Title: Bitmain issues
Post by: Frizz23 on November 30, 2017, 03:40:48 PM
Hi guys,

my shipment should have been sent these last few days, but no email came from Bitmain,
I sent them a few support tickets, but no answer at all - which is very strange considering they always answered right away in the past.

What is going on there?
Anybody been in touch with them or called them?

Thanks

There have been delays on shipping the November batch and sometimes bitmain is just bad at communicating.

My friend also ordered a cargo. A few days ago he said that the cargo delivered to the UK. Probably will still be a week to walk through the world. Don't answer your letters because you are not alone. Imagine how many hits due to the delay? They decided that in such a situation, silence is gold. I hope that all will be well.

This is normal practice from Bitmain, delaying shipments to mine with the hardware themself. Im very happy that there are new companies joining the buizz right now.

Yeah, just saying  - this wasn't the case before, so I'm kinda worried.
And I was counting on getting my miners now.

So you guys feel there is no need to worry?

My D3 just arrived at a local UPS facility, but it shows delivery exception because of import duties due. Does anyone know anything about this, im in the United States.

Call UPS and ask to pay the import duties.  Different department, and just use your credit card.  The driver will immediately get the paid signal even when he or she is delivering.

EDIT:  The D3's should be about 55 bucks each for import tax or duties.  It used to be 17 bucks each but, hey that was last year.

Just leave it there, it will take weeks just to pay the $55 tax...

It only took me about 10 minutes.

Call UPS and ask for their brokerage department for international shipments.  Have your tracking number ready and a credit card.

I've done this probably about 6 times.  Never an issue.
