Don’t worry the whole community think in the same way as you are thinking right now. No one is going to support BCH in middle of no where when it just got pumped to double the initial prices. I mean that is clear cut pumped price and market cap which can not last forever and big plays in the crypto field knows that very well. People will not fall for this today and you will see the hard fall in BCH price in couple of days surely. Im pretty sure those getting into BCH at this point will loose hard so better decision is to stay in the bitcoin blockchian and wait for its hard pump again. The golden period is here and yet you are no where. Come on guys stop the non sense of supporting the BHC. lol. 

You don't have to buy Bitcoin Cash. A lot of people have received "free" Bitcoin Cash, since it was a fork. Some of that will hit the market now, given how much it has risen in value. Just give it a bit of time.

If you feel the market is mispricing a certain asset you should jump in. This isn't  competition where a clear winner will emerge. You dont need to pick sides. You need just to make good decisions to make money.

I won't buy BCH also. Things were very suspicious. All the tweets and posts I've read sqying BCH will be the new bitcoin. Like wow, it's only from the fork, and now it wants to replace the original.

Look, I'm not an expert in blockchain tech. But I know a bit about economics and business it would be insane for chinese mining syndicates to not orchestrate this kind of action when they have the power to do so.

i will not buy bitcoin cash either because i have already bought it when it was low. that is how you make profit, you invest at the bottom not after price went in a bubble. then you wait for the pump to come and sell at a right time before other whales start dumping. and the inevitable crash comes. and you go back to bitcoin. 8)

and bitcoin cash is another good source for earning bitcoin. just like ETH, DSH, LTC, XRP and lots of others. they get pumped a lot and most of them are big pumps with a lot of profit in them.

From what I see in the market the bitcoin and BCH are really gonna cross each other and it may happen that they will stabilised at some point. But, there is not much possibility for the BCH to cross the Bitcoin and get higher ranking in the market. It will drop down surely.

i think you should think again when bitcoin cash can give you huge profit from the pumping of the big whales, we keep little of bitcoin cash when it at the cheap price and sell it when it reach to the top, and come back to bitcoin when bitcoin cash is dumped by big whales, so we should be flexible in order to earn the money in this cryptocurrencies

It should also be noted that the market cap of Bitcoin Cash currently provided by Coinmarketcap is not real. I bet that many people don't know or didn't bother to get BCH from the fork, or just bough some Bitcoin for long term holdings and even do not follow cryptos, so don't even know they have some BCH. So it's quite possible that large amount of BCH is frozen/dead. The real (i.e. in use) number of BCH coins thus might be much lower, and so is the real market cap.

I can understand that you're against Bitcoin cash and so am I, in the initial days I did not consider taking them, but you need to rise over sentiments, remember if you haven't claimed them with your balance on Aug 1st you yet can claim them, I am planning to do the same. Claim them and sell them of for Bitcoins, that's the most logical move to do, in the end we need money and and more bitcoin so take my advice claim free bcc and sell for btc

Even it Bitcoin cash would overtake regular Bitcoin that'd be shitty for you, cause it will completely kill the potential for a blockchain-currency becoming a true world currency at valuation of millions. It will namely confuse the shit out of the general public and the great majority will stop investing; Bitcoin cash will never be able to reach the potential that regular Bitcoin is able to achieve. No taxi driver's mom is or will ever be googling "Buy bitcoin cash". If Bitcoin cash would have some feature that regular Bitcoin truly lacks, then we're all better offer having another fork on the regular Bitcoin to fix that.

So am I. I only see this pump of BCH as a pump and dump attempts. I pity those newbie who will fall to this trap and get dumped in the end. I do not see anything new in BCH that merits it to be in this price range. Only those who are trading daily can get the right profit in this pump because they monitor this closely and can dump if the price is moving the opposite way.

