So It's that time of year to start making predictions for next year, so I thought I would go ahead and see what everyone else thought about predictions for the end of year price for Bitcoin or BTC. Personally, I see it at about $8,000-$8,500. I think big investors looking at Bitcoin will wait until the New Year to start buying Bitcoin in order to save cost on accounting and taxes for this quarters numbers. What does everyone else think?

I think it will surely touch 10000 $ till the end of the year.
So keep holding your BTC and sell these at right time.

I think it will be 10,000$ at the beginning of 2018. Lots of predictors said that. We can just wait and look.

From my point of view, it's $8500 for the end of the year, around christmas. Next year will be more interesting than this year for sure. We'll be also watching the last news about bitcoin cash actions and China's regulations about bitcoin.

Because its a nice clean beautiful number, not necessarily because they have a clue.
At most 8,000 since 1 Jan 2018 is like a month and a half away.

I wish it would go down, so I can get lots more. However, I think people are coming to terms with a high value, and they probably see the current value as a floor. Who knows where that will take it as we enter the new year - it seems unlikely to go down though.

Everyone predicts that price will be around 10000$ at Jan 1st, but it feels like they they only want to see price like this, it probably won't happen. Imo it will be max 8800-9000$.

Well nobody knows how much it will be worth because there is more than a full month left until we get to the end of the year.
But of course that i would love to see the price over ten thousand dollars, but i dont think that it is going to happen because there are going to be a lot of obstacles in the middle of the path until we get to $10k, just think about it.  The same happened when we touched five thousand dollars for the first time, it was very difficult, because they are like "big goals" for the price.

I think that bitcoin may rise to 10000$ per bitcoina at the end of the year if everything ends well. There are still some risks for bitcoin I hope that they will overcome them as always!

I think that it will be under $9000 by the end of the year, a lot of people are trying to hype the price right now but they are forgetting about that bitcoin cash and all those chineses are trying to spread a lot of fud over bitcoin.
With the last few news, we heard that the Chineses were going to shut down almost all the exchanges and make NEO the first cryptocurrency who is going to be the #1 in there.
They are trying to break everything, and they will try to defeat bitcoin one more time, so it would be difficult to reach more than $9000 by the end of the year.

Yes the Chinese government makes thing hard for bitcoin. First, jihan wu with his stupid fork and now there is some uncertainty about what chinnise may do next!

I have the same prediction that bitcoin will be stable and kicking at $8,500 and will having it's floor at $7,500. But still it's undecided and unpredictable as CME will start it on December. This can be a game changer and bitcoin can kicked through an unexpected price but still, for now as long bitcoin will stay at $7,000 this can be a safe haven for all of us.

I think the price will reach a peak of $ 10,000. Then many people want to make a profit and start selling coins. The price will fall for a while. Then it will equalize. And stop at around 7000 dollars. But I'm a bad predictor, after all. This is just my opinion.

I don't think we will see $10,000 before the end of the year but I think it is on the cards by the middle of next year

The way the price is going it is not too hard to predict the price until the end of the year. I'd say we are going to be between 7k-8k. Next year will be the alts year, because there were a lot of new great projects backed to blockchain being created.

Bitcoin will easily crush the 8000 usd wall in a few days. At the end of the year i think (if someting unforeseable doesn't happen) bitcoin will be above at 10000 usd. I'll be definitely there when 10000 usd wall is breached. Sit tight, buckle up and wait for this to happen.

Bitcoin is master of all crypto currency and its demand is increasing day by day. Many people consider it as one of the fastest growing investment in the world. Bitcoin is growing tremendous rates of growth and if Bitcoin continues to grow at the same rate, you can easily expect the price of Bitcoin to cross the 10,000$ mark by end of this year for sure. Bitcoin has enormous potential and even better growth rates can be expected in coming years.

The price ranging from $7,500 to $8,000 is enough to be the price of bitcoin for this year because it already had a huge run for the price and it is too much if bitcoin will passes the $8,000 price level and if that happens then it might be the cause for bitcoin to lose a lot of value just after the new year and that is very possible.

