Hi everyone,
I concern if Enthereum price will grow up strongly like what happened in bitcoin.
is there any chances to get a significant return when investing Enthereum now  ?
Of course, no correct answer but I want to here from your view ?

Depends on how long you are planning to invest your coins for. Bitcoin has been extremely unpredictable these days. If you are going for short term investment then Bitcoin will reap you good profits.

But for a longer duration I would go with Ethereum. Ethereum will probably prove to be a fantastic investment long term for the patient investor. The general feeling is that Ethereum can probably go up to 600$, but not tomorrow. If it happens ~450 is still an interesting entry point. Many people and investors are showing a lot of interest in ETH which proves why its going to last for a long time.

Ethereum is by far the most known and used alt-coin AFAIK, but I also think alt-coins are only used because of the short-comings of bitcoin currently, like the inability of quick micro-transactions. Little tweaks, due to consensus within the bitcoin developer community could quickly throw alt-coins off the rails IMO. I say Bitcoin for long-term investments, or alt-coins if you know enough and want to go that route, but watch the development of BTC closely and know when to jump ship!

in matter of higher returns then the tops alts made more profit than bitcoin recently , but still they are risky to go with
bitcoin is the safest bet in crypto world and it's number 1 , so the higher returns are usually in the other alts cause they still have low cap comapring it to bitcoin remember if bitcoin took a loss then most likely all the alts will suffer too , so invest wisely

personally I would go with like 70% btc and 30% other alts

Bitcoin is giving people more fiat, it's much better to invest in that than anything else. Just look at the price in Bitcoinwisdom.

at least in my experience this is not true , I was taking notes about the prices back in may 2016 when I was mostly interested in crypto
here are the prices at that time

BTC = 443 usd now 11,000 = 25x
LTC = 3.67 usd now 102     = 28x
DASH= 6.82     now 786     =115x


so comparing these with bitcoin it's sure that if someone bought at that time DASH he would had made way more than buying bitcoin
but it's risky as I said and it's something that I don't recommend doing at all

I think ethereum will grow and it is very good for investment because ethereum is the best coin after Bitcoin but of course all still have risk.

do you mean ethereum? i think if you want to get more money in the future of course try to buy ethereum because ethereum is the next big crypto and if you buy ethereum now you will win in the future because the value of ethereum now is to low than bitcoin .

Its completely depend on your investment for long term or short term . If it is for long term ethereum is the good option once POS is happened with ethereum there will be huge holders significantly price will increase . Short term i dont have any ide.

For sure you will earned by investing in ETH but the value will not the same as high as BTC, as we can already see the current huge gap difference in the market between BTC and ETH except if you will buy a huge amount of ethereum you will gain big too. Ethreum value is keep increasing but not as fast as bitcoin but if you will have faith to wait for a couple of years it might follow the same path of bitcoin in which the value was just $1 before.

The priority of every investors is to make profit from their investment and we should have at the back of our mind that there is always need for diversification of investment and not to invest all our capital in just one investment opportunity. If we're you, I will invest about 70 percent of my investment capital into Bitcoin while the remaining 30 percent will bbe invested in Ethereum.

I think it's unlikely that Ethereum will have another run like what Bitcoin did in November. Ethereum had it's moment too, rising from $300ish to $500 right now. It wasn't as good as Bitcoin, but at least that was a significant rise.

Will Ethereum rise further in 2018? I don't think so. Ethereum lacks the factor that could pump them up. What's new for Ethereum? Bitcoin was rising crazily because a lot of reasons. The winning of No 2X team, Bitcoin futures listing on Nasdaq and CME, good news from Lightning Network development, etc. While Ethereum has mostly quite recently, I never heard any exciting news about ETH.

My suggestion would be to buy BTC instead when/if there is a correction ahead. Good luck!

For high return you should go with ethereum,
You can earn easily 3x to 5x in this year. After the Bitcoin ethereum have lots of potential to gain attention .very soon ethereum reached at 1000$.

if you want to invest in Ethereum start now price will increase at 2018.

