A bit of BTC speculation for you. Where do you see Bitcoin going by the end of 2018? http://bitcoin-bug.com/2017/11/28/bitcoin-easily-reach-40000-end-2018/

I believe it would reach 100k by the end of 2018  ;D ;D

I can see bitcoin will rise up to more than 20000$. Many people are now interested in crypto because of bitcoin and because of that bitcoin will grow and shine like a diamond. It maybe go down but surely will rise up more than 20000$.

I hope the bitcoin price will reach upto $25K by the end of 2018,but your article says it will reach $40K by 2018 easily but I don't think it is not an easy matter it is an huge amount.But anything can be possible in bitcoin world so we have to wait until the end of 2018 to know how mich it will reach.

For me it will grow more always because he is becoming always more famous therefore I think both only the beginning but i don't know if it will slowly grow or quickly.

I see bitcoin up to 200k $ by the end of 2018, has top companies like amazon, apples, would adopt it...

Not at all.I was dam sure that  bitcoin will not reach 100k $ at the end of 2018 .Bitcoin price will reach the maximum value of 25k$ at the end of 2018.This year start the price of bitcoin was 1000$ at the end the price was 13000$ sure .So if it reaches as like this year means the maximum value of bitcoin will be 25,000$.

I think we'll see a repeat of the late 2013 spike tbh.

First we'll see a steep correction, panic sell from that will cause the price to drop further, btc ney sayers will start with the i told you so's (like in 2013), price goes nowhere for a while, people write it off as dead/burst bubble and start to forget about it (like in 2014/15), then eventually it'll start to gain momentum again indicating another boom.

Basically I think 2018 will bring some great opportunity to buy low for cash out in 2-3 years when the cycle is repeating even stronger.

I don't know why you guys don't think practically. Its really impossible for the bitcoin price to touch 200k dollars by the end of 2018. It will be better when you write something in this forum, just think about it and then write .It may touch 25000 or 30000 dollars by the end of next year, if its going in this way and I don't see a set back in the case of bitcoins.

Not that quick! It's a total different story for talking about $100,000. We will be there but not that fast on that year. There will be a big support on $20,000 - $40,000 as Novogratz said it will be reached next year.


It's a topic and you are just trying to promote your website here, make your own thread and talk about that topic there, just saying.

This is impossible in digital world because Bitcoin is cryptocurrency and it is decentralised currency so in future it will raise or fall whatever happens in 2018. But my prediction is 30k us dollar is possible in end of 2018. Because in current market is favour by Bitcoin so it will raise and some fluctuation in digital market. This is the actual situation in Bitcoin.

It seems to me that in the new year bitcoin can also do x10 to its price and reach a cost of $ 100,000. It is certainly hard to believe, but why not? ;)

i have been reading all year how people are asking will bitcoin reach $1500,
will bitcoin go past $2000, will bitcoin reach $5000 in 2017?
the price cannot be predicted, it could fall after reaching $12500, it could
reach $20000 or $50000, who knows but it is going up!!

it seems that he is somewhat promoting his own site. well nobody knows as well on how much does bitcoin go for the next year or maybe for the next few years, but i've heard quiet plenty of people talking that it will be soon very high that we might not know how far already it goes.

Yeah that was very motivating read up there. However, it is far from reaching the price of 40,000. Can you imagine how much market capitalism it will need to get that much high? Well it would be 4 times more than what we are looking currently. I mean it is always easy or it was easy for bitcoin to get the prices of 5K from 2K because it was little market cap to reach. Step by step it reached the price of 11K today. However one year period is very tough for the bitcoin to reach the rate of 40K.

Anyway, I got more attracted to one point that they mentioned, the Ethereum might tipple in next year. Yeah now thats the best thing to focus on. Ethereum is really getting hiked now a days and as I said how it take market cap in our calculation for ether to reach from 500 USD to 1500 is as easy as it was for bitcoin in earlier days. So thats possible.

my predictions about price of bitcoin in 2018 Q1 is around $15000, its because poeple in the world right now is curious about bitcoin, so they want to earn bitcoin and want to hold their bitcoin, my speculation is in 2018 people that curious with bitcoin is increasing so the price if bitcoin is increasing too

I definitely believe that bitcoin will hit the 100k marks by the end of 2018. Hopefully i have enough bitcoin in my wallet by the end of 2018.

