I while ago I joined a Twitter bounty for this coin and was never able to check if I received it due to sync issues of the old wallet.

With the new wallet, i was able to sync it finally and it shows 0 amount.

No, something is wrong with these stats, the block chain has only 1561 block right now. that's less than the total number of blocks in these stats. maybe you should switch to a Yiimp pool to get better stats.

I voted there too, but the count doesn't change at all. It seems to me, you need to spend 60000 satoshis to make 1 vote.

It uses a scrypt algorithm, so you will probably have to rent a rig and point it to a pool. It's pointless to mine this with your GPU.

I don't think there is a free voting there. On the voting page it says "(1 vote = 1000 ALTBP)" and since 1 ALTBP costs 60 satoshis, the vote costs 60000 satoshis.

You can also point your GPU at another algo on our pool (BlockMunch.Club) then we will auto convert and pay you in MORTY.

I think it's much better to rent hash from any online service out there. The difficulty is still low and you can get some morties before it gets too difficult. Also, you can get cheap morty coins directly by buying from coinsmarket. The cost of mining 1 morty now is more than 2000 satoshi. You can get them at this price from the market right away without bothering about mining
