Title: Crypto Food Delivery
Post by: CFD on November 20, 2017, 12:11:51 AM
hello

dear member,

Everyone is asking what will be the next thing in blockchain

the might be the food chain

Blockchain technology (BCT) is a collection of existing technologies, such as cryptography and database and network management, for the distribution of data. The idea is that you move from a centralised database network to a transparent decentralised network without needing an intermediary. Lan Gé, Senior Scientist in Innovation, Risk and Information Management at Wageningen Economic Research in the netherlands, has identified the benefits of BCT for agri-food chains. Together with TNO, she has launched a pilot project for the application of BCT in agri-food chains.

Food retailers like Walmart, Unilever and Nestlé are partnering with IBM on a blockchain collaboration intended to address food safety.

As it stands, IBM said one in ten people become ill each year – and 400,000 people die – because of contaminated food. What’s more, it can take weeks to identify the precise point of contamination, causing further illness, lost revenue and wasted product.

However, in recent trials in the US and China, IBM and Walmart demonstrated that blockchain can be used to track a product from the farm through every stage of the supply chain “in seconds instead of days or weeks,” IBM said.

"Unlike any technology before it, blockchain is transforming the way like-minded organizations come together and enabling a new level of trust based on a single view of the truth," said Marie Wieck, general manager of IBM Blockchain, in a statement. "Our work with organizations across the food ecosystem, as well as IBM's new platform, will further unleash the vast potential of this exciting technology, making it faster for organizations of all sizes and in all industries to move from concept to production to improve the way business gets done."

Further, to accelerate the adoption of blockchains, IBM said it is introducing an enterprise-grade production blockchain platform and consulting services, which will allow more organizations to activate their own business networks.

wow, nice idea you have there. but of course, this would be easy since you all have to do is to create the possibility of this cryptocurrency to be accepted as payment in your service business.

Its is possible that crypto currency can be able to used for food delivery and daily needed. Bitcoin or crypto can also consider as money but in the form of electronic transactions or we call also the bitcoin as electronic money that may able to used physically.

Where did you get this? How could only 10 people became ill and 400,000 people die because of contaminated food?
It should be otherwise; 400,000 people became ill and 10 people die.

as following in mid-end  2018 we will present you the (Crypto Food Delivery) straight from the farm. Buying food straight to the farm is a good idea, but it only works if the farms are nearby as people don't have to pay more fee for the delivery. As long as you can make it happen without an ICO, and have been implemented in the Dominican Republic as the proof of this p2p food chain really success in your country.

I think that this idea is really interesting. You've mentioned thst some well-known food retailers will be involved in this project so I hope and I think that this will be a success. Using cryptocurrency in the food industry will be a great assistance for both sellers and consumers. But something like this can only be done locally. I look forward for other countries to have something like this too because it is really beneficial in my personal opinion.

Nice idea of having their own token or coin as payment for buying foods directly from the market. And with delivery included, this will save much more time and energy for buyers because they can buy what they want even if they are at home. By the way is there still a delivery fee or it is already free? Also, will there be some kind of a platform where buyers can choose what they want to buy? I hope this could work with some fastfood chains as well.  ;D

I like your idea of delivering food directly from the farm so it would mean that you will deliver it fresh. It would be an advantage to the seller because they can charge the right price for their products because if they deliver it directly to the big establishments like malls, hotels or restaurants then there is a tendency that they would buy the products at a discounted price so they would receive a lesser pay and income.

As for the buyer, it is an advantage because there is no need to buy at groceries anymore for the products and pay a premium price if they have the option to pay at a lower price with fresh products. No need to travel as well because it will be delivered straight to their homes.

This is a very good idea, food is a day to day need of the people and will likely attracts investors. Buying food straight from the farm with cryptocurrency in the food industry will be a good one. Wish you success.

The idea itself is amazing, but is there a must to use blockchain technology? I think currently fiat is more versatile in terms of charity donations and so on. But, of course, acception of crypto-donations to those in need will increase what they recieve.

At the core of modern cryptocurrencies, lies the blockchain, an online based, publicly distributed universal ledger. In a world full of secrets, transparency seems like a contradictory oxymoron. However, it is because of this level of transparency, combined with cryptography, we are able to create decentralize databases, free of limitations imposed by those of a central authority.
The blockchain has a multitude of uses besides just being a financial ledger. Ethereum makes it possible to create smart contracts upon this ledger, which extends its number of useful utilities. Perhaps the food industry "is" the next big thing to hit the blockchain?

people should always have a choice, buy food from the store counter or from the farm, healthy food should be present at every table, so the idea is excellent

Food is the one market that alway survice , people need to eat!

What is the number one thing people hate? Waiting! So if you come up with a solution that kills the waiting you are in for a winner. Have good partners and people will find your business. But..what about developing a blockchain application many food supplier can easy integrate and make their business more efficient?!

We have what you need, send me a pm and you might be sitting on a huge cashmaker. Pm me for more info.

This will ensure every consumer's safety when they call for a food that is going to be delivered. I agree on this one.

Food is one of our necessities, we cannot live without it.
Right now, we are all busy in our own work, so we didnt have enough time to cook food.
So  i can see that this project is very interesting, even though we didnt have any money we can easily pay our food delivery using our cryptocurrency.i will gonna watch this thing.  Good luck.

I suppose this could be a great idea for countries that have very poor standards of food hygiene.
I went to inda for a month I was so ill after eating the food there it was un-rea.

I really struggled there to find places to find food that I could eat that was not going to cause my insides to feel like they were on fire.