I do not recommend buying these coins even for speculation. It seems to me that now is the time to sell bitcoin for cash. I have not heard anyone seriously the coin which is all distributed for free. Now all who would panic sell bitcoins and buy the coin which then will not need anyone. I'll hold bitcoin even if the price will continue to decline.

As we see in the market place that,  the bitcoin and bch are really going to cross each other. But, there is no possibility for the bch to cross the Bitcoin and get high ranking in the market place. It will surely drop down. So don't want to buy BCh now.

I for one would rather move to ETH than Bitcoin Cash, although from the FUD and hype it does seem an aggressive push to push Bitcoin off the top block has occurred I don't think its that simple. That's right. The very fact that it is premeditated and coordinated has made me really loathe these guys. They all claim to be the real Bitcoin and thump the Satoshi whitepaper like it's a bible and yet they don't seem to realise that they're making a scornful take on it with all this talk about money, prices, and how Bitcoin has held back the price from 10k or 20k or whatever magic number they come up with.

But we can give suggestion that they should not withdraw the bitcoins or any altcoins unnessaryly that will make them loose money when the coin value reached to peak. Now bitcoin cash is been supported by the one of the giant miner so their value started increasing now but bitcoin will get the support in mining since the widely usage. Chill out man, you should spread love and not with those type of words. We knew what will come to bitcoin after this crazy increase to bitcoin cash, I think it will get some decent stability and floor price but after that everyone who earned that much with BCH will be getting back to bitcoin. And by that time happens, it's a comeback to the market of bitcoin. We should wait for majority miners to get back to bitcoin as we are all experiencing a big trouble with delayed confirmations.

I am not interested in buying bitcoin cash, but at least I will keep saving the ones I received during the hardfork. It's true that maybe I lost the great opportunity to sell it at the best price possible in its history, when it reached a peak of $2,600, but I still believe that the conspiracy against Bitcoin will continue for a long time and it is possible that BCH will again approach the line of $2,000.

Anyway, it's always good to keep increasing my bitcoins when these opportunities arise.

I will keep myself from this coin. If we get it during the fork and holding it as free money from the fork it is ok then. Otherwise I woould sell it on any pump. They may try to pump it because of mining cost but we don't know will they continue to mine it or not. Wild west, no regulation, Every whale can manipulate their own coin hard.

Personally I consider highest price of BCH as a potential growth of BTC for the next year. So if cash achieve 2k then I will expect BTC about 8k later next year. But this fall was a paradise for traders and BTC owners.

This is not a low quality post to me. But I don't think I will not buy Bitcoin Cash ever. I cannot promise that, much less swear. I am a person who is trying to make a big profit in cryptocurrencies. I don't care really whether I am investing in a shitcoin or a legit coin for as long as I am making a certain profit. But I still believe that all these shitcoins should be gone. But since they are here, I might as well create some money from their shit movements. When Bitcoin Cash touches $400, once again, or even lower, I might also grab some.

It was the first ever bitcoin fork and happened on 1 august 2017. It was very amazing, in the second day I sold my BCH for 0.4 BTC. It was a right decission if we neglect the last BCH pump done by jihan wu and roger ver.

I’d add here: the insane raise of Bitcoin cash was a planned before provocation to destabilize Bitcoion and let people, who do not understand many things to exchange their BTC into Bitcoin Cash. The wisest ones did not buy this altcoion and they did the right thing!

What's interesting is how BTC takes a little dip every time BCH goes below 1200, it is ALWAYS bought from BTC.

Could it be that the reason they dumped so high was just the first step, to stack enough money to buy everything below 1200, so that 1200usd becomes the bottom & the coin feels more & more solid?

You're the one who only decides if you're going to buy Bitcoin Cash or not but the important is you'll be investing your own hard worked money into the investment that you love. In my personal view, I consider myself on investing Bitcoin Cash because it has already a number of investors and large scale miners that are still showing positive responses from the users and coin holders.

This is quite funny. It's less than a week and people are starting to dump. Look at the bitcoin now, as of writing, 10% has added in its price from the last 24 hrs. Bitcoin Cash is still an alt, not the real bitcoin.