No one will tell you the exact maximum price for bitcoin. There are no predictors and psychics here. Earn bitcoins and do not take your head into strange questions. But the fact that bitcoin will grow in the next year is 100%

End of 2018, not 2017. I am pretty sure it will touch 15k by the end of the current year, or thereabouts. Then it will surely have a correction after this long bull run comes to an end. I can see the value of Bitcoin being 2-3 times the current value this time next year. Maybe more, maybe less. It is very hard to predict something so volatile. It definitely won't be 15k though!

i can not sure will bitcoin reach 30000$ in next year or not but i can say it may rise higher than 15000$ in next year.

He is promoting his site for his own purpose. And getting back to the topic, no one knows but everyone does have their own prediction. Let's go with that "high" speculation as some says it will be stable at $20,000 and there is one prediction says that it will be good at $40,000 for this year so I'm in with any of those predictions since all of them are higher than the current price of bitcoin and I'm in favor of it.

A few weeks ago I would have say, something like "around its current levels, maybe a bit higher but not that much"..

But if you consider what keeps on happening... Well  must say I don't have any idea! Maybe vero loooow to make up for 2017 peaks, maybe even higher.. If I knew, believe me, I would feel better when I am trading!  ;)

Some guys here, who speak about 20 thousand for Bitcoin by the end of 2017 seem to me real fans of BTC. The correction is coming and it might happen when the coin price grows up to 14 thousand.

To be honest, I hope that Bitcoin wont exceed the $15,000 range in 2018. This sharp price rise cannot be healthy for our space, I think we need a slow organic growth driven my widespread adoption. What we are witnessing now and probably will continue to witness when price keeps soaring up this fast is just pure speculation and big players playing the market. Bitcoin was intended to be currency that is used, now it has become just a  commodity.

At this rate and with mainstream adoption coming, starting with CME futures shortly and the inevitable snow ball effect due to that ... end of 2018, 100k is a super low estimate.

by looking at the ever-increasing Bitcoin movement, I think and according to my friend's Bitcoin will touch $ 20 000 and even higher. I'm pretty sure of that because the good news about Bitcoin keeps coming up.

I really do think a correction is in place, as do so many others. But the more market cap goes up the more btc goes up too. It will definitely get over 40-50k, maybe even 100. Long-term btc will have most value. I just wonder if it would ever be stable enough.

I dont want to give exact range or prices to reach but I would say that Bitcoin will be as good as this year. The demand of Bitcoin really grew up and so it's value. But if you think of it, a lot of peopl are still in the verge of deciding whether to buy or not. And a lot more are still do not have any idea about Bitcoi.

So I think there is still a big market for market that will be tap on 2018 and therefore continue Bitcoin's demand and price.

We can not predict what will happen in a few months. We are able to estimate the nearest month thanks to the analysis of the market, which I heartily recommend to learn. I think that this year BTC will pour prices 15000 $, and what will be next year will show time.

Well, yes, bitcoin is almost $ 17,000 and I think that he will add a few thousand more for this last month of the year. We are happy to freebies, friends ;) ::)

It's true that bitcoin reaches 40k, but I think that before the end of this year the price of bitcoin does not exceed 40k because the day is too short to reach 40k. But in the end this year we reach 20k USD so our Christmas will be happy.

It may depend on the result of bitcoin futures or any factors that affect the bitcoin. If they are all positive, the price will rise to another level. Some large correction or price crash will prevent the bitcoin from hitting higher prices like $30k or $40k. And the demand for 2018 should exceed the demand this year to be able to rise more.

Prediction says it will cross $100k but I think it will cross $50000 because price increasing that not means always be increased but also can dumped.

i agree more people will interest and care about bitcoin now because its price and movement can make you rich. every one will try to learn this bitcoin. but im not agree the price its only 15k. more than it price will be in the end of this year or even in the future.

It took eight years to reach the 2000$ price but in just six months, the price multiplied many times; this is not only affected by the large adoption of cryptocurrencies but also by big market players that put so much FIAT money in investing. This does not only affects prices and market but also to reveiw concepts like "dump" and "dump" as we have no reference point to compare with. Hopefully it will happen because people are favoring bitcoin and is allowing it to grow. Its demand is increasing in the market and so is its worth increasing. People are getting into bitcoin happily because high output is an attraction for investors. It has bring the world on a single platform and we can communicate and invest with people miles far away from us.

