Any ideas on which altcoins will moon in 2018?

Current recommendations are:

XSPEC (projected to become the third biggest privacy coin behind Monero and ZCash)
XRB (projected to become bigger than IOTA in 2018)
NEO (projected to reach 0.06 BTC by end of 2018)

Please suggest some more!

HDAC too, but sad the presale was too attractive to join crowdsale now.

Crave will do well I'm sure.  High return masternode coin with a low coin circulation, check it out.  Also PIVX - because of it's privacy focus and high transaction speeds.

Well for me, My recommendations are as follows: Zcash, Bitcoincash, Monero, Dash, Neo, Bitconnect, Byteball Bytes, Populous and OmiseGo, I guess there's a lot more who had made a good path based on its statistic from its previous performance.

Only one truth — coin that will moon in 2018 is unknown in 2017.

0x (ZRX) no doubt. Bitfinex's decentralised exchange is being built on their protocol and they do around $300m volume a day

I find it difficult if I have to give the opinion of Altcoin which has high prospect level because at the moment I only trust Etherum as one of Altcoin which have good quality level to be made Investment. Instead of wanting to underestimate other digital currencies, but if you see the facts we can notice that most Altcoin always experience a rapid and stable price changes. and if calculated then only Etherum alone has a good level of stability. So all of these choices depend on yourself because I know that it is ourselves that will determine the future that we will achieve.

I feel Ethereum has potential, and Ripple too!!!
Can't wait for those to gain value!

I believe in the potential of NEO. China is a very large country both in terms of population and territory. If support at a high level is obtained, it seems to me that it'll moon in 2018.

I believe that about the crypterium will be the next moon token in the future, a lot of people are interested and already participated in the crowdsale. and it seems to be a very good altcoin for the watch in the next year.
professional team and proper whitepaper seem to be a real evidence for that.

A rising tide will lift all boats. I think we will see new all time highs in all valuable altcoins in 2018.

Just make sure that you buy no scam and you will make profit if you are patient enough.

Bitconnect is not just hype - it is almost guaranteed to be a ponzi scheme like every other HYIP scam.
It has been going on for awhile and people are making money off it but once the flow of new money into the scam slows down the whole thing will shut down (perhaps with a story about being hacked).

I like the potential of WTC, ARK, VTC, OMG  

Personally i'm strongly looking at NEM...since last year it has grown from $0.004819/coin to $0.94135 in 1 year...thats over 190% growth...and i feel it will do better in 2018

I think ripple is one of those coins which can show tremendous growth in future. It is a project based upon the idea of global value transfer and many companies & banks are adopting this platform for fund transfers.
CIVIC is another project which has tremendous potential and can show good amount of growth in the coming years. The project is very unique and is based upon the idea of IDENTITY VERIFICATION. The team of the project is also very strong.

I think many. Only need more fiat to crypto pairs and many people will starting to buy.

OmiseGO will be huge in 2018 i think, their roadmap has a lot of stuff for the next year. I'm also betting huge on ARK and LISK, even though i don't own any of these yet (going to buy on the next dip and hold for the next year).

And Ethereum, i think that goes without saying that 2018 is gonna be insane for eth :P

The growth of NEO will continue. Rumors about NEO for today:
- Bittrex will add GAS, and will charge it to all neo holders.
- Bithumb will add a neo on Wednesday or Thursday.
- China will allow ICO only on the basis of neo
- China will prohibit mining of btc, but will leave bcc and NEO
- For NEO will provide a state grant and developers.
- China will do everything to Korea, too, passed from air to NEO.
 But to believe or not your decision.

Maybe I will choose NEO because it is a good project in terms of technology and project development is separate. NEO gives me a sense of security by the efforts of the project team

The upcoming year 2018 has been expected to be the year of altcoins and in a thread it's stated that ethereum shows good price pumping as it is found almost in a stable manner throughout the year. Upon which I too have the hope that ethereum will increase high than many other altcoins that are available in the market.

I'm think it will be Qtum, OMG.  Also NEM look's good despite it  down trend movement now.

I think dash is one that will moon. Especially with evolution coming onto mainnet next year. We are seeing huge price gains already since beginning of the year.
Neo would be one, alot of huge news and south east asia will be supporting this chain. So as neo moons gas will also be right along side in price gains..
Eos looks like its on a bullish run lately. Alot of blockchain tokens are taking off.

I think Waves and NEO has potential to go to moon. I also follow waves tokens and I can suggest MRT token if you are using dex.

I think ethereum. They are going to switch to POS in 2018.

You are right about believing, its our decision to believe or not. NEO is a coin that people talk about a lot in recent months, and Chinese are doing something crazy as we all can see, it wouldn`t be surprise for me if they ban bitcoin mining and leave NEO and some other coins like ethereum or bitcoin cash. Looks like you investigated this pretty good, and I like informations that you dig up. Until now I didn`t buy any NEO but I will do that, that is a promising coin, and its not only you, every second comment has NEO in it.
Believing or not works for all coins new and old one.

Zcash for me, outside ETH and BTC, but Iota and Santiment have had big gains recently. Although OmiseGo is promising also

Platform coin like ether neo and waves will go farther then the  moon in 2018

well said waves will give us a surprise in next year. still they are making this project very strong, so we have to wait for some time, but as you said next year, it will grow fast. And IOTA is also good coin for a long time you can make a profit.

I bet on Wabi. It is a brilliant idea of using the blockchain to monitor data in real time of products during transportation or even during their shelf life. This is achieved with RFID chips similar to what Waltonchain is doing. They are first targeting the baby food market but it will expand to other markets as well. They have an all-star team and partnerships in China.

I'll bet on NEO and Waves, solid projects.

Also, it is the fastest coin that I have used so far, it took 2-4 seconds from the exchange to the wallet. Guys, do you know a faster coin?

XLM or stellar will be the best coin in 2018. The price jumped after cooperation with some big companies. Stellar now still moon. In the early 2018, the price still increasing until mid 2018 in my prediction. If you have 100-500 USD you 'd better invest in stellar.

Wabi was a useful one but I will say ethereum and binance. The only chance in wabi is the product tracks the food. Ethereum will go to the moon and binance will make successful things this year.