There are a lot of people who trust the bitcoin cash, but I think it will never be a coin as bitcoin.

The thing is, Bitcoin Cash doesn't scale well either. The bigger the block size is and the shorter the block time is, the more network bandwidth, computational power and storage space is required to run a full node, especially under the full load. And systems that get too demanding to run under the full load cannot be described with words "scales well". This is particularly true for decentralized systems. Empty mempool is not everything.

The thing is that I dont't trust bitcoin cash and I won't ever buy it. Maybe, I'll mine it, if it's profitable. Otherwise, there is no reason for me to invest money in it. It's very risky.

I also think that the original bitcoin has become extremely slow, it no longer performs the function of a payment medium through a small bandwidth, and as a result, its transactions are increasingly hanging. At the same time, these defects are devoid of bitcoin in cash. Therefore, I see no reason to support a disabled person who does not want to recover. I think that in time this will be understood by those who are so fiercely defending the outdated in all respects bitcoin. Why only Bitcoin Cash? There is no guarantee of any Altcoin that will be profitable for short term.  If you plan long term than you may quit in short term on profit.

Well BCH is not a long term coin like Bitcoin. You can buy this Coin at low price but then sell it as soon as you see  some growth in price and take the profits. If you keep for very long term, we never know if BCH will be a total failure. I would suggest to treat Bitcoin cash like an Altcoin and not as a bitcoin.

Because BCash is a fraud that should be avoided and left for dead.

I actually have holded on my Bitcoin Cash and I am happy I've done that. I think there is space for both and it does have community support which cannot be said of other forks.

Just because it was pumped by  some greedy scam artists like Roger and Jihan doesn't mean that it has potential..  The coin is literally being used to manipulate the market.  I would never go near it.  Eventually it will be dumped on peoples heads and a lot of people will be left with heavy bags.

I support your stance on bitcoin cash but the unfortunate thing is free market doesn't differentiate. The market is an open market and many trader and investors will buy it that is why it should not have been created in the first place.

Given you mentioned that the free market exists then why should bitcoin cash not have been created? Was it not in fact a creation of such a free market? While it may not be good for bitcoin in terms of having a diluted market share it is good for competition and offers an alternative to some who need it.

Bitcoin cash is very volatile and insecure coin, some people call it Jihan coin but I am pretty satisfied with it (brought me nice profit last 30days or so). I invested certain funds in BCH at 416$ price, sold it at 630 or stg. Shame on me I didn't see what is coming next.

I totally agree on never buying bitcoin cash. Today i got an email about bitcoin-cash and i understand that they just started to spam-scam people with emails that saying bitcoin is going sub 1000$ and real bitcoin is bitcoin cash. this is very cheap speculation method and will never work for me.

In a country there has been a rule about BTC and BtH. Bitcoin can be a positive response by the government but not with bitcoin cash is a special ban against bitcoin cash that should not be used for transactions. It is written that bitcoin cash is not valid for use. hence from that despite the increase in price i think bitcoin cash will fall one day later. There is no solid foundation to support the cash back stand.

You could be right, but I do not agree with your statement that it will rise soon. Bitcoin cash is a great coin on paper, but the fact that it is being pumped and dumped regularly by a small group of people makes it somewhat centralized which is something I dislike a lot and goes against the core concept based on which bitcoin was created in the first place. Bitcoin cash may even rise to a new ATH in the future, but that does not justify the way it is being used to manipulate the crypto market.

It is, but remember no other coin has Bitcoin traffic, though Ethereum might be close. And as far as BCH 8mb blocks goes, if the blocks were always full, it would cost you several terabytes of network bandwidth per month to run a full node not to mention huge storage requirements as well as increased computational requirements as bigger blocks requires more CPU to be verified. In other words, running the full node would be prohibitively expensive for a regular user. This is a security issue for regular users as running a full node is always more secure than using light wallets and SPV (with SPV you have to trust the server you're connecting to some degree) as it is a security issue for entire network as smaller the number of full nodes is the less decentralized network. Also, it's worth pointing out that system that gets too demanding to run under the full load doesn't scale well. So block size increase does not solve scalability issue.

