Title: Anyone here trade using Ethereum?
Post by: Canon9 on December 06, 2017, 09:33:42 AM
Hi All,

Anyone in here starting to use Ethereum to trade Altcoins? I know theirs not as many Altcoins in the Ethereum market compared to Bitcoin market but with BTC over $11k makes it tough to buy it especially with the volatility and uncertainty with the ATH.

Is trading using Ethereum the same thing I understand the arbitrage will some what be near the price of the coin between BTC & ETC, will it matter if the volume of the altcoin is 11mill in BTC and in Eth it is only 800,000. Are my trading strategies and profit limited in anyway from using Ethereum instead of BTC ?

Thanks :D

There are so many people that trading ethereum because ethereum is one of the best coins, has it's own markets and top 2 in coinmarketcap.

I joined trading Cryptocurrency last 2 months, and I use Ethereum to trade Altcoins instead of using Bitcoin. Transactions fee to transfer or buy for Bitcoin is higher than Ethereum, and ETH price is more stable than BTC

Ethereum is traded to all ERC 20 tokens, whicha re the most popular ones. There also pairs with the most popular altcoins to ETH so it is almost as liquid as bitcoin. 800 000k volume is still a good volume for the altcoin but I bet that thedifference in USD between BTC and ETH prices of the altcoin will be small so it makes the arbitrage risky. The price may change while you are transfering your funds and then you will have big loses.

Trading ethereum is also one of  the profitable earning methods in cryptocurrency market, ethereum is assumed among top most tradeable coins after bitcoin.
Keeping your investment in ethereum for long term will obviusly give you 2x profits  if the market goes up as expected by traders, however keeping whole capital in one coin is not recommended, more better to split half of your amount in bitcoin

Ethereum the outlook is very promising, as evidenced by the many ICO projects that almost entirely adopt ethereum to be their tokens including  MOONLITE PROJECT.
About THE MOONLITE PROJECT just click the following link https://www.moonlite.io/

I think what makes ethereum more widely adopted and liked by fans is probably because of the low fee of transactions, while bitcoin offers very high transaction fees, this is clearly opposite to ethereum, so it's only natural that bitcoin is abandoned by some fans.

Hi, Lunir project is similarly they support ethereum and use ethereum for their tokens, this is a proof that ethereum is the best of altcoin other, the popularity of ethereum is clearly very reliable. In addition to low transaction fees, ethereum has other excellent features such as (blockchain bitcoin and Smart-Contract). By collaborating the two, making Ethereum increasingly in demand by small and large investors, even ethereum is also in demand by some groups other than crypto fans.

I use Ethereum for trading as it got less price fluctuation as compare to Bitcoin. Etherdelta is one of best exchanges for trading in Ethereum as most of the ERC20 tokens has been registered over there. Moreover Ethereum transaction from one exchange to another saves a lot of transaction fees with fast confirmation hour.

I strongly agree if you say it is more convenient to use eth, but why would you prefer to trade in etherdelta? I think etherdelta has a bad network and a big fee.

I think more and more people are using etherum for trading. There are many advantages. There are no high price fluctuations, and it is trustworthy. If we look at the coinmarket head, etherum is ranked second, after the bitcoin. So you can use etherum to trade altcoins with confidence. And I use it. It is a profitable way and you must not miss your chance.