I think bitcoin's price will hit 10K USD if it continue its dominance in the market. We've seen how it surges back when it falls down a bit after BCH was being pumped. Since segwit2x was also cancelled, there is a great possibility that its price will continue to climb and hit 10K USD before this year ends.

By the end of the year, I think the price of bitcoin will continue to increase because bitcoins are popular, more people are aware of bitcoin and the need for human bitcoins increases. I really want that to happen.

I think BTC will fall a little because of the black Friday, Christmas and New Year holidays. Approximately up to 6000. And in the 2018 January it will skyrocket.

I think your estimates are very conservative, we might see Bitcoin touch or get real close to $10k by the end of the year, especially as people get their end-of-year bonuses and larger paychecks.. A lot of it going to flow into crypto (and Bitcoin being the main asset they buy as time has shown us).

Wow I really thought so that we are going further 8,5K and this is going to be historic movement for the bitcoin itself. I mean this is such great news that everyone is on the same page and want the bitcoin to go ahead of everything and bloom the crypto currencies. I’m pretty sure that even the bitcoin all no with its brothers it is going upwards only. There are many gifts for us in the Christmas I believe because hey I’m true believer of bitcoin. ;-)

i would say between 8.5k and 9k by the looks of it.. couple of days ago i would have said something around 7/8k but it amaze me how strong is growing BTC, especially in the 2017.
We all hope for the best of course but being practical it doesn't hurt :)

Bitcoin been increasing exponentially every year since 2009 , Lots of people and me predicting that bitcoin at or near 10k by the end of the 2017

in my opinion, bitcoin price will be increase and it will be possible reach to 8000$. As you can see the price of bitcoin is slow down and become more stable. In addition, the price will increase nice and slow, not unpredictable as last few months ago. Now is a good time to invest of buy in to holding. The end of year is coming to if you guy want to invest now would be nice time to do it.

The more you wait,the more of chances your losing the opportunity to get profit.coz here in crypto every single moment is valuable so my advice is invest now,dont hesitate and dont lose the chances.

Dont wait for the predictions go with the technology will come out with flying colours. I would bid upon almost 6–8x rise in coming 3 years from now which will be 2020.

The prediction price this year is $1000, right now we are on the $8000 per bitcoin, so $2000 more and we're arriving at the moon. Lucky to those who holds their bitcoin because they are going to have a very huge profits in the next prediction price.

Most of bitcoin users would really have the same mentality or thought on this one which we can really compare on the situation on past year on bitcoins price which theres a demand which causes its price to increase even more. 8500 now on November is already reachable since we are on 8200+ price as of this writing which we can able to touch that 8500 price and on the thing I do expect on here is that the price would hit up 10k which most all bitcoin users are waiting for.

if we look now the bitcoin price has already reached over $ 8000 and I think it will continue to climb. maybe at the end of the year could reach $ 10000.

And that's based on what? A hunch? We just went up by $2000 in November and you want us to repeat it next month? I believe we'll have to slow down at some point and the holidays are a perfect time for that. Bitcoin is running out of juice and won't be able to keep up the pace of more than $1000 a month, every month. I think it's going to stay at 7500 to 8500 range for some time.

At the end of 2017 the price of bitcoin is expected that it will cross 10000$. because bitcoin price is already trading above 8000$ and still the demand of bitcoin is increasing because of the increasing interest of the people. Investors still confident that bitcoin price can cross 10000$ in next few moths, may be at the end of 2017 we reach to 10000$ which will be a great achievement of bitcoin.

My prediction would be $8500 or higher than that..price now already surpass $8000, it already reaches $8200+ seen on the coinmarket cap.Even if it changes every minute almost everyone were very confident that it will reach to the top..we all have the same predictions that its price still continue to rise so we must watch out for that moment because we are already a part of bitcoins success.

I think the price of bitcoin will be beyond $8500 because as of now, we are still in the month of November but the price of bitcoin is already beyond $8000 so I believe that it will go beyond what we are expecting to be the price of bitcoin. We really don't know exactly but it is just a prediction or a guess if it will become higher or lower than the expected bitcoin price.

