If you had 10,000$ what all coins would you buy?
And in what proportion?
What would be the major/significant precautions that you would take?

I can buy bitcoins only. Bitcoin is the real king. King of all crypto currency. Many people telling nowadays that bitcoin cash is the new bitcoin, I don't agree with it. Bitcoin is bitcoin!

If i have 10000$, I would definately buy ethereum.Ethereum was the second breakthrough after Bitcoin, with their awesome smart contracts feature. There are currently at least 1,000 different types of coins as listed on various exchanges sites.Again ethereum price is relatively stable,bitcoin price can easily fluctuate.Ethereum is really cool to invest in.

If i have that much money i will definitely buy and invest first to bitcoin, why? it is proven that you may profit from it just by holding it, the demand of the people, the great potential it holds for the future, volatile but it always pumps every month and the free money you can get from the forks just by holding it that's why it is preferred first because of the great opportunity it holds then i will spread the remaining to the popular altcoins that i think posses some winning qualities like ethereum, monero, dash and other coins.

if i have $10.000 right now,of course i will buy Bitcoin directly right now no matter what people said about it.
right now goverment trying to get into it by regulating their exchanger,
which mean slowly Bitcoin accepted by them and they're trying to know and control it.
also we heard about another listing in a new site which is a well known one(they said will add it Q4 this year,but who knows?)
and the demand keep increasing from time to time.
so,other than spending my money with other cryptocurrency.i think it would be better to buy Bitcoin directly and then trade it.

I am buying bitcoin and other altcoins that are in the top except bitcoin cash. They are in a good position and buying them right now is a good investment for me because the bitcoin cash pump is just a hype and i don't think that it will last for a long time. Bitcoin will still be the king and bitcoin cash will not replace it.

If i have $10,000, I would like to buy Bitcoin first. At my point of view, people will be use Bitcoin in future for buy something goods or others. Moreover ETH  is the second choose for trading. It might be taken more strong position in market very soon.

All would be bitcoin for start and then I can scatter it with other coins.
Ethereum is a good choice and others under it with legitimate companies that are backing it up and projects that are already at work.
I dont want my bitcoin to just be on idle. Maybe 10 percent or 20 of it will go to another coin just so I could see if it could be more profitable than just waiting.

if that is today, i would definitely buy BTC, BCC and ETH but more BTC. Price is very low and with the growing acceptance of BTC in the market, it is anticipated to retrace its way up

I can actually use the 10k to buy bitcoin and ETH and i will HODL till they get  to the moooonnnn.

You missed the chance to buy BCC. today it crosed $1300 this is unexpected move from this coin. just week back it was under $400 but today suddenly $1k increment and the BTC price is dropping today. i am confusing where to invest. who ever hold BCC they are now made good profit. i am holding ETH and waves don't know when these coins will rise.

I'd buy bitcoins for these 10000$, mainly because altcoins trading requires a lot of knowledge and time,which i don't have, while HODLing doesn't that so it is easier to earn this way.

if i were own the $10000 i buy some of altcoin right now because most of the altcoin are dumping in the market by pricing. so it is high time to buy altcoin but i can't because of leak of money of mine. its my bad fortune.

well i believe we can buy anycoin who isin a loe price and hold it for a long time a d wait on its price to rise up i believe all kinds of coin is having the capability to increase someday most of the coin are getting high value because of the internet usage continue yo increase.and all of these was running through net so then many people will saw and used it .that is why there will be a big possibilty to earn someday if we are going to hold.

How much would the amount would be, top allocation would always be Bitcoin, then Altcoins. Under altcoins, 50% of leftover funds after buying Bitcoins will go to established altcoins with good team and future prospects. And the rest for new ICOs and good unattended altcoins which have chances of hitting high.

Bitcoin cash is my first choice if I have $10,000. As you can see, after Segwit2x failed, investors have not believed Bitcoin so much. They are interested in BCH. With more advantages comparing with Bitcoin, Bitcoin cash is a potential coin to buy now.

