bought bitcoin in 2015 didnt believe in it. missed the train. bought again around 2-3k but diversified it to altcoins.
will you still buy in this current price? or do you believe a correction is near?

Depends on the amount of money you want to invest, for me every day it's the right day to get some BTC, if you wait for the right moment you will end to never buy.

Of course I won't buy it now. It's better to buy ethers now. They cost less, but also grow. Moreover, they grow not that fast, so it doesn't seem to be a bubble soon. Lastly, there is Vitalik Buterin that basically is responsible for Etherium. If it will fall, he's gonna be blamed. Bitcoin doesn't have a person behind it.

Well looks like you missed a good opportunity to make some cash while the bitcoin price reached 11k. I think you have done what most "resaonable" traders would do. Holding the btc is good but its important that you grab the opportunity of entering into potentially good altcoins which I am sure you would have done with the bitcoin.

I wont buy anymore at this price. However the dump may happen soon. It has happened once but it may happen soon again and that is why I suggest you to wait for a dump making a target of anything less than 9.5k USD as a buy order.

There is no guarantee that ethereum will be as profitable as bitcoin in future. Also blaming someone makes the person look bad in from of the plaintiff but it does not solve any problem.

To advocate Vitalik a little bit I would say that BTC have a bunch of douchebags that develop the core and also BTC have evil asians performing attacks on it to btomote bitcoin cash. If ETH will fail I won't blame Vitalik, he is doing a great job comparig with other crpytos devs.

As long as it is volatile, oscillating and a good price movement everyday is a good day to buy bitcoin regardless of its price. The only advantage of buying or trading crypto like btc is you don't need to buy a whole instead you can buy it at a portion that's why it gives an opportunity to a small time traders. The point is if you believe like many of us in Bitcoin you can invest. I know that feeling thinking it was 200$, 1000$ and 5000$ now is 11K it's too expensive. Look on this from a different point of view, you invest a small amount of money in BTC and watch how it grow, it really doesn't matter if you buy for 500 or less, as long as you are comfortable with that. I sold it back in December 2015 - 2 BTC for 1000$, never regret this or think about it. This is quiet difficult question for us. $10000 is quiet big number to invest in any one currency. Earlier bitcoins target predicted by experts was $5000. Bitcoins rising popularity and its price gave new target of $10000 by end of 2017. But this volatile currency achieved it a month prior. But after archiving that target bitcoin slipped 21% and settled near $9000. This sudden and sharp movement is shacking our faith and trust about bitcoin. Addition to that even after such a good rise in value many experts are still calling bitcoin as a bubble. Many countries are still planning to ban or regulate bitcoins. All these news are twisting our mind.

Honestly I cant buy nowadays with this high price, or only I can buy small amounts. But I keep working for Bitcoin and collecting my earning which is also profitable, since the price keep increasing highly. The price maybe will decrease a bit so we can buy again.

I would. If you think about it, at some point the 10k mark will become the new floor, and later when people talk about 'buy during the dip' the 10k will be that dip and people will regret not buying. But if we're talking about right now, I think it would be ok to buy since we know the price will keep going  up and it is very unlikely that you lose money. And newcomers don't have a choice, at this moment the price is around the $11500 so buying at 10k is pretty much buying cheap coins.

It does not matter if you buy now or wait after the correction, because lets face it no matter how much the price of bitcoin will go down you are always garentead to get profit because it always comes back up again, for me this a good thing and a bad thing as well, because buying bitcoin means that i am palanning to sell it at some point, but unlik the other altcoins, buying and selling bitcoin is not easy, it is a one time only thing once you sell your coins you are likely less to be able to rebuy them again because the price practicly never goes down, it is good if you plan on not to sell bitcoin for years but it makes bitcoin trading nearly impossible.

Right now it's hard to tell because the price seems to be consolidating around $10.000, so everything can happen after this consolidation. It could face a correction, since the rise for these highs was quite fast, or it could grow even further because institutional investors are coming in with the bitcoin futures provided by the CME Group. The market has been testing the $12k from time to time so it's possible to start climbing again. I think I would sell around $9k, because it would probably mean that a correction was starting to happen, and we never know how big these dips can be, but I would also by around $12k because it could mean that a new climb in price is about to happen.

With the upcoming CME and the possible uptrend of price, I think I have to wait until the hype goes down.  This CME news is one of the reason why bitcoin in on an uptrend now.  So waiting for the correction is the best way to get bitcoin at cheaper price.  Though honestly, If the new floor is 10k, I would definitely buy Bitcoin at that price since the market is very promising and there is no other way for Bitcoin but to go up with all these updates and adoption.

If you're planning on holding it it's a good buy. We are still on the beginning and far away from mainstream adoption. Since Bitcoin has limited supply the price can easly go up 10x, 100x in the following years. You just need to be prepared to hold and not panic sell.

Doesn't care about the current prices and I've been doing it since $200 though I don't have that much money but the good thing is that I invested to bitcoin. Buying bitcoin now are not typically good idea, since bitcoin price now are continuously raising up. Moreover we don't know how long it will be increasing value because there's a lot of competition in crypto currency community. However if you have high numbers of money to invest I guess it's okay, also if you do this make sure that you can hold your bitcoin for long run of time.

