Maybe admins should add 2fa to provide more secure for accounts ?

You're not the first proposing that.

But it would be a great idea. It will bring more security and eventually more "troubles" to admins/mods. A lot of people will start saying they lost their 2-FA device, etc etc.

This should be consider very serious cuz in this last few weeks we saw many users that they are been hacked and account used for scams this should be consider as very serious add. But maybe they already consider this for implementation for upcoming period.

Not really. Theymos won't add too much in this forum and as far as I remember this feature will be available in the new forum though we don't know when will it be released.

The only way I see this working for the forum is if it's related to a Bitcoin address and it's signature but that could be very difficult to implement.

Verifying a signature is pretty easy to implement... But like dillpicklechips  already mentioned: since the epochtalk development started, the admin hasn't done any real patching to SMF. I don't think he'll start patching again either, but i seriously wonder when epochtalk will be rolled out tough, it has been years since they first started coding.
