I just need few minutes of your time and your opinion on

What name is more suitable for an exchange.

- Bitrav.com
- Bitelk.com
- Bitruby.com
- Bitdoro.com
- Bitzug.com
- Bitsphinx.com

Please, I am not involved in this project, just trying to help a contact of mine on BitcoinMarkets to find a decent name, and I think there is no better than the bitcoin community to get honest feedbacks.

I like very short names, because it is easy to remember and quick to type. There are a lot of Phishing attempts and it would be better if you could shorten the name, to prevent these Phishing/Spoof sites. The longer the name, the easier it will be for these people to spoof the domain name.

I hope this will help you. I avoid spoof sites by typing the whole address and the longer it is, the easier it is to make a typo.

Bitruby sounds the best - nice for the ear and easy to pronounce and memorize :)

I voted for Bitruby but after thinking twice I prefer Bitelk

I think bitruby and bitelk sounds really nice.
But after a short thinking time in my opinion bitelk sounds better, because bitruby sounds like a casino or gambling site.
With a good logo, maybe a elk ;D.
The exchanger could be get a good recognition factor.

To be honest , non of the name from the list actually sounds like a mainstream exchange name , it's more like an exchange from certain country with a different language

if you forget about .com, you can find some good names. But .com is still the leader, also it has effect in google search. I didnt checked, but probably all of those have no .com available

I agree with ^^ you need to find a .com until something like a WEB 3.0 comes out - google search will either love you or leave you -- any exchange with BIT in it sounds overdone imho BTC

Bitsphinx sounds very interesting to me. The name gives an impression that it is one of a kind and people will never forget it. The other names are lame and used many times in crypto-related stuffs.

Biteruby would probably be the best one among the other options.

It might good to choose a suitable name for their website if they put something like a catchy name to it. That explain also of what their vision and mission to it.
I guess Bitruby is a little bit catchy name compared to others and could be easily to remember since it is most likely a common name. 
Tell your friend that everyone might suggest a good name for it if you let them to choose too.  ;)

Understanding the difference between name1 and name2 is crucial (They all build character) while trying to choose your way of making name for cryptocurrency exchange.

I also voted for Bitruby.com, it's more nicer to hear than all of the choices. But can I suggest a good name? I think Bitphase.com is also a good name, I don't know if it will fit that certain project of your friend or whatever you called him but I think it is more simple than all of the choices.

I vote Bitruby.com as well but as others have suggested, your tagline is going to be the most important element if you are going to properly convey what service you are providing. This is especially important when you look at Google search listings and the snippets as "exchange" is not part of your domain name.

Bitsphinx.com would be my 1st choice and the 2nd one would be Bitruby.com because those names our quiet catchy and appealing which would really suit for a new exchange. Its good to hear out that someone do have plans to make an exchange which is good for having more option on making trades into our coins. Just tell your contact after deciding out the name to be given since the community already have voted.They should really focus on the security of the exchange because this is the main concern on most traders before they would decide to use the site and also Support is one of they key.

It will depend on the nationality of your target market.
The character combinations as well as the sound of the url can be differently viewed per person.

Choose BitRuby for it's the most neutral name among the list.
Plus you can use the gem's (Ruby) theme as a bonus.

Bitsphinx is amazing and it sounds technically good.

To me, Bitruby and Bitsphinx sound interesting and quite solid. Others are... strange in a way, they're not so catchy and memorable. Good luck to your friend with the project!

i think im going to Bitsphinx.com sounds very unique and attractive,and

Do you want a name start with bit♦only?all aboce names are difficult to pronounce for non native speake.Find a name that is short and easy to pronounce and spell

I like Bitruby because its the most familiar that the majority will recognize from those other options in the poll. And easy flow to pronounce.

Bitruby and Bitsphinx are the names that caught my attention and the others doesn't sound anything special to it. Please use either of the two because I'm pretty sure people  will be turned off if you use the other names.

I think bitmoney isn't a bad name for an exchange too right?

Everything except Bitruby sounds pretty bad, so I think you should choose Bitruby.com :)

I like this name for exchange Bitruby.com. Easily remembered. I also voted for this exchange name.

I Choose bitruby.com because its more appealing, more easier to memorize and most people knows ruby as precious stone as the site suits for exchange.

I've chosen Bitruby. Bitelk is pronounced kind of similar to Bittrex and this is not good.
However I would suggest you not to use the beginning "Bit" because there are already too many exchanges with that (Bittrex, Bitfinex, Bitstamp, Bitmarket)

I am contemplating whether to go for Bitelk or Bitruby, but in da end i still choose Bitelk.
I understand the sentiment of this guy. Bitelk sounds cool, yet we only need to modify it. Like change it to BitTech, which can mean that Bitcoin and Technology coexist hand in hand. BitTech can also signify that through the fast development in technologies nowadays, Bitcoin should be accepted to compensate for that drastic change.

when i first check the thread and went through all the listed site. i thought they are gambling site. in choosing domain you have to blend two things (1) cryptocurrency and (2) trade or exchange which means you are trading or exchanging cryptocurrency. i can see all the names start with bit. are you intending to exchange bitcoin alone? if no then 'coin' will be perfect replacement for 'bit' being used. i have few name suggested you may want to consider them