My prediction about bitcoin on 2018  ,it will reach up to 100k$ before 2018 will end.As we can see now bitcoin is very fast increasing its value because theres a lot of investors coming and bulk buying and that way bitcoin will very in demand and thats a big impact for the price.More investors will engage the big possible for the value will soar high .

30-40k is possible in 2018 if bitcoin value will continue to climb. But on this weekend bitcoin alaways fluctuated which is when it goes 16k it fall back to 15k and cllimb again to 16 and it didn't exceed perhaps it will not go higher until year end.  Or maybe in 2018 it will collapse.  I hope not. 

Yeah,  I totally agree with you. With the current rate at which bitcoin is going up,  I can say that by the end of 2018, the price of bitcoin will be around $100k. Bitcoin will definitely reach that price by 2018 as there will be more people in the bitcoin world leading to more transactions.

I'll wait for the beginning of the year and look at what this will result in and what kind of forecasts you will speak then. While the premise that for a very long time this can not continue. then we are waiting for the collapse.

it difficult to say, but i think it will reach 38000 USD in 2018. i dont know but some month will touch that price, maybe at first year, or middle, or the end of year of 2018. now, bitcoin price more than 14000 USD in my country. and its more expensive than other exchanger. and too fast to reach that price

If the price trend on 2018 will be similar to what has happened to bitcoin's price this last quarter of 2017 bitcoin can easily reach $50,000 or even more. But if we're gonna consider the dumps and the dips that could happen this 2018 I think it will be safe to say that bitcoin's price will be around $25,000 - $35,000.

If you think $40k is the right value, maybe you're wrong. Be realistic, $20k is enough for the closing price this year.

In my opinion, the price of bitcoin can reach up to 50,000 USD in the future because bitcoin is a very solid cryptocurrency and i think that in the future, more people will get into bitcoin and that will become the reason for bitcoin's price to just spike up high and higher in the next year which makes me feel excited for that to happen.

There are chances that $40,000 per coin can be achieved this month itself, since CBOE and CME are about to start the Bitcoin futures trading. In 2018, NASDAQ is also planning to list Bitcoin futures. By the end of 2018 , I think bitcoin will be priced at more than 20000 USD if the increase on its value will continue for next year and if there'll be nothing to hapoen that won't be in favor with Bitcoin. It is really hard to say that Bitcoin will be priced at 50000 USD as some people are saying because we all know that Bitcoin is vokatile so backdrops are always exoected to happen making it a bit hard for its orice to increase that much.

I can not speculate about bitcoin prices for 2018, but I have confidence and believe that bitcoin in 2018 will reach over $ 35000. and that's an easy thing for bitcoin.

There are so many speculations 2018, especially when it comes to Bitcoins price and value. In my side, i think it will reached to $20k in early 2018, continues its increasing trend and might goes down but not that too low, but still it will recover again.

In my opinion there is no need to try to guess the level of the next year. It makes sense to just invest for a long time and then pleasantly to wonder at the new achievements of bitcoin)

Basing on the currently flow of Bitcoin's price today, I should say Bitcoin will touch $40k - $50k during the last quarter of 2018. With these rapid increase of price it would be possible for Bitcoin to hit my speculated mark, although there will be a corrections next year but I think it doesnt stop Bitcoin to continue its growth. Bitcoin is gaining more and more popularity its being widely recognized globally. There will be a huge demand in the market for the upcoming years and it will not stop increasing its value until the very last piece of Bitcoin is mined.

I agree with you, I also think 4k is achievable for 2018 and there is definitely some corrections coming. Most of the recent growth was spurred by the forks and Futures. There is one major concern though, BTC is losing its original purpose as a currency. It is being treated as a commodity now, mainly for the purpose of buying and selling for profit and as a way to trade alts. Steam have dumped BTC as a currency because of its recent instability, with it being so volatile it is very difficult for it to be used as a currency of the future. Also, the barrier for entry is too high and it is complicated for many.

I see BTC as an essential tool for trading in Crypto but I believe there is room for a new currency to crack the mass market and become a better option for use as an actual currency, for buying stuff. Time will tell though.

A lot of things and changes happens to bitcoin within this year including the rapid price growth rate, it could be possible that will happen again by the comin year. I believe that it wont be totally the same but, it gonna be more and expect for a lot of surprises coming. The popularity and its usefulness, will serves this a powerful tool to face challenges that may encountered as the years goes by.

Speculation price will far exceed 15K from current price, in new year there is possibility move or add 3K that is at position 18K. This applause which I want start from result exceeding previous month and this also bring bitcoin become more explosive its a popularity.

