Title: I want to order a Miner from Bitmain but don't trust them.
Post by: Jeff701 on December 05, 2017, 12:48:33 AM
Has anyone here successfully purchased from Bitmain?  It seems they have horrible communication and sending money via bankwire really seems risky to me.

The people on Ebay are downright price gouging selling these machines.

Can anyone help a newb?  I want to purchase a S9 and a L3+

If you can help facilitate the transaction I'll buy ya a beer or two LOL.

Thanks

Jeff

They don't have horrible communication it just takes awhile. Its best to get one main sales connection and keep ordering through that person. Develop a sales relationship so you can get orders in or if you know someone who usually orders through them try and get your order in with theirs so you get your equipment faster.

I've heard of a company called Canaan, but I haven't checked how good they are.
There is also DragonMint, but I guess you will have to wait for them to put the miners on the line.

Bitmain has been trusted as a miner company, it is safe to buy from them as you are guaranteed to receive your rig right at your doorstep.

However, recently they have been known to ship their orders late, so expect your rig will arrive later than expected, especially in Christmas Season as shipping company will be busy and may not be able to ship your items into your country until January.

Your purchase will be delayed on purpose. They will use your mining rig until it is unprofitable due to difficulty increase, then they will ship your cargo.

I have understand about the bitmain site bro but they are delaying the production and delivery long time this made people go towards the dealers who is selling it for high price.
Still some people says that delivery is faster and it is reach with 20 days after ordering the international shipping.
I think even that delay also happening due to bulk order made by the resellers only.

Bitmain (https://www.bitmain.com/) is legit and thousands of people have already purchased from them unless you've used a phishing site which is very popular right now. Every week there will be someone here who will ask if this X site is legit and so on. But as the above users have mentioned, A pleasant transaction might not be guaranteed. Currently a lot of users has been complaining regarding their support and shipping as well as other things.

As an alternative you can try www.antminerdistribution.com. I've never used it by there's a lot of positive feedback about them. You can try doing a simple google search for that as well as visiting their facebook page which can be found on their site. Apparently facebook tagged them as "Typically replies within a day" which is decent imo. Reversible payment methods are also present so you're technically safe.

As far as I know s9 is currently out of stock so you might wanna subscribe on their newsletters for that.