I think of buying back into Komodo it's gone down back to nearly 2$ and I think it will go back to 2,50 soon !
Also I like Litecoin and Monero. Maybe going into Vertcoin also

If I have 10,000$ then I will buy Bitcoin today as the price of it goes down to nearly to $5,999 again as I really trust the future of Bitcoin because I feel it ever since I discovered it last year. Even though many people still thinks that Bitcoin is a bubble or does panic sell their holding it will not affect my belief on it as it is normal for any currency market to have an corrections in price.

The significant thing that I would do is to if I bought $10k worth of Bitcoin is to hold it up until the year 2020 comes to lessen the headaches that may arise for the never ending volatility of it. Anything can happen in the future though and there are positive and negative signs with Bitcoin but it's okay with me to still invest.

If I had 10000 dollars I will buy ETH, BCH and Litecoin. These coins have increased few days ago when Bitcoin down. I believe that their price will go up in next week at least.

There are some countries that are banning ICOs and from what I see it will not make ETH go more than $350, so do not put too many expectations in ETH

With so many geniuses with crystal ball: "bitcoin valera $18000 next year" obviously a poor guy like me will buy btc in hopes of getting more than 200% profit

Hope you know that the price of bitcoin was on a bull run for months and you think that it will keep on moving higher without any correction,the correction we see right now is not because people lost their faith in bitcoin but there are plenty of alts which are good to invest at this moment and the miners from China are playing a big role in manipulating bitcoin and supporting bitcoin cash at the moment.

My personal opinion is that if you don't want to spend a lot of time doing market research and finding which coins you determine to have the best outlook, you should diversify your investment. The reason being is that you are looking at these options as a black box. Ok, so how would I diversify them? Also, do you want risky investments or safe investments? If you are looking for risky investments, you should loop back to my first sentence and actually do your market research to figure out which ones you think have the best outlook. These would likely be smaller altcoins with innovative new technology, active development, a strong team, a large addressable market, and potential for widespread adoption. If you want safe investments, this is an easy call. What we can draw from decades of evaluating stock prices is that generally the most likely stocks (or coins in this case) to increase in price that currently exist will be the ones that continue to increase in value and adoption in the future. Notice that I didn't say "increase the most in price", simply that they will increase. I would take a very simple approach. I would first decide how many different coins I would like to invest in. This could be 5, 10, 15, etc. Second, I would go to a website that evaluates the market cap of each cryptocurrency. Lastly, I would pick the top X as the ones which I will invest in. So, if you said in step one that you would like to diversify to 5 different coins, those current investments would be: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, and Litecoin.

   I do not have $10000, I invest in stages when I have, my goal is to have portfolio
with selected alt-coins in higher worth then $10000, I am working on that.

In the current situation, with the tension of the hard fork (or fake fork) if i have all this money, i should apply my money in other cryptocurrencies, like the ethereum, monero, and even ICO tokens like the UNIVERSA, so, we are in a instability time, and if i need to apply in risk negociations, i will chose the best.

If I have $10k, I am very grateful before .. I will not use it all in investment, maybe I will save $2k and use $8k to invest. I will choose Bitcoin (60%) and Ethereum (40%) as my investments medium, I am sure this is having more power until can gain high profits in a long term.

Bitcoins are quiet expensive but this is much profitable nowadays,  another coins which shows high potentials are etherium and bitcoin cash, If you have a big capital then why don't you try to invest this types of coins, surely it will give you a comfort way of living:)

Having a large amount of money, I would have bought bitcoin, ethereum and qtum.
There are many hard coins. But for a long time I would take btc, eth and qtum.

Are you ignoring the btc completely ? I will always have the top priority in btc coin then rest of the altcoin would follow. Currently XMR, Stellar, ZCASH have fallen and price looks good to buy and keep it for future. If we see some rise in this coin's price you can easily sell off or may continue to hold for the longer term.

If you have 10k dollars it's better if you buy this different coins like waves coin, ethereum ,qtum , komodo , taas ,monero , zcash , dash, litecoin and for sure you will earn big profit in the future. But it depends to you what coin is the best.

