Title: noise solution? Post by: sevenmiles on November 24, 2017, 05:24:35 AM my miners in the basement really bother me ... and my wife .. even it is in basement ...
the noise makes the basement a painful place to stay ... especially the ant miners ... usually over 80 db... any suggestion? i put some thing on the wall, such as 24 Pack - Ice Blue/Charcoal Acoustic Panels Studio Foam Wedges 1" X 12" X 12", hope to reduce the noise level... but really cannot feel the improvement Title: Re: noise solution? However probably very expensive if you have a large basement.

When it gets warm it sounds like a vacuum cleaner however when it is very cool it is quiet. I moved mine into my shop and it was loud out there during the summer but now it is cold outside it is surprisingly quiet.
I don’t have any ideas off the top of my head but if you could get it really cool it would cut down on the fan speed and noise dramatically. Title: Re: noise solution?
