on how to get into their privacies. We have to be careful of the information we use when filling airdrop forms

In order to find out whether airdrop is real or it is airdrop from scammers, you need to seriously bother and delve into the project itself and the company. It seems to me if you participate in airdrop companies you should not do it. Just register constantly in all airdrop.

As for me, it is not so essential question that needs such discussion. You have to fill the form for receiving airdrop and it takes about 5-10 minutes, you don’t invest in it your money like in ICO or a lot of time like in bounties. That is why I participate in 20-30 airdrops every day and don’t think even are they scams or not, it’s like a gambling for me

fake airdrop can be detected by suspicious programs, usually airdrop request to send a number of ethereum on the grounds as a fee and usually also fraud by asking private key wallet as a condition. it is definitely a fake and a scam.

the way to know that the airdrop project is correct or not is to look at the project's website and see also its progress in the group telegram, because many fake airdrop projects with the framework of wanting to cheat and some who want to steal for some reason
alert and thorough if there is something unusual, better avoid

Just dependably be watchful when joining an airdrop. Try not to give anything that will trade off your security like private keys or passwords. Some even request 0.001 eth, don't fall for that. It is an airdrop, it ought to be free. Nobody can tell if an airdrop will push through or not, trick or not. In the event that you didn't get it, don't sweat it, you don't lose anything at any rate.

1. The form should not contain a referral link
2. The form should contain a link to the official website.

I don't believe that the fact that an airdrop has a lot of requirements makes it a genuine one because they are stress less airdrop with good outcome. But once airdrop requires that one shoukd sent a certain amount of ethereum to get the airdrop reward, I think tgat is fake.

Read the White Paper of the project, which makes Airdrop and study the LinkedIn profiles of all project participants. And also be sure to look at how the website of the project is designed.

Normally I have made research about the activities, the pointer to know the phony airdrop are the designers group doesn't have involvement in the business related ventures ICOs, there are no companies behind the ICOs ventures, there are no genuine business before they doing ICOs offering and they are dependably gives excessively token for the majority of the general population, the best tasks of ICOs dependably give token with a little measure of token.

Is it not better to participate in a bounty campaign because there are so many airdrops that don't pay the tokens when the airdrop is finished and there is even an airdrop that is just a scam, and even though there is an airdrop that pays the tokens, the payouts are very small and not worth what has been done for participate in the airdrop.

I additionally don't know how to state that an airdrop is phony or not. I simply feel it on the off chance that it is trick or not, I additionally search for their sites in the event that it is pleasant then it isn't trick since I trust that on the off chance that it is trick they won't make an exceptionally decent site for that. Since we don't know how to tell on the off chance that it is phony or not then the most vital thing to recollect isn't give private keys.

It is easier to spot some fake airdrops. Any airdrop that promise huge reward like saying they are giving away 1000 token each to the participants and each token worth $1,you should run from this type of airdrop.

You will leave more time to check out, good project or not. It is better to take everything that is there, and faster) have special programs for this and you're in business! 8)

Some of the people behind the project are running a fake account I message one guy who looks like her in the team page and ask her if he is part of the team and she said no, so this is one of the warning sign, and of course if they are not very keen in answering your questions, it's another sign that it is fake.

We cannot really say whether the airdrop is real or fraudulent.
I think it's easy to recognize if it's a fake airdrop and you have to be careful with it
Real or good airdrops always have an official website and a real Airdrop never asks for your private key.
And it doesn't matter if it's a scam, just join airdrop because you won't lose anything, we don't spend much of our time getting their coins/tokens so there's nothing loose. And the last and most important is free. So there is no need to be afraid at all.
