Title: Race your coins and win up to 78%
Post by: ds2013 on July 06, 2013, 04:15:39 PM
coinrun@bits2win.com (http://coinrun.bits2win.com) is a bitcoin racing game. Ten players take part in a race. The player with the fastest coin wins the biggest part of the pot. The player with the slowest coin still wins a small part of the pot. Coinspeed is calculated by transaction timestamps. The game is not spamming the network and provably fair. Everything can be verified in the blockchain (https://blockchain.info).

Try it and have fun! Click here (http://coinrun.bits2win.com) to play.

What is the motivation in sending more than .01? I just ask because it says "Send 0.01 or more"

The answer can be found in the FAQ:

Can I send more then BTC 0.01?
Yes, but always send a multiple of 0.01. You will then start in races with higher coin values or in more than one race (until the entire amount is consumed).

Here is an example of someone who sent 0.02. (http://coinrun.bits2win.com/checkTx.php?txid=c4c77b3c3161fc212b5e49e96b647474663b8099105ad3c2ff38c3d0c16388f1)

If enough people (10+) would send more the coin value of a race would be higher and so the absolute winnings too.

Interesting website, you may want to rephrase it a bit, 'every 2nd coin wins' is confusing and should be something lilke '1 in 2 chance of winning'.

Please read the FAQ (http://coinrun.bits2win.com/faq.php):
There is a 50% chance to win.  If you're not one of the lucky winners you will lose some BTC, but never all. Even the least coin wins a small part of the pot.

Try your luck now! (http://coinrun.bits2win.com/)

It is gambling, the goal of the site is to extract the maximum amount of BTC from you. Never gamble more than you can afford to loose and remember that the house (site) always wins in the end.

May i know what determine the transaction speed for bitcoin ?  Speed of internet ?
FAQ (http://coinrun.bits2win.com/faq.php) says:

How is the speed of a coin calculated?
Every transaction has a time when it was first seen in the network (timereceived) and a time when it was included in a block (blocktime). The difference between those two timestamps is calculated as a laziness factor. The higher it is (the more time a payment needed to be included in a block) the slower is the coin. The least lazy coin in a race wins the biggest part of the pot. If there are two or more coins with the same laziness in the same race, the alphabetical order of the transaction id decides which coin is faster.
