Shit dude. That's a blockchain address. You can't use that to receive payments. I asked you to send to my wallet. Check the previous PM.

Is that true? and money is gone ?

Does he mean an address in his blockchain.info wallet? In that case, it should just end up in his wallet again.

If he send it from an exchange, the sending address is indeed not his address. In that case, the money isn't "gone", but most likely gets credited to someone else's account.
It doesn't look like a payment from an exchange though, as exchanges usually send payments in batches.

If he didn't use a hardware wallet such as electrum, where he had control over all his private keys, but instead used an exchange to make the transaction, such as coinbase, poloniex, or bittrex, then yes.

He probably has no access to the adress he sent the bitcoin from as the exchange does that, he only has one receiving adress.

But, when i trace the adress,

https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/b257888856706ef8?from_address=149Vu5bbQKgxs4C6xRXiZaJMSVmabQ2pve

It is part of a wallet with only 1 adress, which is 149Vu5bbQKgxs4C6xRXiZaJMSVmabQ2pve, and it is not part from any big exchange, except coinbase?

Ask him from which wallet / exchange he sent it from.

so if its not blockchain.info the money is gone or ? who should i contact ?
it has 6 confirmations..

Well, you should ask the guy who sent you the bitcoin from that adress where he sent them from. Which exchange / wallet.

The only possible exchange i currently see where something like this could happen is coinbase, as that is one of the only wallets not listed on https://www.walletexplorer.com/

It could be that the guy is trying to scam you, and that he has already received the money.

There's no way to turn back the transaction, the money is already gone. You might be able to get it back from the exchange/ wallet support, but chances are slim.

Don't fall for this, he can make all screenshots he want, fact is, 1FYyHeSHy47NTiEBBYs3HAwsss8b3oYK3N sent 0.00792085BTC.
Proof (https://blockchain.info/address/1FYyHeSHy47NTiEBBYs3HAwsss8b3oYK3N) it never sent a zero-amount.

i received payment on bitcoin ($63)   and guy who sent  asked for a refund
Now I'm curious: why did you receive a payment, and why did you he ask for a refund? Was it a scam from the beginning?

I'll second that. The blockchain is the unassailable truth. What some anonymous guy said is just that, what some guy said.

We did bitcoin to paypal exchange
paypal canceled the deal for some silly reasons so i refund him the BTC.
anyway, he send email to blockchain about it.  i strongly beliave that its bug on his wallet and not a scam attempt.

thanks for the help

Most likely, it'll be a bug in B.info wallet... honestly, it is one of the most poorly coded systems (both web and mobile)... I don't know why it is so popular??!? ???

It is probably caused because the wallet doesn't know how to properly reconcile the fact that it sent 0.00792085 BTC TO 1FYyHeSHy47NTiEBBYs3HAwsss8b3oYK3N and then received 0.00792085 FROM 1FYyHeSHy47NTiEBBYs3HAwsss8b3oYK3N... and the values cancel each other out.

You have the actual blockchain as proof you returned the coins, he will need to sort it out with B.info (probably delete the app data for his wallet app... and restore the wallet from seed or repair it or whatever system b.info use )

Tell him to restore the wallet from the seed or import the private key into another wallet like Electrum. If it's a bug on blockchain.info not displaying his balance, that should let him spend his funds. He should have control over that address because he has previously sent funds from it, so it's not like a bug where b.info gave him an address without having the private key.

It's easy to use, gives you access to your private keys/seed unlike an exchange or most web wallets, and is fairly popular. It's also the second result on google if you search "bitcoin wallet".

If he didn't use a hardware wallet such as electrum

Electrum isn't a hardware wallet because it's fully software. A hardware wallet is a Trezor, a Ledger, and whatever other physical products there are.