1)ETH will be POS coin will multiply price fast.
2)effect of the high price of bitcoin may make many new users start to invest in altcoins (BCH & ETH) they will make high demand & high price.
3)many ICOS depend on ETH

No one can really tell you how high the return you are going to get from bitcoin or ethereum is going to be in the long run, so you may just have to make the decision on your own or probably just have the two in your portfolio.

Considering the fact that you are looking at higher return, and if you want to judge from earlier this year to date, ethereum obviously has had a higher percentage increase than bitcoin, a huge clear difference. However, if we are to look in a shortwhile, in the past few months, Bitcoin has been consistently increasing, better than ETH. Nevertheless, we can't use the past to judge the increase rate of any coin in the future, so it is best you just diversify but looking at the development coming up for bitcoin, I will allocate more % to it.

I think you first need to learn some basic about how cryptocurrency works,and maybe use a proper name for coins.It is not Enthereum(maybe this is some new coin?)like you wrote,proper name is Ethereum.

The biggest dilemma with investors in ETH is in fact can this coin come to value of BTC.I would say that one day if/when 1BTC be worth 100k$,then 1 ETH can be worth 5k$ or maybe 10k$.So for long term investment ETH is probably a good opportunity,but it will not be any surprise if we see some big pump in ETH.

Regarding BTC,anyone who invested from the first day and who invested yesterday is make profit-I think that this fact says it all.

I observed the development of ethereum, it turns out ethereum today get a positive response in the eyes of bitcoin users, besides Ethereum is a BTC partner that I think someday in the future could be like Bitcoin. even many people say if someday bitcoin supplies run out, then they will move to ethereum, and then ethereum become the parent of altcoin.

I think ethereum will be more profitable but may be for long term. And since its recent market value, its price has been moving positively up which is a good sign for Ethereum lovers. I beleive holding or investing in ethereum will be good.

It seems you do not expect good advice coming from us.

In making an investment it would depend up to you if you will invest in neither of the two both are very good investment and you will really generate good profit in the long run.

Try to invest both on those cryptos, at least you have choices. Long term investing for etherium while it is in low price since it has great potential in matching the price of bitcoin. While in bitcoin, the price is unpredictable but its value now is extremely high so the return is also good.

I would say bitcoin if you are looking to get short term, quick gains. Ethereum for longer term gains. Once more applications using Ethereum go live, ETH value would likely increase exponentially the way bitcoin did. So investing in both would cover both your bases?

I agree with the view that for short-term work it is good to invest in bitcoin...if you are willing to wait, then the ethereum is our everything

Its depends your investment planning. So if your invest long tram ,then you can invest Ethereum.or shortly invest bitcoin its better.and you will get more and more profitable.

i think from my point of view its better to invest on ETH, for his low price compared to BTC and i think in 1 years the ETH price will be x4 or more

Yes I do think in time Ethereums price will get higher but not as fast as how bitcoin had risen. I also invested in Ethereum and planned to hold them for around 3 years and see the difference in terms of its profits. But my investments are mostly for long term, I'm not sure if you go for short term you get a much higher return in Ethereum too.

Bitcoin has gone higher in value in crypto world, it is advisable to invest in ethereum that is increasing in value and it's still affordable for people to invest.

I believe with time ethereum is going to increase in value in the future just like bitcoin

Bitcoin still remains my choice of others because when altcoin is unstable bitcoin is still stable and bitcoin has a good track. eth is always depressed if btc always goes up

For me, in terms of % growth, ETC outperforms both ETH and BTC.

Ethereum Classic reaching 100$ (330% growth), very likely.

Ethereum reaching 1000$ (100% growth), not impossible.

Bitcoin reaching 20000$ (100% growth), maybe, don't know.

I would prefer Bitcoin. Because Ethereum has lost its charm once Bitcoin Cash came in to the picture. Also, the vast majority of the ETH coins remains outside free-float. No one knows who is holding all these coins and how much they are holding.