In altcoin you can say. Its better didnt get one instead of you get it at the peak.

If you think that this market is still in its infancy and 2017 was per say the year of awareness and 2018 the year of massive adoption, due to the number of projects that will make bitcoin spendable in the regular market, $10.000 is a cheap price, with the massive adoption, and also hedging, future and all of that the price will soar. Correction, absolutely, but in long term is a clear upward trend.

It is not risky at all to buy at 10000USD even more as bitcoin crossed the mark of 10k and is has been corrected at that level now bitcoin is bounce back and performing well to the target level of 15000USD I believe that this mark is very quickly will be achieved and at that level also if I get chance to buy for sure I will buy.

This is a hard thing to decide 10k is quite expensive to buy, but what if it was already been corrected and the price continue to increase until next year? Now, this is purchasing Bitcoin in a much risky situation than before coz we're dealing a huge amount of capital, thats what will always come to our mind first. In my opinion it's still good to buy now. You can still afford it now. I still believe that BTC will still go up to $50,000. So if you will buy now you will still have big profit in the future. I think 10 of the price, in the present view, is a more reasonable price. But the encrypted currency is always up and down, and you need to pay attention to the risk. If you want to get high returns, you can buy some other coins, and it's hard to break through 15K in the short term.

Considering long term, yes! However, I am expecting a correction soon (which is delayed due to the game of institutional investors). I believe that Bitcoin is going to perform very well in the long run and hence buying it for the long term is not a bad idea. However, considering the volatility in the price, I would pick my favourite method of a systematic investment plan in order to acquire funds instead of buying in one single shot.

The last time I purchased Bitcoin was in 2014. After that I have received Bitcoins mostly through signature campaigns, altcoin bounties, advertising revenue and airdrops. Since then I have sold some of my coins, but never purchased any. I guess that is going to be the case this time as well.

Yes.  Always buying bits of bitcoin within my budget at any price.  I try not to pay attention to the current price, rather my bitcoin total.  I have seen too many people get worked up about the price at which they bought and whether it drops or goes up, I try to explain it is more fun to consistently buy and hodl.

BTC is not a bubble;

tulips... the price was high because of hoarding, then people wizened up and realized that you can just grow more (infinite supply)
housing... supply was available, so artificial demand was created by lending to unqualified homebuyers, and supply increased, the buyers disappeared and defaulted

Bitcoin is finite, only legitimately creditable (though there is some argument about manufactured coin and current scheming (just make sure your shit is on the chain, I don't care if the kids all say "that isht is off the chain, yo" ... )

Bitcoin represents a paradigm shift of the world's wealth into the digital era, imagine if someone told you to 'just ignore that internet fad' back in 1995.  Netscape Who? ...

So, depending on who you ask, there is somewhere around $80T of 'currency' in the world (broad money), and somewhere around $200T of total global debt.  Without talking about narrow money, or it's implications on price, or getting into derivatives or other debt, let's just consider the broad money example.

Very oversimplified math goes as such:  If just ONE PERCENT of this $80T USD moves into Bitcoin, we have a nominal value of $38,095/BTC.  Let that sink in.

Narrow money is about $29T, so if 1% of that moves over, yields a $13,809 coin, so that's about where we are at now, and institutional money is coming.

BTC will not be the only crypto into which this wealth flows, but I believe that it will be one of the few that sustains and continues to set value.  Does anyone believe that a 1% adoption rate is where this 'fad' will stop?  How many people used the internet in 1990?  1995?  Today?

21 million bitcoins total supply, 1% of just the broad money moves in, ~$40k coin...so yes, a ~$10k coin is still a buy, and should be for most people.  That said, there may be some bumpy territory getting there.  ;)

As far as the developments of the price to date, indeed it has proved its price tends moving to more higher, and I'm still convinced.. it would be continue sustained slowly but sure.

And I don't think that would be a problem for those who really already have strong intention and optimistic to make an investment, especially for people who have a lot of money.. surely this is a good opportunity to opened profit opportunities for them to investing in bitcoin.

Bitcoin has a huge market volume so the answer for the question is "yes".
This volume means it will increase in future but it is hard to predict the maximum limits for next month of for next year.
It seems it is still a good income tool.

Honestly, I'd still buy bitcoins even if it reaches $11,000. I'm confident that the money I invested with bitcoin will still go up even if I invested a little on bitcoins. I based my predictions on the graph of price and I saw the trend of the price. It's just going up.

Yes i probably will. You see despite corrections, the price is always climbing and its not stopping. I wouldn't risk not buying because of fear of corrections. A lot has happened before but still bitcoin price is higher than ever.

Of course, as long it's affordable to me I'll still buy without thinking twice. The price is unstoppable and nothing to worry if you bought in $10k as we still have and will be sitting in our profit. Every day is always a good chance to buy and don't wait too long as you didn't know you actually missing the train.

I think we all have this regrets that we didnt buy when the price few years ago is not as much as today. Well the current price is expensive for me to buy, i believe a correction will happen in the coming days and i will wait and take my time. My answer would be still a big yes because if we look at the graph of value of bitcoin, we could see that it is consistent in increasing with a few drop or decrease but stil the value increased much more than on what it dropped.