I think this is the right time to invest in BCH. There's a rumour saying that China miners said that they wanted to make the price of bitcoin cash to surpass bitcoin. I don't know if this rumour is true though, but as you can see, it went up $1000 + since last month. I personally believe the price will still rise even more.

I don't see anything wrong investing in bitcoin cash, what's wrong is to transfer your bitcoin to it. Since then I have multiple investment some are in etherium and other alternative coin. I dont want to miss the sudden pump if value of any coin. But still most of my funds are hold and stored in bitcoin. You don't have to buy Bitcoin Cash because it's already expensive, instead of Bitcoin Cash you'll be supposed to invest in Ethereum and other top Altcoins because they're worth on investment and rather support other coins and not Bitcoin Cash. Yes agree with you it depends on the users, many people are investing in BCH because they get profit on it thats why i can say that this coin is good to invest also. XRP and Ethereum is much established coins here in crypto world and i recommend to hold them for long period of time i also include XEM coin.

And lightning network is being worked on for quite some time, and this is the reason those assholes are pimping BCH with lies, lightning network will make less money for miners. This is the only reason BCH exists, it doesn't have segwit, thus won't have lightning network, thus ensures more money for miners.

You will pay more than that *if* the BCH ever gets the success of BTC.

But just inform yourself, instead of trusting Roger's lies. Go to any historical chart of BTC transaction prices, according to volume. Check today's BCH transaction volume & price. Now find where in history BTC had the same volume as BCH, and check which price it had. Yes, it was CHEAPER.

BCH avg volume for january: 40k. Avg fee: 0.3 usd.

When did BTC have a volume of 40k? January 2013. And what was the avg fee at that time? 0.01 usd!
Until Jan 2017, the BTC's avg fee was lower than today's BCH fee. And yet until that time it had 250k avg transactions/day.


So if you love the BCH, you should do your best to keep it unpopular, because the day it will be popular, you're gonna pay more than for BTC for transactions. Blocks being just twice larger won't change much to that. You -really- thought that increasing blocks by just 2 was the magical key to make BCH tx fees 100x cheaper?

It's stupid to "buy" stuff using BTC or BCH, anyway. Why buy a pizza today for the price of 10 pizzas next year? If you pay in fiat, next year it'll still be more or less the same price, so use fiat. And if you tell me "but.. just buy more BCH after you've paid".. then just pay for your pizza in fiat in the first place, and you won't have to buy more BCH.. using fiat, and pay twice instead of once.
And if you just wanna pay your pizzas in BCH for the only reason that you're hiding money from your country, just use paper money.. no one knows you have it, and it won't leave any trace.
"Merchants" aren't gonna accept crypto seriously, anyway. Not until one is stable enough, and they're far far from it. Merchants have to pay their bills, and for their goods. They don't pay that in crypto, they pay that in stable fiat. They don't want to lose their business because of a -80% crash. The only that did accept BTC so far did it for publicity, and most likely converted to fiat immediately. I'm quite sure they used services that did just that, anyway. And they never saw the color of any BTC, they got fiat straight from that service.
You've paid for your pizza in BCH 2 weeks ago, and now the shop has to pay its bills using your BCH that's now worth what, half of that. He'd better have a big enough margin to compensate!

As well as we all knows that everyone wants to leave their money in a profitable platform. But as the prices of BCH starts falling, many started pulling their money out. And ever since then the price of BCH haven't been encouraging, although i still believe in bitcoin than BCH. :)

I for one welcome it, useful at least until Bitcoin’s transaction fees become sane. Bitcoin cash has its place now. It is widely supported but i don’t think it will overthrow botcoin unless they make some other significant development than a simple block size increase.
