Title: CampBx - My BTC and money is stuck in CampBx.
Post by: icecolor on December 01, 2017, 02:16:26 PM
My BTC and money is stuck in CampBx and am not able to move them out. I see old posts that people were having problems with campbx.
I cannot withdraw funds because they cannot partner with a bank account. I cannot move bitcoins because of network congestion always.

Can someone please help me understand if the issues campbx are real?
Thanks a lot.

They are horrible, they have terrible reviews and 0 support just like many other exchanges. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=15102 This is their CEO or whatever, you can try to contact him. He hasn't been online in a long time, though. Just a really shitty exchange overall.

Thanks for the info

Was anyone able to get their funds back from campbx?

Wow. There are so many horror stories online about CampBx

I am reading about them one by one. Looks like whatever they are doing is intentional.

There is a google group started for campbx victims.
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/campbx_victims

It will start with a locked account, for months while they repeatly ask you to send in KYC paperwork. After that you'll be asked for some other type of paperwork.  Then very low daily transfer limit, even after its unlocked. Transfer limit won't matter anyhow because you can't transfer because of 'Network Congestion'.  You don't even get in a quene. Just can't transfer due to Network Congestion which is 'out of their control' Still learning about the Network Congestion thing but it seems to be at least somewhat controllable by increasing transaction fee's. So.. it seems its another tatic by Keyur and Campbx to ?? cover up that they stole your property??

The aim of the group is to get their bitcoins / cash returned or see Keyur in jail.

Please join, more people, more power.

Aha, evidently I am getting put through the same process. I used them plenty in the past but now it took weeks to get a reply and when I did they asked for all sorts of documents. BTC still stuck on there for now.

I never had an issue with them in the past, they only accepted checks which was strange, but I had a robot running on their exchange for a while without issues.

Hope to get this resolved.

I recently discovered I had some BTC left in CampBX and suspect I'll be in the same boat as well. Just applied for KYC, but even trying to transfer a tiny amount of BTC (under the $250/day limit) still failed due to "network congestion". If anyone else has resources on how to deal with them please share!

No one has beside CampBx itself. They on social media keep blaming the network congestion as reason for them not being able to process withdrawals, because their funds are stuck waiting for confirmations.

That alone is already an insanely shady action, because every properly functioning exchange has enough coins in reserve to allow people to withdraw at least relatively smaller amounts without waiting.

If you can't even withdraw Bitcoins valued under $250, then that exchange is doing that intentionally. It could be that they turned insolvent, or they plan an exit scam, where I personally hin at the first mentioned option.

Network congestion is no issue at this point and thus can't blatantly be used as excuse.