At the moment ,btc and ETH prices are decreasing, that would be a chance for you if you believe the price will rise again like me. Or if you want to invest in short term, BCH is also an option, the price of BCH is increasing quite fast and there is no sign of stopping.

I will buy bitcoin and ethereum because there are the two best and have most profitable crypto in long term,But in recent times the bitcoin cash is getting price dump but i don't think it is temporary it can't replace the place of bitcoin and ethereum.I wil buy in the ratio of 1:1 means bitcoin and ethereum for each $5000.And i will never touch the crypto after buy for atleast upto 2025 to get high profits.

Firstly don't put all of your money in just one coin. Secondly set a stop loss limit. Thirdly look for coin with good trade volume.
I think XRP have good potential. If I were you I would definitely have trade XRP and holded it for next couple of months or maybe years.

If I have 10000 usd, I will buy a lot of coins and condense my portfolio well. Because I really believes that condensing your portfolio might give shine on you. It will be a good strategy. Probably this would be the look:

Me too! I can only buy bitcoin. You cannot betray something you are born with. For me, bitcoin was born within me. I cannot just let it go and buy another cryptocurrency. Plus, the value of bitcoin is higher than the other ones. However, I am not able to buy bitcoin with my current state.

For me, bitcoin is a top priority when i make a coin purchase for trading or investment purposes, in my opinion the bitcoin role can not be replaced by other coins now and is the best investment ever, public confidence is still high on bitcoin to do business with bitcoin

I make a mixture for myself and buy several coins. I can also start trading with them on the exchange markets. This may result in profits for me. Storing coins sometimes doesn't help us. They lose value in our wallets.

We better act more active and trade them on the market.

I am much more prefered on investing in altcoins. I will buy some altcoins  that has a great potential in the future just like monaco, pbt and mnx. I want thise coins to be in my wallet atleast a year.

With 10 000 I recommend you to choose two to three cryptocurencies, and take a close aye on them. In the evening make a good analyze, to know what move could made next day.

If you don"t want to trade them, better to put your money in cryptos that have more bigger volume.

Bitcoin is the right choice to make an Investment. We can see that currently Bitcoin prices continue to increase and this we can use to make a profit, I as one of traders would be very happy if you can get a lot of benefits. A huge opportunity is owned by Bitcoin and I will invest a lot of money I have to buy some Bitcoin. With that amount, I would prefer to invest on other coins which has lower price but has good potential to increase in short time. For long term investment it might be worth to buy bitcoin, but you need to be very patient in waiting the price increase till it reach at least xx% as you expect as it wont worth enough if the price is not increasing significantly.

Waves is newer and right now it is small with fewer pumps and also smaller bubble, maybe even no bubble. but ethereum is old, big and in a big bubble. i personally prefer investing in other coins which have the potential for bigger rise not the old ones with potential for either a small rise or a big dump.

besides right now it is best not to buy any altcoin at all. they are all dropping again because bitcoin has started to rise. with $9000 resistance broken the altcoin panic dump will start and last for a while. if you want to invest then do it at the bottom.

Diversify it. Maybe 50% in Bitcoin while the rest will in other altcoins. Let's say $1,000 per altcoin. I will probably pick Humaniq, Matchpool, Vertcoin, NEO and Patientory. Of course you need to read and understand the coins that you are investing especially if you are planning them to long hold.

First of all I would like to wait to have the market of the bitcoin to much stable and will hold money until the price get less flcutuate of the bitcoin Because the fluctuations in the price always results into down in the market of the altcoins .
Now here  I will use 10000$ in the investment in 100+ coins in small small amounts , I will choose those coins which are at very less price and also thier price are low from the average price and also would like to see that coin have that down stable price since one month . And then will make investment them and after that with the small increase in the price of about 10-15% I will sell them , this is really working idea for me always 8)

Still nothing new about bitcoin and altcoins. When btc goes up or goes down...  Alts always dump.  So much disappointed. I am full in btc now.

