Title: The USA officially recognized Bitcoin — what now?
Post by: last7minutes on December 03, 2017, 02:31:10 PM
The United States officially recognized Bitcoin. Soon the sale of BTC on Chicago Mercantile Exchange will start. The event is planned to December, 18. I wonder, how will it affect the price of BTC? Does it mean there will be another jump of this crypto?

If this is true. It is definitely a big deal for bitcoins prices. Because it is definitely worth the price of bitcoins and is likely to reach $ 20,000 next year. The future of bitcoins is really good for the next few years. so keep us holding our bitcoins. Because we are sure to earn a great deal here and it will be our key to get out of poverty.

Well it should, but in crypto is always hard to tell, since most people act by emotion so we have the typical "buy the rumors, sell the news" effect. So we could see a sell of bitcoin once things go live, but in theory this shouldn't happen. The CME is no directly related to the bitcoin price, since they are not actually buying and selling bitcoin, but it creates the chance for arbitrage, so the prices of both bitcoin and CME bitcoin futures index should be very close. Since institutional investors can easily invest tons of money using CME, that means that if the price goes up there, the price of bitcoin will follow.
Bitcoin futures also open the door for ETFs, and when this happens, then we will see even more drastic changes in BTC price.
So yes, we will probably see big jumps in the bitcoin price, and it's market cap will soon be competing with gold (we will need to reach $40k per bitcoin, but I think we will reach those values before 2020).

If thats the true news then I want to see it from where its coming really. Because the thing is there always rumours like this spreading eggs all over the board. The USA country was the one who did not like the idea of ICO and crypto in general because there Wall Street was sleeping because of it. I have heard it in confirmed way that they don't like the crypto but if you are seeing that this is official news and they are going to launch exchanger through the US then thats really great news. This will open up doors for the millions of legit investors from the US base and thus will drive more investment into. As per my knowledge US has got rich people and are willing to invest into crypto as always. So they will surely put the new hallmark of price per bitcoin after 18th of December.

People keep saying this but it is irrelevant it does not matter if a country creates their own crypto, they are going to create a crypto that is going to be very different from bitcoin, it is going to be centralized, not anonymous or pseudonymous, the government will track everything you do, they are going to be able to print as much of their crypto as they want, they will be able to freeze their money, if they want to create hundreds of those cryptos I do not have a problem, we are going to keep using bitcoin.

Why do you say "If this is true" when it is old news and well-established as fact?

It is incredible how fast things can change in the world of crypto, just a few days ago 20k before the end of the next year seemed like an all right number but we reached 18k just yesterday it may be even possible we reach that amount of money in just a few days, which is crazy, at this point almost any prediction that we make for bitcoin could become a reality if the price of bitcoin keeps growing at this pace.

Of course it will influence on bitcoin price.
It will be getting higher and higher. because the more knows and join or interested in bitcoin, the higher its price will go. They'll pump or get more bitcoins that makes the market being green, but only if the news's true, cause nowadays people only just spreading false rumour without any trusted source to drive people.

If bitcoin would move towards a more centralized way due to all the incoming rules and regulation, I will start losing my interest in it.

Be careful about this event. This means banks and funds will be able to buy large amount of BTCs, if they will own 20/30% of market share, they would be able to pump the price and short in few minutes to get profit, the effects could be devastating for small investors.
Be careful and smart.

This is not really different than what the whales are already doing in bitcoin, whales know they own the market and they can manipulate it as they see fit since they are holding bitcoin so it does not matter the amount of fiat in the market they are still holding huge amounts of bitcoin it is going to be interesting what it is going to happen once bankers get more bitcoin we are probably going to see huge battles between the bankers and the whales.

There's already a huge jump due to whales and newbies in the market.

Bitcoin are decentralized , there is no way to make it centralized no matter if then there's someone who hold more than 50% out of total Bitcoin available.sooner or later when they decide to sell it all it will be back to centralized just the matter of time.

If USA is officially recognized by Bitcoin, then it is a happy news for Bitcoin community. Along with this, it will affect Bitcoin prices. Its price will only increase, because the people of the USA can now use it directly. As a result both the number and demand of the users will increase.
Even those who are involved with it will benefit everyone.

Bitcoin will start recovering this April and it will continue until November. By december a huge price jump will occur and that is the reason why major holders does not mind the price drop at this moment. Only small traders and newbies in the industry have panicked due to the bad news but soon bitcoin will start going up again so let us just hold for today.

It's good time to buy right now because today's market cap is too low but be careful of your emotion if you buy high then the market crash, dont sell. You need to start with a low percentage of your fiat not to go all in

If there is a news about it, it can make the bitcoin rise a little bit if that's the case. But it defends with those big holders if they will try to sell their holdings already. But i hope that would help the rise of current price of bitcoin today.
