I'd like to thank you for such an awesome site.  I'm pretty new to playing online.  I tried it a while back a few times but no many. I was nervous playing because of all the different terms like rake and free roll etc..

But after playing a few hands on yahoo cards to practice.  I played at BitsPoker and it was very straight forward.  I've still got alot to learn but I think I'll learn as the site evolves.  So yeah thanks the easy to use site!

You may have caught us while we were doing some small 'restructuring'. We process transactions continuously.
We are among the first websites to implement Inputs.io, we will probably add an option  in the future to also withdraw using Inputs.io.

We've been a bit quiet because we are in the process of doing some massive upgrades. Most of the work has been done, such as an html5 client(players can now play from Android, iOS or any html5 capable device).
I'll post some updates really soon.

The deposits/withdraws are now working, the site has been updated, and there is now a freeroll running once again. We are on a better server and have added lower stakes ring tables, with the lowest rake in the industry. Cyrus will post a full update soon. In the meantime, come check us out!

HTML5 client looks great, flash stuff always heat a lot my laptop.

The site is showing "Connecting..." on a black screen all the time on iOS. Is there something wrong? My username is "biz".

Connected just fine last night and today from an iOS device.
Does the problem still occur? Does somebody else experience this?

Are you using a iPhone, or iPad? I've tried with stock Safari browser and also 3rd party browsers on iPad.

Maybe my internet connection is just acting up, I don't know.

I tested using an iPhone 4 and 3GS, using Safari browser.
There shouldn't be a problem playing from anything that has html5 and javascript capabilities.

Big chance it's just your internet connection, but please keep us posted if you still have problems and we'll look into it ASAP.

Yeah, I think there is something wrong with the connection. All sites are loading fine, except for Bitspoker, which is painfully slow. I am trying this on PC, and it is the same. I've been timed out of the freeroll 2 times already (10 secs timeout) so you can imagine it is very laggy.

When I was playing on Bitspoker a couple of days ago, it was normal, so I don't know what changed. Perhaps it's the new 'better' server?

A couple of days ago meaning before the new client? Or after?
We'll look into in the course of today and do some speed optimizations.

Using the flash client (old one), the connection was normal a few days ago. I couldn't find anyone to play with yesterday, so I don't know about that.

I saw the new html5 client earlier on a different computer, is it the one with resizable/movable windows? I am using the flash client right now, I don't know why it is displaying on my laptop instead of the new one (maybe because i have a touchscreen)

Just now, I submitted a turn, and it is still flashing the yellow box to indicate that it is still my turn. That was a minute ago or more, and it still hasn't finished loading. Pretty slow.

Well, there is no more flash client, it had been replaced entirely with the html5 one.

As you can see, when you connect from a mobile device, you are automatically redirected to the Mobile client, if you login from a Desktop, the normal client is loaded. This can also be changed from the settings, if for any reason you want to switch to Mobile/Desktop clients.

Also, we made another small update to the poker software last night. Some players(including me) have probably seen en error telling them to empty the cache, because there is a new client. That is completely normal.

The lag is gone today, it must have just been a slow connection. How often do freerolls take place? Is it every 24 h?

You can find it in Tournaments > Top 5 Paid 5 GTD. Only 1 chip buy-in, 4 min levels, 1500 starting chips, fast but balanced blinds structure and the top 5 are paid 5 chips each.

Are you posting player balances in this thread? That's no good imo. Might want to think about removing that.

You are probably referring to the balances that shown on the first page. Those were balances during the Beta promotion and the leaderboard was public, top 3 players during the contest won some BTC prizes.
We, of course, wouldn't post absolutely no personal information about our players, ever.

Great site love playing poker here my only complaint is how slow the tournament blinds go up especially compared to other poker sites. My one suggestion would be to lower the time limit from 10 minutes especially on the free rolls.

We feed from your feedback, freeroll structure will be tinkered soon.

Update on the freeroll blinds structure. They have been changed to 7 minutes.

We're glad you enjoy it! Saw your e-mail and replied/sent out your withdrawal. The withdraws are having some issues as our coder has been reworking the systems.

Good news is deposits are working as they should when you use the supplied bitcoin address, and we still have the lowest stakes/lowest limits in Bitcoin poker land so there is good reason to deposit and play. Note however, one confirmation is required before you see your deposit in your account.

It was great to open my comp this morning and see that I received my withdraw already.

No more freerolls available?

We're new and in an experimental stage with the freerolls at this moment. One of the experiments was offering the freerolls as a way to bring activity to the site, but the result of that experiment wasn't good on any level, so we turned them off for a little while. Now we've put up an hourly 1 chip winner take all freeroll. Before, it was a bankroll builder type of thing, this one is more for players who want to try the software for free, now they have a tournament they can do so with. I guess if players want to try to make a living off of it, they can attempt that as well.

I think the problem with this and most similar poker sites is that players abuse the freerolls and do not play ring games which eventually leads to site bankruptcy. Probably, one way to push players to play ring games is points system: you got points only playing ring games and then you can withdraw only when you have certain amount of points. Another way is completely separate real and "play" money. But sites based on $29-$99 software are very limited and can not be customized easy.
I honestly tried to play on bitcoinpokerleague.net in rings games (trying to get some points), but one by one all players left the site. But still, because of points, I played those rings.

Is there any way to get a withdrawal from here without reaching the minimum?

I have ~30 chips on my account with this site, but with the minimum for withdrawal being 50 chips, and no one playing, I have no way to get my stack up high enough for withdrawal..

Any help here admin?

You could try to deposit 20 more chips, and withdraw 50 chips, if that's allowed.

I use Firefox (actually, Waterfox, which is a 64-bit version of Firefox). Can you describe what isn't working for you? Thanks.

The problem is that when I click on the play button I see the progress bars animation in the middle of the page but then it disappears and nothing happens, nothing loads. I disabled my add blocker btw.

The client is pure html5 and some javascript. Are you blocking JS in your browser?
Other than that, I see no reason why it wouldn't get passed the loading bar.

We have a new Freeroll structure. There are now three different types of freerolls: NLHE, PLO and PLO8. We also added longer levels, which means there will be 10 minutes per level, this way no-shows will have more time to show up. Also be aware that freerolls run at :30 after the hour now.

A bitcoin poker room has been hacked today. We advise all players that use the same user/password combination on various poker rooms to change their password imediately!

I need my withdraw. This is ridiculous. I have been patient, pmd the starter of this thread, asked in the poker site chat, sent a pm to the owner on grindabit, and all ignored. I have shit to do with my btc. Wtf is up?

I also emailed admin@bitspoker. No responses at all.

Something special for BitsPoker ring table grinders, and a few changes and updates:

1) 0% Rake on All Ring Tables!
0% Rake on all our "Ring" game tables. We have .15/.30 all the way up to 100/200! That's right, absolutely 0% rake will be taken from each pot. This will be until the foreseeable future.

2) Sunday GTD:
The Sunday GTD will no longer go down. Although we know there some big fans of it, we do not see it molding in with the bigger picture we have at this point.

3) Freerolls:
Regularly running freerolls will end at the end of 2013. This doesn't mean we won't have the occasional freeroll (maybe a Grindabit freeroll here or there, such as the 1000 Chip Freerolls we have had a couple of times before.)

4) SSL coming soon:
We'll install SSL on our servers very soon. This will require brief (15 minutes) downtime.