Yes, it is a great idea that you should do. Investing your money in Bitcoins or Enthereum helps you earn more passive income (interest) in just short period of time,

Medium/Long term, higher investment, high return....go with ethereum. Both will increas at 2018 but ETH will be POS and will have new ICO.

For medium term say 2 or 3 years both Bitcoin and ethereum will give similar return. Smaller value coin with good backing have higher return if there is a consistent growth and + cryptocurrency volatility should be under you radar.

In my opinion, Bitcoin will be much more profitable in the near future. Ethereum value has been also increasing and it reached its own ATH recently. Yes, if we have enough money then invest in both, bitcoin and ethereum, will be better. Bitcoin looks more promising as an investment instrument because the soaring of bitcoin price is so high. Therefore, bitcoin will remain my main investment while eth as a complementary.

In the long run Ethereum could give good profits. As it's the second best cryptocurrency, after Bitcoin, it should be okay to invest in Ethereum. But looking for higher return, then Bitcoin  is the best choice. Although the price will drop, because of the futures that CME is planning to launch. No one else in the room even blinked at that assertion.

The current market cap of ETH is around $10 Billion.

What we can say is that either Ethereum is much more valuable than its current value or worth nothing at all. There really is no in between with the path we are on. So if the $1 trillion is true (big if), you could make a 100x return on your investment.

LOL a room full of centralized points of failure. IF that were to ever happen, then Bitcoin would be $50 trillion - understand the money supply and financial asset prices to understand why Ethereum will never hit that before year 2070.

Bitcoin is the king of store of value asset that can be easily moved across borders without any intermediary/3rd party that unlike gold, stocks, bonds, real estate, is largely free from any central bank led price manipulation.

Bitcoin is ultimate store of value and its popularity has strengthened over time and maximizes value compared to any other altcoin...why?:
If it can be shutdown, and have assets frozen by a bank or government, there would be no value
If it wasn't secure, there would be no value.
If it wasn't immutable, there would be no value.
If it wasn't globally distributed, there would be no value.
If it wasn't so strong, open-source decentralized and unstoppable, there would be no value.
If it wasn't so scarce, there would be no value.
If it was easy to spam transactions, there would be no value
If it was stopped after all major banks on Earth banned in 2013 to today, there would be no value. (say "bitcoin" when transacting and watch the block of the transaction. simple fix=never mention "bitcoin").
If it didn't have the history of 8+ years (and still no hacker can exploit bitcoin blockchain), there would be no value
If its development wasn't decentralized around the world, there would be no value
If there was central "leaders" or foundation for the coin, there would be no value
If it was exactly like fiat and only did transactions, there would be no value.

Bitcoin has all the characteristics needed combined to make the most value and increasing more than any other financial-asset option coming from the manipulated fiat central-banking debt-system.

If you are feeling then i think you can take risk and invest it, ETH have crossed $500 but not able to sustain it so once it cross $500 with full force the we can see $600 very soon just like BTC main barrior $1000 was crossed and very soon we are seeing $10000+ price in very short time.

That's right! We can't expect that all altcoin will have these much gains in a year or so. We need to know the full capability of the alts we want to invest with otherwise, it will all just go to waste. Ethereum, for now, is increasing, the graph that is shown at coinmarketcap.com shows that it has risen significantly over the past few weeks and in my opinion, I think it will just continue to increase in the months to come, so if you are looking for a semi-long term investment, I think you should put some of your money to Ethereum.

I would recommend to invest in Ethereum, because of better technology, cheaper transaction fee and supported tokens which can be sent between this addreses, but Bitcoin have a bigger chances to grow and people would more invest in to btc

Nobody can tell you this because nobody can predict bitcoin price after 1 week with this insane rate. It's like gambling, you have just to close your eyes and choose one between them.

Ethereum is the next cryptocurrency after bitcoin it is gradually growing and is one of the most known in the crypto world though it is a long term investment but that of bitcoin is faster due to the rapid growth rate.

