Thanks for sharing that one fake exchange that you do mention on your own forum.  ;D. Feels like this is just like a clickbait.lol. Fake exchanges do really exist but as a sensible person why would go on shady exchange if you can anytime go or make use into those reputable ones.

thanks for the info, but most traders will choose popular sites for trading and arbitration, maybe for beginners could be fooled with fake exchange, but usually a beginner will ask questions about where to trade..

There is a lot of fake exchanges, and that is what you called phising sites, that is why I have noticed, even [h]myetherwallet.com[/h] have a phising site, so if you guys don't want to be a victim of fake exchanges, then start book marking the important sites that you are using, because if you are goin to google it then you might get the phising sites instead of the legit one, so don't click without double checking the site that you are entering.

Thanks for the warning.

Indeed scammers are becoming smarter & smarter day by day.
They are approaching with new techniques every time to find their victims.
I think scammers are getting good results by f***ing victims and that's why they are spending money to build their trap every time.
If we were/are more cautious in our every steps, than scammers may have been lost forever. They would think that "our victims are smarter than us now".

I just want to say, if we become cautious and smarter then one day there will be no scammer.

Thank you for this expose on fake and fraud invested exchanges. You can also notice series of wrong English sentences with mistakes in every part of their writing. They are out to lure you with all these bogus figures.

Credit goes to the OP for bringing this to light and just like the old saying: a problem shared is a problem solved.
If we all remain vigilant, we are certainly going to put these cheap knockoffs out of business for trying to scam people of their hard earned money.

Quote
I just want to say, if we become cautious and smarter then one day there will be no scammer.
Agree, if all of these scams are exposed I think there will no tricks left for these scammers

Thanks for this reminder but at the end of the day, it's a user's responsibility to check what exchanges they are dealing with. There is no excuse for being a newbie since the moment they plan on investing money on exchanges, they must conduct a research if the exchange is worth to put some money to do trades.

Can't believe some people will just put money on a certain random exchange.

Excelent way to promote your own forum/site whatever it is .

Full post can be found here: https://cctalk.io/index.php?topic=134.0

I would never click the link in there of course, most people that we have in here are not to silly to join a fake exchange, and there is no need to create one of those shitty guides about how to not be scammed in a fake one.

Guys, do not open it, nobody knows what is going to happen.

Please , stop using clickbait in order to get more views and try to rank out your forum/site in google, because it is annoying.

I am gonna report this, what a waste of time.

Even if a newbie could get click baited normally dont do anything rash such as filling up forms or anything that can be stolen online such as credit card etc. from the site this message is for the OP you should evaluate everything there are some trusted though just stick to it.

Not only that, but fake bitcoin mining hardware selling sites as well. This is the result of bitcoin becoming more popular everyday and scammers trying to take advantage of it.

Thanks for the fair warning @OP. But while do people used fake exchanges when there is a lot of trusted trading platforms around? I would understand fake mining gear which got a lot of unsuspecting victims, but traders? I don't think so. Traders have better judgement not to fall from this all fake exchanges going around.

There is a website to list all types of bitcoin related ponzis http://www.badbitcoin.org/ but they mostly list bitcoin related HYIP scams.

There is also fake poloniex app being spreaded over play store and poloniex have already posted warning for this and fake myetherwallet also got in top downloaded apps list before being removed from play store.

Many newbies easily got scammed by them as they don't know which is fake and which is real.

The cryptocurrency market is growing so fast and crypto is so valuable that it is targeted by hackers and scammers. Please save the commercial page on the browser bookmark that you use, always use 2 layers security with your account, use 2FA security to protect the account, keep private key carefully. These are some of the ways you can use to protect your account.

Sadly, there are really fake exchanges that we should be aware of. Now that the value of cryptos is getting widely known all over the world, and people are getting more desperate in earning money, they use their skills and potential to steal and scam from other people, which is sad because they can use it in a more efficient and helpful way.

The number of Cyber criminals is increasing with every passing moment. Most of us would have been through such situations.

It is not really hard to get into a scammer nowadays when plenty of them are everywhere. The main reason is the ease of pulling tricks using internet and the remote access it provides to bad people. They don’t need to be physically present at the spot and neither it is easy to trace them out.

People who do not know to check trustworthy of service they use will
hook up on this kind of scams. Pishing sites, hacking, anything can happen
if you do not pay attention on what you are doing and where do you spent
time online.
Beware of fake everything! Today everything and everyone have a fake
cousin! Scammers are smarter and they use all sorts of tricks, we must be
aware of that! That is why checking and researching is something that
everyone should do before giving money to any online service.

Crypto related sites should be also aware from putting sponsored ads in their site. Sometimes random ads are showing fake exchange sites, fake ico sites.
These mafia are paying a lot to win the bid, but in return they are getting a hundred folds from fake bounties and fake paper wallet sites.

For me that link given by the OP is not working so I will try sometime later to see what about it says.

But we need to aware of fake wallets too, nowadays lots of crypto currency wallets are available in the playstore most of them were just scam so never put your crypto currency there before seeing the feedbacks or reviews from others.

This online world is much amalgamated and affected with harmful people who are always taking their benefits out of yours. They use you to get their fruits. So before getting into practical world, one must have to make a strong research where a suitable and authentic, the legitimate exchanges are marked. Only then after authenticating, take a tour with them along the way.

Yes, because it is important for the crypto-user to be wary and to be secure. The world of crypto is still very susceptible to scams and little can be done yet to catch these scammers. The government is on it's way to step in but for now, we must be cautious because plenty scams are rampant. These scammers are very clever because they are able to fool even those who are already experienced. We must protect our accounts because bitcoin is decentralized and there may be no other way to recover our holdings from a decentralized wallet or exchange.

I have just read the newspaper, warned the virtual trading platform, fraud to take over your wallet account. By the way they advertise on facebook, Telegram. attach the links, then click on and log into the wallet page of the criminals, then your account will be controlled by them and they will steal all your coin.

There are many hackers and scammers that have the proper skills to make nice theft. Newbies in the crypto field are the ones who are being left as victims in the end. There are also many tutorials and warnings all over the network that are providing positive and very instructive solutions on avoiding the possible scams.

Like you quoted; desperation for money is common in our time and network thefts with many different techniques can be seen online and without the proper education about the possible scams many traders which ain't protected can lose their money.

Since the crypto world is developing so quick it isn't astounding that numerous individuals will do anything only for them to trick individuals, that is the reason it is so critical to be additional cautious in exchanging your cash the same number of individuals won't falter to do things only for them to have an income sans work.

There are some pishing sites of exchanges that we aren't aware that we already sign in our accounts so next time we better check first the url before signing to avoid hacking or scamming.

I think it is not so difficult to identify the right place to exchange your currencies, although the number of exchanges are now increasing too much, but i think there are some old and reliable exchanges who are really providing a very good services and if you will put your money there i hope that your money will be too much safe there.

Yes, it is easy to find reputable trading sites. Please send your property to Binance, Poloniex, Kucoin, ... which are reputable trading sites and you will not have to fear losing property.
I have been working on that site for 2 years and I have never lost my money. And I advise you not to believe in new trading websites, there are many fraudsters in that trading site.

There is another way for scammers. In order for a person to get a fork of a coin they are asked to show through a Skype a purse. In the wallet, you can scan your smartphone with a QR-code. The scammer scans it via Skype and transfers the money. Be careful.