Well, I am the single person who voted for the levels of $6.5K to $7K because I believe that the current price is not the organic growth of it and hence we are going to experience the correction in the price of it soon. Thus, at the beginning of the new year, I am expecting the price to be somewhere in between $6.8K to $7K and no doubt bullish run will continue after the correction in the price. This is my personal opinion and it might be completely wrong but that's what I think based on my research and experience.

Hi there RamesesLabs! I bet it can reach $10,000 before the year ends. As I scan through the price history, bitcoin price rose at an average of 25% per month which if happen could directly target the 10k mark.  First quarter of a year proves a slow swing of price especially in the month of March. Actually, with the current price at 8k even though market analyst says it is in resistance level, it cant be dragged down below 7k. Given the fact, I’m with you about the tax rules, but most company are rushing to take advantage of the current price.  ;)

Most likely between €8000-8500, even the current bitcoin prices is exceeds the predictions of experts which about $7000. I don't know, if the beginning of the new year will affect to bitcoin or not.

Bitcoin will most likely increase its price. Deflation will not occur because the current flow of bitcoin is limited.

I am not holding a big amount of bitcoin as of now but I have high hopes for this one, I just hope that it will hit above $10k. As you can see the price is already around $8,000 and getting stable for this month with that price but remember that there will be a  lot of spending next month that I think will really affect the price of bitcoin and increase it.

I voted for 8500 or higher because there is no option of 10000$ above I feel it should cross above 10000$ but bitcoin transaction fees getting higher transaction speed much slower even China planning to ban miners it may impact even more.

I also voted for $8000-$8500 because the bitcoin price falling again now so it needs some time to recover from the fall and china is banning the bitcoin miners so it maybe affect the price growth in bitcoin so price will be $8500 at the end of 2017.

well another attempt from china and for sure it will create small impact to bitcoin value for some time but after that what do we expect? i think it will be more than 8500$ as newcomers keeps on coming to buy more cheap btc and hold it expecting that the value will still goes up, so everything will be just repeated in the long run.

                         In my personal point of view, you do have a point and yes the most common factor that affects the price of coins in the market especially bitcoin are the news. I guess there is also another hard fork that might happen, i've heard it from the news that they are also planning to have a fork, well i don't really have that much information about that news though, but certainly i believe it will touch to $8500 or maybe more before this year ends hopefully.

Everyone's prediction BTC will hit 10k mark before the year ends, if not maybe around the first quarter of 2018. Thats why I didnt spend or exchange any of my btc coz the possibility is really huge. A lot of people is anticipating this one to happen causes big investors attention. Today were swinging around 7.8k - 8k, what about next week and next month, btc has a rapid increase since the beginning of the year. Im holding my BTC till it reach 10k.

I think bitcoin price in end of the year can be reach $9000 if everyone always use bitcoin or invest bitcoin. Because if we look back in the last year, bitcoin price is increasing till now about 100%. We dont know what happen next, its just prediction, right?

I think it will be priced more than 8500 USD, maybe 9600USD or 10000 USD. It will only happen if nothing wrong will happen before this year end and if the hugh rate of increase that it is having right now will continue. We all know that the hardfork was already cancelled which is expected to be the factor that will make its value increase so it will be hard for Bitcoin to have an expensive value.

If this poll was made earlier around June-September then they would just say that it's impossible and unrealistic since the price back then was around $2k while much more earlier of the year it was $1.2k. We just reached $8300, the price is volatile and came down to ~$7900 but i'm sure that will end this year more than $9000.

I'm assuming bitcoins will reach a price of $9000 before the year ends. A lot of investors actually bought a lot of coins last price dip and maybe whales would also sell their coins because of the holiday season. The $9000 price point is very likely since bitcoin activities will increase this December.

The possibility of the bitcoin closing the year around $10,000 or even more is becoming more real, but following this aggressive bullish run, a price of $12,000 seems perfectly possible. However, it is also valid to keep certain reserves to avoid excessive optimism, for which I have contemplated within my annual budget that the bitcoin price closes the year to $6000. That would be enough for me, but if it closes at $12k, it will double my happiness.

