Title: ICOcritic.org looking for ICO reviewers
Post by: smartJEV on November 15, 2017, 04:50:39 PM
Hello guys!

Our project was very well appreciated by the community. Our traffic is consistently growing.

We are looking for some team members, who will help with ICO reviews.

It perfectly fits you if you investing in ICOs. Most Time consuming part is project analysis. You need 5-6 hours to investigate project and 5 minutes to write your insights. So if you are investor, you will still spend those 5-6 hours to investigate a project you interested in, but you also will be awarded from our project for extra 5 minutes you write your insights about it. We will provide review/rating model (wireframe) which will also help you to make right decision while choosing ICO to invest in. This cooperation is beneficial for both sides.

Revenue share with reviewers. We have a 40% revenue pool which is sharable with reviewers, considering how many reviews you made (counted every month).
Example: now we have 10 reviews in total. Till the end of the month you will make 10 more reviews (in total we will have 20), so you will get 50% from the pool. Even if you dont write any more reviews next month, and somebody else will make 10 reviews (30 in total), you will still get 33.3% from a monthly pool.

50% of revenue goes to project development. 10% to the founders.

If you interested, PM.

In reality ICO's should be pooling money together in the beginning so that they can actually pay people in BTC or ETH. The chance of you getting a good review for your token/coin is very low. Just my opinion, when I see a company do something like this I automatically wont invest. If your project is not good enough to spend your own money on it, then others wont want to spend their money buying the token. You need to get some skin in the game. This just sounds like another project that is just trying to take advantage of a token or coin offering.

I dont see how my message could have been mistaken as spam if that is what you are saying.

Edit: My fault, I was confused when I read the OP and thought you were talking about ICO reviewers for your ICO. However my message still applys to your site, you should pay people instead of give them revenue shares or a affiliation program. If you get some skin in the game and build a budget to pay out good reviewers, you will receive a better result.

I am saying, you should create a budget for this project yourself. Keep 100% of the revenue the site makes, and pay people to post there reviews on your site. Instead of offering a "Revenue share with reviewers. " which doesnt seem logical. Your project is your baby, you shouldnt want to give away a percentage of it until you are nearing the scaling phase.

People who invest to ICOs reviewing projects anyway. Most Time consuming here is project analysis, not writing few insights. This cooperation is beneficial for both parts, its not just trying to find any cheap working power.

What is stopping scammers from hiring a bunch of people to do positive rating/reviews on their scam ICO and using your

platform to scam people? We have seen this with Gambling rating/reviews sites before. It only takes one incident like this

and people losing a bunch of money to seal your fate. I hope you include some disclaimers on your site to warn visitors and

also to cover your ass.  ;)

Sure thing, you talk about basics.. you could visit site, before writing this ;)  We not pushing anybody to invest, we always warn that investment in ICO is extremely risky.

We are very carefully checking profiles of people who want to join the project, for now we have a very strong and reputable team, who are investors themselves. After this post we got about 10 messages from people who want to join a project, but I guess nobody will pass our reputation requirements.

We also making audits of each other. Checking every new review. But in any way, everybody must think before they do any action. Somebody can find our insights useful (we got very positive feedback from majority of users), somebody not. But it always good to have "another opinion".
