Did your AsRock H81 PRO BTC R2.0 detect 6 GPUs out-of-the-box or you were required to: 1) Change BIOS settings 2) Change CPU (probably some CPUs can't detect more that number of GPUs) 3) Other, please specify What expert quick tips I can get from the members who have 6 GPUs successful operational experience with H81. Which edition/version? Would be looking for community's suggestions. I was following this thread and seems its still a detection issue with Windows 10. Windows 10 Pro is the best for mining, if it doesn't detect out of the box enter in Bios change anything like PCIE slot and after the restart it will detect automatically. My personal experience with this board is that it recognizes automatically the cards, at least that was my case with 6x RX 570 8GB Sapphire Nitro. No I believe it is ok, it is much better than G1840 and actually the processor doesn't play an important role in detecting hardware, the motherboard does. So as long as you have one of the best motherboards for mining it should be no problem. |
