I recommend to not buy any contract from genesis mining its a cloud mining which is not safe and risky to invest and most of them are scam..
So if you really wanted to mine with your own and safe only 2 that i can recommend to you which is buying antminer or build your own GPU mining rigs.
This 2 can mine bitcoin or altcoin .. that your money are safe and mine cryptocurrency with your own..
There is no safe cloud mining online so if you care with your money better to stay away this kind of service..

Do yourself a favor and buy some coins instead of a contract. To give you an example I bought ADA 2 days ago and it doubled in value just like that, So if you put like 1000$  on Monday and sold some on Tuesday you'd have $2000. A cloud mining contract means freezing your money for months with a semi anonymous private company. Do you really want that?

Just like on most people do suggest above its much better not to bother on buying up contracts on these cloud mining sites because you would really just wasting off your money on buying those and with one year time you would able to see that you wont really be profitable and it is being shown already by some investors here on this forum regarding on their experience on such cloud mining sites.Back in the past it is still profitable since they do offer lifetime contract but as of now they do already have the duration which means theres really something wrong when it comes to profitability.

What kind of contract you want to buy? as bitcoin, dash and litecoin are out of stock right now.
There are few problems regarding genesis mining contract, and you can check on their twitter account (https://twitter.com/GenesisMining) many people claim didn't get paid properly such as payouts are missing, delayed, or reduced. If you can deal with those problem, feel free to purchase ethereum, zcash or monero for 2 years mining contract. An advice; do not invest more than you can afford to lose.
