Hello there,

I wondered what you guys are doing with your litecoins? Are you holding them, gambling or trading? recently bought myself some ltc and wondered if you guys know about investing possibilities sin micro till small area.
Please share your Expieriences if you do so.

To be honest I buy litecoins for future investments, I just hold, if litecoin dump I will buy them again, I am sure next year litecoin will be very valuable.

I traded my Litecoin for other altcoins a while back. I think there are way too many cryptocoins focusing on being a currency only, so Litecoin has a lot of competitors on the market.. And i'm not sure all of them will survive.

Just to name a few off the top of my head, there's Monero, Vertcoin, Groestlcoin, Dash, Zcash, PIVX... So many options right now.

I have also some altcoin but I trade it to get more profit, and also buy again more this altcoin when the price down because I know the price will rise again later. Litecoin has big future because this altcoin has strong team developer and all cryptocurrency community know this coin and in top ten ranking coinmarketcap that has big volume and marketcap . This coin also mineable and no premined just the same thing like Bitcoin so everyone can to participated to mine it.

I am holding them for now. Charlie Lee is impressive - I think it's pretty cool how far the currency has come with very little marketing on his part...they are concentrating on the tech which is more than can be said for many of the others.

Currently, i am not holding any litecoins but maybe soon, i am Still observing its trend. But if ever i do have, i might hold on to it for a few months or more depending on the trend since lotecoin is pretty volatile. But maybe i will also try trading it if i see some coins with potential or better gain.

i buy LTC for short term trade,, with all my techincal analys because LTC have a good volume and marketcap too,
or you can hold it for long term, because people said bitcoin is gold then Litecoin is silver

I am holding my litecoins and I dont think to sell them for 2 years. I bought when it was 61 dollars and when litecoin will break 1000 dollars maybe I can sell them.

Anything but gambling. THat is the worst thing you can do to yourself, and your coins.

Personally i've sold most of my litecoin stash when the price was still above 0.01 BTC which turned out to be a heck of a deal. I think that now the price is well below 0.01 BTC, we're entering a buy zone again and i'll potentially consider to stash up some LTC.

Though problem is we don't know how low it's going to go, so i would recommend buying a little at a time.

Actually I do not have a litecoin yet because i was observing what i was going to be. Right now I'm trying to get into trading and to have a great profit.

I haven't bought LTC yet, I knew it was a good coin but it was always sidelined by BTC but now it seems like it is finally showing some potential. I am looking to buy some and hold for a while.

The same thing I'm doing with other crypto, speculate.

I have an amount of litecoin which I'm using as a backup for my crypto portfolio. Litecoin is one of the most stable in form of price (as well as rise). It could be considered an alternative bitcoin.

Wouldn't it be better to wait for an upward going trend before buying again?

No it ain't better. It is best if one will buy now that the litecoin market price is losing value because when the time comes when it has gone up for an upward trend, one will surely profit by that time and it will also be easier to secure profits that way. It also won't be profitable if one were to buy during an upward trend because no one can now how much will the all time high for that rally will be and might result into losses if one bought at the all time high of the bullrun.

The fact is that you have to take an example from other users who either buy or sell. Vito and it turns out that because of the panicky mood, because of the price fluctuation, you get the minimum income from trading your coins. Perhaps this is not my choice.

Just hold my litecoin and i was try to make them all worth a lot in the future. The long term hold is very suitable method to use the litecoin because there is no actual use rather than become the alternative way of bitcoin. the litecoin needs cheap fees compared with the bitcoin. Or another good way to do a trade with it.

I invested in bitcoin so I have two savings for my future and I am sure will benefit from it later

I have some litecoin in my wallet, and for so far i still hold it, I have not dared to sell it still waiting for the next few years, I sure in the coming year litecoins price will be high, if it reaches the price of $3000 i will sell it.

Sold them all. LTC is not BTC's baby brother. It has faster blocks and lightening but there are other coins with even faster blocks and cheaper fees.

Just keep it, wait until this bitcoin bull. People in coinbase will realize they can make more btc with ltc. Bitcoin silver ftw.

I have some litecoin on exchange and I hold until now. I haven't the right time to sell it, I will sell although it only makes a little profit. I don't have much knowledge about litecoin btw

I am keeping my litecoin in my coinbase account.

Bought them between 20- 40 and now just letting them cook longer in the Coinbase oven until I see 400:P

LTC is a good coin for storage. After several years, the price may increase a lot (up to x30 I guess). And it is  and pretty fast and convenient to make payments with this coin. It's fast and cheap for now.

Well that was the worst move ever. Sold exactly 24 hrs before the pump. Still not a fan of litecoin because there are other better coins

I think lite coins are good investment and a hedge against bitcoin volatility, I’m not holding a lot but I do hold some for long term. I think they will double in price soon.

Jeah sure but your tactic includes trust in ltc? why should I buy if they loose value, ergo I should wait for new uptrent I thought and read many times??

Litecoin is valuable already, but I believe it can grow more with time, so I hold as well. I don't think ltc really has some amazing ideas behind it but the fact that it stuck so much to bitcoin makes it popular as well and, as bitcoin is growing, litecoin is not left behind, especially because the transactions proceed faster and cheaper with it. I didn't expect ltc to grow so fast, but now it feels like $150 is not much of a price in general.

I will keep my coins. Charlie is very good, I think after the huge growth of bitcoin, now came the turn of litecoin. I think that we will see the price of 250-300 in 2018.

I am dumping all my litecoins it is just cheap copy of bitcoin and it will be dumped very hard once the lightening network is going to be introduced to the bitcoin network

I'm just holding them in my exchange wallet to trade it against bitcoin when the time comes up. I want to sell them with a proper rate, but it's too early at the moment for litecoin.