Also i think Bitcoin will become acceptable in some country or it will become legalized by government. Many people will also willing to invest on it and try to use it in some transaction. This is a very nice news if bitcoins will not be accused for criminals currency because it means that more and more investors will come to invest on bitcoins and obviously the value of btc will keep on increasing because the demand is high.

I feel that the price of $15,000 is not enough during this year. There could be an opportunity to get up to $20,000 per Bitcoin.

I think bitcoin will continue to expand in 2018. We will also see that its price will increase more. I wish by next year that bitcoin will be acknowledge by more countries. I wish next year, people will stop telling exaggerating stories and destructive criticisms about cryptocurrencies.

I wouldn't go beyond $25,000 for that year even though there are speculations that are coming that says it will go at $40,000 - $100,000 by that year. I want to become more realistic and will don't put my standards and expectation too high. That will be the best speculation for my price and will just forget those high speculations but if these people who are giving high value for their speculations were right, there's no regret for expecting a very low amount.

I think it will still rise within 2018,as of the present year bitcoins value is 16k and still not christmas,although it reaches 17k but suddenly down to 15k and its current price now.Bitcoin is getting more popular to people so by the year 2018 it will reach to 20k to 40k per 1Bitcoin.

Your assumption is exactly right because I am also expecting that much rise in next year but bitcoin is basically unpredictable and nobody knows what will happen next so only we can wish to see high prices maybe it will go far than 50k or maybe it ends with some value near to the 50k every value is depending on the investor interest and If more no of people will come then maybe it will go above the price you estimated,

We have seen very good price of bitcoins in this year and we are hoping for the same in next year too and if everything goes fine then we will be seeing the price of $50k by the end of next year and for the same reason I am holding my coins to sell it when it reaches to that price.

I don't think bitcoin will be $40000/bitcoin more than it, in my speculation bitcoin will be hit around $50000/bitcoin because right now many users of bitcoin, they are starting to addoption bitcoin as digital asset or digital comodity and one year is enough time for bitcoin to be $50000 and in 2018 where is bitcoin will be having block, the number of bitcoin be mined will reduced it will makes supply of bitcoin be more little and the price of the bitcoin will increase.

I think all of us have different perspective and prediction through up coming 2018 , for all of us maybe we predict that it will increase more , and some are decrease , there are pros and cons. But for me is yes positive that the bitcoin value will become vast , increasing more and more , but we can't assure though , still it depends on the demand of the marketplace because of the volatility of it. But as for now the bitcoin value is still increasing , it's unstoppable though.

Bitcoin prices is increas in 2018. Most of the people wait for invest the bitcoin. Bitcoin is good opportunity for the future investment. You will learn the more information from bitcoin. It will give information hlep for plan to work and invest. Bitcoin is future currecny. So people will be hold and wait for prices high. If most of the people releas the bitcoin prices will be down. So it not easy to gess it.

I also do think bitcoin's value wll grow higher next year because it had a great days this year because it was known eveeywhere and more people became interested in using it. It has a quick increase these past few weeks so i am expecting that it will surely have a good increase next year. I think more people will start using ans investing in it.

I think I would side with this speculation better than any value in reply. Between 25k to 40k would be the better and more attainable value for next year. My own analysis, by 2018 on the first quarter it will go up, and drop down on 2nd quarter but will rocover and go up again by 3rd quarter and fly to the moon on the 4rth quarter of the year till year end, hopefully i will hit it😃

Some people said it will increase 20k, Some said 50k and someone just cross the limit by saying i will reach 1 million per bitcoins. Reaching 100k is very impossible we cannot predict bitcoin price in the market because until now bitcoin price continue it's fluctuation,we dont know all what happen with bitcoin price nextyear but all of us expecting bitcoins huge increase,it is depends on the demand and good development in the market if many investor are adopting bitcoin and many people investing on it bitcoin price will continue it's high increase.

It's a fact that when there is a big movement from the past bitcoin can't move quickly too further. It has to drop so it went through and we did saw it dropping for a while and it was a real quick drop. And at the very end of 2017, there was some sort of quick pump that was nearly reached to $14,000 and that made again some investors to come but later on it dropped again at $13,200.

I'd like to agree that it's much more to ask for but looking back, probably only a few people believed that btc would go from 1k to 20k in 2017. And the big pump from less than 10k happened in just around two months. So i can't really say its impossible even though the probability is low
