Title: Best network switch for s9's
Post by: NateTGreat on November 09, 2017, 03:08:57 AM
Hey All,

I am looking for recommendations on what brand network switch to use for x4 s9 antminers. I intend to connect the mining switch to my main ASUS wi-fi router with a cable, but wanted to get a 4-5 port switch dedicated to the miners. Will this configuration work? If so, what brand would you recommend for ease of use and compatibility with mining?

On another note, I am hoping to run all 4 of these miners on a 220V 30 AMP clothes dryer outlet in my basement. It is going to be cold for the winter where I live and imagine it is doable. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Cheap is OK. Doesn't need to be fancy.

Is working for me behind my ASUS wifi router.

I have these running in my farms.  Works like a champ for me!  I'm running L3+s and Avalon 741s on it.

Thanks for the heads up, both of you. I figured cheap is fine. Just wanted verification!