I'm personally looking at the price to be somewhere around $10,000 and surely the holiday season will help the price increase more. For my prediction in bitcoin in the end of the year it would go up to 10000$ or up as the statistics shows the rapid increase of the price of bitcoin it will go down with a couple of weeks but im pretty hopeful that it would reach 10000$ the price value of bitcoin.

Bitcoin price definitely going above $8.5k, as many are saying $10k is also possible by end of this year. i'm not planning to sell any even at $10k, after 4 years or so price will much higher like $25k+, will sell 10% of my bitcoins at $25k and hold the rest.

I think it can reach $10,000 before the year closes. As I look over the value history, bitcoin value ascended at a normal of 25% every month which if happen could specifically reach on the $10,000. All things considered, with the present cost at $8,000 despite the fact that market expert says it is in resistance level, it cannot be dragged down underneath $7,000. My reasons are two fold. The prospects of Bitcoin growth are very high. The value of USD will go down drastically in next 10 years or so. Both these things put together 1 BTC = 500k USD is pretty much possible in a decade.

I do not think like you bitcoin just stopped $ 8000 - $ 8500 because nobody knows if anything happened. If there is event hard fork of bitcoin continue , I do not know how much it will increase.

if i see in bittrex, bitcoin have a good potential to increase more than $8,500 and we still have a time to see the price is increase because at least we have one month to see the price will hit more than $8,500 and maybe the price will reach $9,000-$10,000. but we need to stay alert to see the correction price that will come after bitcoin reach one higher price and if the price is down then i think we can see that there is many people will get ready to buy more bitcoin and we should buy too if we have money. bitcoin price could jump into higher price in any second and we need to stay in the market so when the time is come, we can ready to sell our bitcoin.

I think it's too high. The 12,000$ price is too difficult to achieve and the most rational figure I currently think is in the 10,000$ price range. This is the price that can soon be achieved, we've seen that bitcoin price has now reached 8,300$ and this has become the starting gate to reach the next record.

Bitcoin will continue growing, but it will hardly reach $10000 by the end of the year. Yes, it may overcome the $9000 barrier, but it might happen at the very end of December. Meanwhile, we all know that predictions about cryptocurrency market do not always work.

The speculation about btc price are done every time and sometimes they are correct and sometime not.The predictions related to this year price are near about $10k. But some want a dip so they can buy more at nearly $6000 or below which does not seems possible. The price can be around $8600 because of reports stating crypto heast of a company. Let's wait for it and see what happens.

I had hopes that it was going to reach $10,000 before the year ends but the recent setback with the canceled fork which made the value drops very significantly was very bad for bitcoins and it has taken a while before it could recover, had it not been for that the value would have been around $9000 by now which in my opinion will be the end value by then time the year ends.

again an end of year and predictions. i remember when the price was about 1000$ (excactly 968$) and,in the mid of 2016, it was to difficult to talk about the price of BTC that will rise to 1000$. So it happend. For me with no doubt, end of year prediction would easily rise up to 10000$. and yet, i have no any BTC in my wallet.

I think bitcoin will reach $ 10,000 by the end of this year, judging by the increasingly growing bitcoin development, so that bitcoin will remain in the marketplace until now.

I think that by the end of the year Bitcoin will cost more than $ 10,000. Of course there is some probability that Bitcoin will fall, but I doubt it.

With the increase happening to Bitcoin because of the investors and the news, it is not impossible to reach $10,000.00. However monitoring the price, going up and down i'd say a good $9300.

Bitcoin swing around $1000 within a week, right now on its $8000 dollar mark Bitcoin could easily reach 10k or more at the end of the year. But we might make few drops reaching 7500 below before it reaches another all time high (10000).

I think we're getting closer to retesting the lower levels, like 7700 at least. We could go much lower if that doesn't hold. It's not connected to any news just a normal market correction to get some space for another launch. I've seen opinions that a large correction is long past due and I agree with it. We can see that volume has became very small these last few days, the market is slow and boring.

