Title: Questions for in-person BTC/cash exchangers Post by: Chris Acheson on July 01, 2011, 03:36:01 PM I'm thinking of buying and selling bitcoins locally, mainly as a way to make it easier for people to get involved in the bitcoin economy. I know some other bitcoiners are doing this as well, so I'm interested in getting some advice on how to go about it.

I've been watching Ubitex since it opened, and honestly it doesn't seem very useful at the moment. At the very least, I'd want the ability to tie my prices on there to the prices on other exchanges, like you can in #bitcoin-otc. For advertising, I was planning on just putting something up on craigslist; maybe mentioning it on facebook too. |
