Title: Coinbase Coins Bitcoin Ethereum Litecoin
Post by: Richy007 on November 21, 2017, 05:36:04 PM
As most people assumed from bitcoins price ($8200+), bitcoin achieved the highest percentage gain year over year.
However, as of today, from Coinbase percentage gain, it states:

bitcoin 1026%
ethereum 3689%
litecoin 1739%

The winner is ethereum, how about next year... answer poll and see.  Thanks

I think demand for ethereum is increasing due to ERC-20 tokens. These are being traded but need ether for the transfer hence demand increases.

Wondering, what this question has to do with coinbase. Ok, they offer these cryptocurrencies, but most exchangers also do so. Ethereum had a good year, but stucks. Expected it to continue its upmove, but there seem to be issues on upgrading processes and Bitcoin is just gaining attention from a majority of people. So better hold Bitcoin right now.

The percentage gain figures were from coinbase dashboard, hence giving them credit.