I'm holding on it coz I know that this technology has a good impact in the blockchain network which is the main competitor of bitcoin. I know that litecoin is much faster than bitcoin when it's comes to transaction per second. That's why it called lightning network.

buying and holding 100%. I think there is a big chance of litecoin reaching 200 dollar before 2018, and going in the hunderds in 2018, maybe even reaching 1k by end of 2018. Nowadays holding is a better choice as no one know that what will happen but if we look at the ethereum trend then we believe that it is possible that a day will come when the price of litecoin will also increase like it and it will make us wealthy.

Litecoin is one of these rare cryptocurrencies I believe into. It has the great future, and therefore I hold these alts in my wallet. However, I trade with 30% of my LTC — it gives profit.

I am just holding my Litecoins because i believed it will have a lot of value in the future,while the BTC and Ethereum's network are being slowed the LTC will dominate.

HODL and promote to other people.

I have around 3% from my deposit in LTC and I don't want to dump it even now. I believe it's still very undervalued and could be pumped much more for sure. So just HODL!

Till now I was using Litcoin to trade for other Altcoins. I'm done with buying other altcoins now. My investments now will be in BTC, LTC and ETH in that order. Slowly but surely.
Hope it pays off.

I've been tempted to sell a few times but I didn't. I still see it as a HOLD investment. Although it's a bit of a "mystery" coin for me. I don't know what to expect from it. With bitcoin, ethereum and some others, things look more clear.

Yes it would yield more profit if we hold Litecoin for longer period of time and i have earned 100% profit in just 22 days with litecoin but at the same time we can understand there might be pump and dump every now and then but the result is always profitable just like bitcoin whenever there is a price dump we experience a price pump in following months which increases the value of the coin more than what it used to be before the price dump so let's just hold on to the litecoin and be a future richie.

I can keep my Litecoin for 1 year. Because the use of Litecoin is growing every day and investor is already growing and this cash is predicted to etheruem within the future.

 From my cryptocurrency knowledge told me, If I hold my a few ltc for 2018, I will gain profit in the future.
as per as I can see that next year Litecoin will be going through 700$ USD.

Yes i feel the same and there is something unique about litecoin and the best part is the price as it might be the next big thing and the value has just started to increase with leap and this would be the best time to invest into litecoin and hold on to it for a longer run and if all the predictions come true then litecoin will value the same as Ethreum by the end of next year i mean by the end of 2018 or by the financial year starting of March 2019.

I am holding them for next few years i think that they will increase next year.I see litecoin as an long term investment, it has been stable for long time and is increasing very slowing and maybe litecoin will rise like anything to $500 or $1k therefore i am holding them and waiting for them to rise.I believe in litecoin and in 2018 it would definitely show us promising rise.

I think litecoin is one of the most stable coins and that's why also good for long-term investment. I trade it from time to time, but still, have my coins which I bought for $15 ;)

This is exactly the decision you made. Because everyone can see how much the price of litecoins has increased. That's really out of the thought.

I am only holding my litecoins and they are serving as a back up for me to do transaction because the transaction in litecoin is fast also and the fee is lower than bitcoin which is a great thing for me to take advantage of because i don't like paying expensive fees like in bitcoin just for an average transaction.

Litecoin like some others BTC forks shows good growing tendency. If you believe in Bitcoin then stay with Litecoins. It's good choice now. I think you earn some money with LTC and will do even more.

yes, litecoin has an increase on $, this is very good, follow the price of btc. 1 year ago, there was someone who sold house to buy LTC, and now he is a rich man with litecoin. For now, litecoin has a flat price.

I have a very few LTC since the summer. It's kinda long term investment so I can't do anything with it according to my beliefs of the long holding.

Various speculators says that LTC is going to be future ETH in terms of its value and stability. So it is better that we hold the LTC today and try to gamble or invest or sell it in the future when it is going to be 1K or more than that. Thats the perfect deal for the LTC and I'm sure about that because the LTC is going ATH very fast these days.

All I have is little concern about the LTC though. Its sudden increase in the rates must not set up reaction of the old investor who might just start selling it right away to grab those huge profits that they might have gotten. Im sure that it into being sold at this movement because it could have set its downward movement very quickly. Rather people are taking good interest in it and trying to buy more. So its better we should start thinking positive about it and invest today.

I do trade my litecoins but recently its price exchange went down and now kicking back. I would still contonue trading it until i can reach my goal amount of exchanging it in 1 bitcoin and i might just start helping others on how to do those. Yet i still hold some for unexpected decreases or increases again.

The patient holders of litecoin must be very happy now because the price is way very high now. When I came into the crypto world the price was around $32 and now it $200. Goodluck to the patient holders.

This question hurts me a lot because I already sold my LTC one and half month ago. Lolz. No thats seriously hurting statement and I can’t buy anymore because I  think it has reached very high now and there is no point for me to buy it at this point. I was very happy in the previous months when the LTC risen to 80-90 USD because that was still profitable for me to hold at that high. When I saw the bitcoin moving very fast towards the rates of 8-9K then I started feeling to buy the bitcoin and which I did in the first by selling my LTC for it.

Anyway I’m still in profit with the BTC but I could have made even more profits from the LTC as I had invested in it when LTC was literally 20-25 USD back then. So considering that entry point into LTC and looking at the current rate of it I could have been Richie rich. Lolz. No worries I understand that crypto currencies are really uncertain and we just can’t loose the hopes very easily. Must see up the pace of investment in rightful manner.
