For public disclosure I have bought some more BTC from stereotype.

I paid with UK Bank Transfer - currently the funds have left my account but are subject to security checks -- I called the bank with stereotype did not receive the payment promptly.

Will update when the payment etc goes through and BTC are released.

Agree post. Spoke to my bank also, who said 'security checks' would not be dealt with in this way considering a payment was made yesterday without problems. She did say, its possible an algorithm picked it up BECAUSE a payment was made yesterday, but went on to say this is set up differently for each organization.

So will keep refreshing BB.  :(

I got someone to send a test payment to my account, to try and see where the problem was. I didnt receive the payment. So that would be a problem with my account, right?
I rung my bank again, and insisted the guy speak to his supervisor/manager. 
The bank say there is categorically no reason why i should not be receiving payments. I told them 2 different people have sent payments and its not showing. They say their banks MUST be withholding for whatever reason/s, and that they (my bank) are not able to trace payments received anyway, only payments sent, can be traced i.e. the sender has to initiate the trace.

BB, you indicated that your bank said funds WILL eventually be released. Looks like we will have to hang on to that for now.
Will keep checking today, but you may have to insist an escalation of this issue with your bank at some point.

Hmm. That's odd that someone else couldn't make a payment either!

The funds have LEFT my own account but not actually LEFT my bank it seems  :o

I mean I have the associated debit going to you [as I showed you in PM] but needless to say you have not received it.

Just phoned my bank again. So it has 100% left my account BUT it hasn't left my bank yet :)

So what happened was I bought coin from stereotype a few days ago and that was a larger transaction ie; over £1000+ today they have seen another payment to the same account and have trigged a security check.

the bank claim it will be released, most likely, before the end of the day but it CAN take up to 16 hours.

Sorry about this stereotype :( you will get it that's for sure. The guy kept saying sorry on the phone  :D

Ok. Had to phone my bank for a third time. re: the other sender (not you BB). Turns out a wrong digit was initially given. After a re-send, it showed in my account but had no banking reference and it wasn't available to access/spend, which is why i rung them back. They eventually confirmed that they have noticed a spike in online use currently (i didn't believe her). She also told me that i need to log out, and in again to update the new payment, which i told her i had never had to do before. It worked.

BB. It appears my account is working but there are delays/issues with certain banking networks at the mo, so sit tight, and i will keep checking. Your coins and/or money are safe.  

BB. I just checked while another payment came in, and its still not visible, im afraid. Will keep you updated.

Hmm. I just sent another payment to someone else and seems OK :(
