Title: Krugman attacks Ron Paul
Post by: hugolp on December 20, 2010, 12:45:05 PM
Krugman is very good at one thing: building strawmans. And that is exactly what he does with Ron Paul. I felt embarrassed for Krugman reading his posts.

I don't feel for him.  Krugman has long ago abandoned the sceptical economic background that netted him a Nobel in favor of biased political punditry.  What's sad is that people still consider him a serious economist, and then listen to him without the proper 'bullshit' filters.  It's the 'appeal to authority' fallacy writ large.

This should be offtopic. I don't have time to listen to attack pieces made by Krugman or anybody on any side for that matter.

I didn't think anyone was listening to Krugman any more.  Or Al Gore for that matter, despite having invented the internet.  :D

Oh, I was thinking the title meant he had finally resorted to physically assaulting Paul.