Ethereum the second position of bitcoin, and ethereum will grow in perlahaaan. While bitcoin growth is very fast and good to do long-term investment.

Honestly it's better to buy eth now not because it is profitable because it is a bit safer than btc. What currently is happening with btc is people are trying to keep the price to the top but many are booking profits so during this you really don't want to be caught up in this mess.

If you don't care about the risk of price falling just go with btc if the traders are able to push the price it can go above $20k.

I think if you want a higher return of investment considering the price of both today, I would suggest tou go with ethereum, not only it is cheaper that bitcoin, but its price is coing down, this means that you can buy it for a much lower price than its current market value. There is no universal recipe. Today, the profitability of one coin higher tomorrow this coin will be lower. All cryptocurrencies are very volatile. If you are interested in investing in a cryptocurrency then you have to constantly monitor the market and every day and sometimes hour to buy and sell currency.

I also wanted to buy some ethereum because of its continuos hike of price.  It can become like bitcoin one day for sure.  I just do not know where to buy some ethereum because I was warned before that try other wallet other than those who are already use by many people.  If you have money then buy both.

Yes,  I think investing in bitcoins or enthereum is great and wise decision that should be consider by the everyone. If you dream of getting a higher return, you cannot do shortcuts. You have to be aggressive in the pursuit of your dreams by investing in various channels so that you have more chances of profiting, thereby losses will be divided. You have high chances of going long way if you keep on investing in various promising markets.

BTC and ETH are two different things and cater the solution to two different issues. Since BTC is is the first player of the blockchain, it gained momentum long back and now growing at a massive rate. On the other hand, ETH was launched much later and it might take some more time to reach the level of where Bitcoin is standing today.  As far as speculative gain is concerned, I am bullish on both the options considering long term.

Just like any other people would say, just split your holding to 2 of them, dont put your egg in one basket

Depends on your policy. If you want quick money in short period of time then bitcoin is the best option. But  today bitcoin is gone out of hands of common investors. If you already have investments in bitcoin currency and now you want to invest more than ethereum is the best option. Ethereum or all other altcoins are working under the shadow of bitcoin currency. So they have good future, it is the best option and time to invest in ethereum. One more option is there if you have earned a lot in bitcoin then you can divert your profit from bitcoin to altcoins like ethereum.

I think Ethereum is very suitable for those who want to invest considering now Bitcoin price is too high, although small ETH but we can see the progress achieved by ETH recently.
but you also have to be patient if you invest because it takes no time to gain profit.

I had gone with ethereum too, but now I am quite regreted as my profit would be much more if I have chosen bitcoin at that time. but i think ethereum will catch up some time soon, i believe.

You should invest in both. It is really worth it to invest in bitcoin and also ethereum because you will not miss any opportunity in your portfolio because both of them are keep on going up so having bitcoin and ethereum is the best combination for an investor who is targeting for long term investment.

why not, look at the once-worthless bitcoin and now the high bitcoin price, the possibility of ethereum will also follow, because the longer it will be that many people are looking for other alternatives like ethereum to invest. but chances are the price of ethereum will not be as high as bitcoin.

It depends on you and what coin do you want to invest and besides they can both give you a huge returns anyways if you invested in right time although bitcoin is kinda fluctuating so, i think it's not necessary to invest on bitcoins and hold it in long term invest and hold it in short term if you want to get an easy money and if you want a more stability then invest in ethereum or instead of investing in one coin then invest on both like most of us doing.

In what I see, both ethereum and bitcoin has its differences. You can choose either of them and will give you great profit in the long term.

Both have infinite possibilities of giving high profits, but by the looks of it the most promising and the one that gives off high profit is bitcoin, so I think it's best to invest in bitcoin than etheruem.

in last 3 months bitcoin core goes from about 10 000 $ to currently near to 19 000 $
so its dopppeled in this time almost and etherium only makes from 500$  to  700$
but still both got profit rates :D but i trust in Bitcoin !