Yes there should be a proper division in buying a coin that does have a good chance in the future. Because by buying several different coins then it will make us comfortable when there is one coin that we have experienced a significant decrease. It's like a backup and we know all that sometimes there is a time difference and we should be able to sell and buy properly. Every minute is very meaningful because when we are late making decisions then we may be disappointed forever.

I don't use or trade any other coin except Bitcoin but in theory if I have to chose some other coin that would be Ethereum. I think that it has good perspective for the future, the value will rise and it's good investment for the future.
But I wouldn't put 10000$ just at one coin, that is too risky so I would split these funds on Bitcoin and ETH in ratio 70:30.

The most significant precautions is that i will diversify my capital into different investment opportunities in other to avoid uncertainty in the crypto currency world. The major coin to invest my money is Bitcoin 50%, ethereum 20%, Bitcoin Cash 10% and lisk 10% respectively.

Bitcoin of course is a sure banker any day any time. But It also makes sense to buy Ethereum. Hold it and see what happens.

Irrespective of the amount of capital, I would diversify it in at least 12 different altcoins and the proportion would depend on the current value of it (not the price) and long-term holding potential for the same considering the growth. Even though I will have Bitcoins in comparatively large proportion as compared to that of any other coin, I would still buy it during various levels and will try to buy as much as I can in dips. Rest of the portfolio would follow the same rule while buying and it will contain altcoins from top 50 (according to the market capitalization and past performance).

It all depends on the person himself like how is planning the things actually. As far as buying of bitcoin is concerned, I personally would go from buying of bitcoins and that too as soon as I am having this much of money in my pocket that I can actually go for buying of bitcoins.

If you are having this much of capital that you can afford buying of some costly coins like that of bitcoin or ETH, then you have to for sure go for buying of such kind of coins. if i have that much money I just bought a bitcoin it's because bitcoin currency is the most trusted currency at all and the most known of all cryptocurrencies. And I'll sell it in a higher price of money so that I can gain a profit. I hope I have such a huge amount of money to do that.. ;D

Everybody's decision, but if there are $ 10,000 I will invest a lot of money on ETH because this is altcoin is in second place in the coinmarketcap and the number of investors a lot. In the future we will see the explosion of ETH and the price will soon reach $ 2000 in 2018

First of all I'm not in favor of Alternative coins when you have the choice of Bitcoin. Secondly if someone is still wants to go for the first one then I think there are options which are far better than deep onion. Bitcoin cash is making a good progress these days.

However, it will be much better to go far something more reliable like Ethereum but honestly, if you want to make the most profit in small time, you must go for bitcoin.

Probably 50% bitcoin, 30% Eth and with the remaining, I'll buy smaller or cheaper alts like Ripple and Nem.
Because now I feel long term is the way to go with crypto currencies, it definitely gives you better ROI.

I would probably buy bitcoins because if you were just watching and observing the market, obviously the bitcoin always standout. And most of the people here deals with bitcoins than altcoin, litecoin and etc. and aside from that, bitcoin is currently the most trusted cryptocurrency. You just have to listen to others advice and come up with a conclusion.

for now, I still think of buying bitcoin. although the price is very high, and has a considerable risk. I feel that bitcoin still has a great chance to have a high price. if you have a lot of money, I still buy bitcoin for now.

I just bought a coin in bittrex and then I just traded it to another coin but I usually buy the bcc because the bcc is fast and it's fast so fast is the bcc because other coin is also fast and can also be double your money case I just do not know how much coin is rising but I just focus on a coin but I also buy eth, ltc, omg and zcash so I earn $100 per month.

i'd probably put it all in btc... year 2018 it will be worth $20k.. ;)

all because of the coin in trading that I'm selling all I'm trying to do, it's not as bad as all coin is available so try all crypto currency coin, it's important to get a bigger profit. But often I buy also ltc, bcc, omg and ethereum so I avoid losing money because my coin is legit. I also earn a lot of money every week on trading.

If I have $10000, I will spend 8000$ to invest in Bitcoin, with the rest I will choose good ICO projects to invest such as Livestars, Spectre,...