I have only positive predictions. Of course anything can happen and Bitcoin is quite unpredictable, but I think that it's price will continue to grow and it will reach 10,000 $ by the end of this year.

As the price is rising at a fast rate and had already reached 8100$. So my prediction for BTC price will be approximately 9000$ or even more if it keeps on rising. As no one expected 8100$ also  so anything can happen .It can even cross 10000$ but 9000$ mark is confirmed.

I won't be surprised if Bitcoin hits even more than $10000 by the end of this year. This year was great for cryptocurrencies. More and more people became interested in it. Unfortunately, some people are here only because of money. It would be great if they understood why cryptocurrencies are better than fiat. It would make it easier.

CME futures launching is a big variable. We could see $10k or $2k.

In my opinion the price can touch $1k/btc easily in the starting of the year 2018 Because day by day increasing craze to have bitcoin is increasing fastly , so here we can understand how much difference in the price of the current time and predicted price have , that is 200$ or even less .
So here we should make ourselves sure that $1k/btc will be price of the btc in one to two month easily , so we should buy now and hold for such a big profit because no one seen the future , so if we can imagine the future with better grow of the bitcoin then we will have lots of money .

I am starting to read articles about the bitcoin crash of 2017 which is a result of the cme and futures. The article also highlights ethereum will take over as the no 1 cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin possibly would reach $10k because of people who really supports bitcoin. Yes people become interested because of the price reaches high. So bitcoin is possibly will hit to $10k and ofcourse lets watch the price.

Though i can't vote i still put my vote here. It could be $7,500-$8,000 if the segwit will continue their mission, i'm sure there could be a big difference when that time come.  ;D

The end of this year will bring some big changes in the crypto market and other markets too. Like the prices of digital currencies will may goes up and they may go down. As my prediction about bitcoin prices the price will remain unchanged in the end of this year as I saw the prices are very high now the growth is not seen in the coming month. The growth is looking constant.

Let's be realistic about it. How can there be crash in 2017 when futures are just being launched. There has to be an investment first for people to be able to withdraw. This means that price has to go up first due to the futures being sold and investors are aiming at $10k minimum, so it's unlikely for it all to happen in a month. Next year, maybe, this year it's going to go either correct a bit to get ready for a launch in early 2018 or it's going to continue up until a big correction next year. Either way if you are holding BTC now you're not going to regret it.

I am predicting BTC around $1100 by the end of 2017. I say this because while BTC is on a slow, sideways, definitely upward spike, everyone is hesitant to predict its future because of many the hard fork in the foreseeable future.

The investors like the dividend hard forks like the one yesterday with Bitcoin Diamond. Haven't checked the price of that yet, but I definitely think Bitcoin has a chance to break $10,000 now. I just posted this poll a little over a week ago and was wondering if $8,500 was even possible. I guess we should be buying Bitcoin instead of HODL'ing.

You can see now that your estimate has gone past the value of Bitcoin to date for it already reached $8,600+++ and it is just November. It has clearly surpassed your prediction. But as for my prediction, I see it coming to an end with AT LEAST $15,000. I hope it will happen though. I personally believe the value will be overwhelmingly high because there are no more reasons for it to go down. Hence, you better watch out and keep yourselves abreast on future developments.

I predict $8500 or higher by the end of the year,If bitcoin reach the five figure mark by the end of year. Expect the high volume of investors because everybody want to earn it.This coming 2018 i see many bitcoin holder will surely get a high profit. So for now lets observe what will happen.   

Well it’s very hard to say about exact price of bitcoin of bitcoin but if we compare the price of bitcoin with last year’s so its improved and this year is also much better than last year because in this year many countries and some rich companies have accepted bitcoin and some of them make it legal so I’m sure that the price will be high than ever.

I think the possible price of the bitcoin before end of this year is 10,000 dollars. So if you have extra money right now , you can invest that to bitcoin but invest only you can afford to lose because they have psosibility the price will decrease even we know that the price continue to increase. Like what other said, it's hard to predict the bitcoins value at the end of this year. But if we are going to analyse about the bitcoins value from the past months, the demand of the bitcoin is continuously increases because many companies in different countries already accepted the bitcoins as a legitimate currency which will be used for trading and investing.

