Title: something "FISHY" about coinpayments Post by: stevenkoh on November 24, 2017, 10:07:52 AM i am here just to tell my experience using coinpayments for about 7 months using their service
its seems like they are not a TRUE wallet as they mentioned in their page i think they only good at merchant payment i have been facing this issue quite often withdrawing balance from coinpayments wallet its like you need to pray they send it as soon as possible or else they might send it after 30min-2 hours after requesting i do not think that is how a cryptocurrency wallet works i have been using blockchain since 2014 i have never have problem withdrawing my balance from their wallet its quick like just by blinking your eyes all i have to do was just waiting it to get confirmations but in coinpayments different story i have an emergency withdraw about 2 hours ago, and funny, my wallet did not allowing it like its just STUCK there, status PENDING, wtf? damn, i am upset my transaction being cancelled after timeout because of this pending issue i did not know what reason they put this time for delaying my withdraw remember about bitcoin cash hardfork happened i get 0.00 balance in my bcc wallet although i have bitcoin balance on before and after the forking completed this what they said "Remember from our announcement before the Bitcoin Cash hardfork that if you wanted Bitcoin Cash you needed to withdraw your funds before the hardfork. We will not be distributing Bitcoin Cash if you missed the hardfork." what??? if i withdraw and emptied my bitcoin balance in my wallet, i will not get my split!!! that is the lamest excuse i ever heard they want to get the BCC for themself in their main wallet earn from their customers bitcoin wallet that were not withdrawn (maybe they purposely delaying the withdraw too) obviously at bcc forking if you have 1 btc then you get 1 bcc i dont know how much they have earn from this forking what manipulative service please be aware of this something just smells not right about them i just share my experience with coinpayments, no offence - saying the truth is not a crime - Title: Re: something "FISHY" about coinpayments Post by: SureLockLoans on November 24, 2017, 01:19:22 PM Again I've never used coinpayments and would recommend against using them. But if they did warn people to withdraw the bitcoin cash before the hard fork then there's nothing that can be done about it because they are within their power to do just that.
I would recommend switching to a different platform for storing/exchanging coins. Title: Re: something "FISHY" about coinpayments Post by: bitokus on November 24, 2017, 01:53:55 PM today i try to cashout from coinpayments to btc

i just got my withdraw after 8 hours of PENDING not yet counting the waiting time for bitcoin confirmations another waiting... wtf? what cryptocurrency wallet they offer? i just noticed today is the day where another FORKING for BCD (bitcoin diamond) if i am not wrong probably they intentionally pending the withdraw for the same purpose as BCC let them get the split for themself and leaving their customers here without getting any of it Title: Re: something "FISHY" about coinpayments Post by: swogerino on November 24, 2017, 07:39:45 PM If you are talking about Coinpayments.net they have a signature campaign running from quite a few weeks right now. Since the manager of the signature is a well known figure of the forum (for good or bad I don't care as it depends on everyone's point of view) I don't think they are scam as of yet. I am giving them the benefit of doubt and I hope someone from them can come and answer your questions here.
You see , you got your payment after all no matter the troubles. You see , you got your payment after all no matter the troubles. you missed my point here i was pointing out a "WALLET" service here which wallet service will put you for delay of 8 hours? i have not find any so far i have been using many bitcoin wallets i have balance in my wallet, and i want to withdraw it anytime i want, it should be like that it should be instant, or perhaps give at least 5 minutes for the script to run completely am i right? but after 8 hours then they release the withdrawal? seriously? i have income and store in coinpayments's wallet i was on a payment page to pay something, and surprisingly, they pending my withdrawal for unclear reason pending for 8 hours my payment failed because of this that was the upset part, insane more worst, that 8 hours affects the bitcoin rates supposedly, i was paying 1 btc at rate $8000 on that time, then pending for 8 hours, the rate changes, let say 1 btc drops at rate $7500 that mean i have to pay extra $500 to match the amount of bitcoin if i want to re-order the stuff that was failed 8 hours ago based on the new recent rate Title: Re: something "FISHY" about coinpayments Post by: swogerino on November 24, 2017, 08:57:55 PM If you are talking about Coinpayments.net they have a signature campaign running from quite a few weeks right now. Apparently they are not standing behind their word and it is good that your brought this to the attention of the users of the forum. I don't really care as I only use Electrum but these kind of wallets should start working like they promise otherwise they will lose clients. |
