BAZINGAcoin is creating the worlds first decentralized internet joke database to document the best jokes ever written by man so it can be historically proven when the joke was written and when it was acknowledged. The rules are simple: You laugh you BAZINGA. The platform will be available on youlaughyoubazinga.com. Everyone will be able to write jokes they believe that are BAZINGA-worthy. Jokes are text-only anonymous contributions that can be rewarded with 1 BAZINGA per ethereum address. We believe in the science of the joke. Jokes should be objectively funny disregarding sex, appearance or age. We want to know the core of the joke and what makes people tick. Every joke will be anchored to the ethereum blockchain and you will be able to "BAZINGA" each joke with 1 BAZINGAcoin per address with MetaMask. Every BAZINGAcoin will be rewarded to the ethereum address of the writer. Every joke is anonymous and this rule will never be modified. There is no downvote, there is no upvote, only BAZINGA.

It's basically text-based only. We want to remove all variables that make a joke work and focus solely on a piece of text. Since it's anonymous, the motivation for people to post just to have "content" on their website or have more viewers for their profile is removed.

Info on YLYB:
The platform will be available on youlaughyoubazinga.com. Everyone will be able to write jokes they believe that are BAZINGA-worthy. Jokes are text-only anonymous contributions that can be rewarded with 1 BAZINGA per ethereum address.

The jokes will be JSON encoded each year on the 31st of december. After that, they will be anchored to an ethereum contract with JSON and everyone will be able to read them on the contract. The ether to create the contract will be from the ether received from the ICO.

We're working to make YLYB as decentralized as possible in case the website is closed down by a third party. So the source code for the website will be on github for anyone to use.

We've been able to acquire ylyb.org, so it might be on that domain.

No, we're specifically not censoring anything, because we're against censorship. We just want to create the most uncensored / decentralized comedy platform to record every meme / joke written.

If I write 10 jokes to contribute in bazinga, how much do I earn?

Each ethereum address can contribute 1 BZC per joke / meme. So if your post has 3000 BZC's, you'll get 3000 BZC's.

It's not ready yet, we're working on it. We got a bit ambitious and we're going to try to release it before 2018!

Any plans on having your own mobile apps? Youlaugh bazinga apps, for example.

Yeah we can develop apps, however, we have to check how metamask evolves. In the mean time, metamask for chrome should suffice for most people.

UPDATE:

We're probably going to use 50 BZC for submitting posts and 50 BZC for rewards. (THIS MIGHT CHANGE) We're open for suggestions on the amount to be paid. If we make the posts free, the database would be flooded a bit too much and we have to think about scaling.

So we're going to make a circular system in which people can buy BZC from bazingacoin.com for ether, and submit posts with BZC on youlaughyoubazinga.com. We can use the ether for database costs + making ethereum contracts (for the JSON data of all posts) on the blockchain.

We've thought about implications on a lot of random posts, however, we're still not going to monitor it.
It would defeat the purpose of decentralization.

Having your own mobile apps is really a good idea, but you still have to consider a lot of things before doing a decentralize mobile apps.

It's do-able. The consideration is mostly going to be testing on the browser platform. After we know how much BZC for a post / reward is the most functional. We can jump right into a mobile app.

However, we're first going to try if we can use ethereum contracts as databases, for now it's a hybrid DAPP. We might switch over to making it almost fully DAPP with the GUI being centralized only and the source of the GUI being on github.