My end year prediction is $12000 for 1 BTC. I hope i touches that.

For me, my predictions for the bitcoin price when the year ends is $10,000 – $12,000. When you study or understand the history of bitcoins amount, it is so unstable but every month bitcoin price increase to 15-20%. Everything considered, with the present cost at $9,000, thus for it will increase $10,000 above when the year ends. :)

With the price rising to 9,000 US dollar this time around. I personally that the price of bitcoin by December 31 or 25 2017 it will be worth 11,000 - 12,000 US dollars the increasing demand of bitcoin is increasing day by day due to the ruckus publicity that the social medias other news all over the world are giving to bitcoin.

With the current price growth it is sure that reaching $10000 is promised before the year end. Maybe the price will go higher than the long back speculated $10000 after the price correction. This is the time to keep hold and grab the best out of the same as price is found on the uptrend.

My prediction is still $8.500 for the end year price for bitcoin. I think we'll observe a strong correction waves in bitcoin, making the price 10-15% down compared the current price of bitcoin.

   Will bitcoin drop back to $8500, or price will set up some new bottom 
will be seen. I am not so good in predicting price moving, I believe in rise
and that is why I holding my coins for very high price.

   Bitcoin is not on top, it is great to sell on top and buy again on bottom!
Who can predict next top? It was not on $9000, is it on $10000, or price
will grow more and set up new bottom? I do not wish to lose my bitcoins

Bitcoin is above $9500 now and soon it will cross the $10000 benchmark, what i am expecting the price will cross $10500 before the end of this year or it may cross $11000 because a dip is also expected in near future. BTW everything is possible so we can't accurately predict the price, it may drop too but the percentage of drop will be not that high, may be around 15-20% (if it happens).

Analysis of the recent jump of price shows that in the end of 2017 price will stay above 10000+ value and people are very sure about this thing because in the next month Christmas is coming and on that occasion there will be more investors who will come and invest and that will give more rise to the price and next year will be bitcoin year and 2017 will be written as the revolutionary ear for the bitcoin to gain value and trust of investors.

No one can sure for the price of the bitcoin at the end of this year it may be increases or decrease it depend on the luck and the demand of the people towards the bitcoin. But now a days the price of bitcoin is countinously increase day by day and reaches to approx $9000 . In the world many people depend on the bitcoin now days for survive. After seeing the demand of bitcoin the price of bitcoin at the end of this year is approx $11000 .

To the minimum the price will be around $14000 - $15000, because the price hasn't started to experience the growth that occur by the end of every year. This year from the beginning the growth is massive, so the same might grow much higher by the last month of the year taking the price stand above 14000 by the starting of 2018.

You are estimating a low price see the market jump of previous 24 hours price will be more than you are assuming it will be clearly above 14000$ and maybe more than that because many regions are now taking serious interest into bitcoin because they realize the fact that accepting it is reality and it’s better to accept it now rather than in future when price are much higher than now and it is easy to afford now than future.

No one can predict bitcoin prices with certainty, but for my prediction, bitcoin prices by the end of this year will be stable, don't show a significant increase and not decrease dramatically.
The decline and rise in bitcoin prices by the end of this year, is not a problem for me personally.
I will use this situation as a good opportunity, if the price goes down i will buy and if the price goes up i will sell it in hopes of getting big profit.

The price assumption from my side is 18000 and this is on the basis of previous three days stats and all this is just because after seeing the recent progress those who have a least knowledge of bitcoin they come into the action and now they are getting crazy to buy as soon as possible and this thing will lead to the further progress of bitcoin and the upcoming era will be more enjoyable for the investors and the new comers.

Because bitcoin has turned to a behemoth and no one can ever stopped it's growth then I think $20k is a realistic price that I see coming.

The fact is that almost everything goes exactly to this. It seems to me that those who predicted a price of $ 10,000 before the end of the year, themselves are surprised at how active Bitcoin has become today.
