Bitcoin has just reached the $13k mark.  What do you think will be the price of Bitcoin end of this month?

What's next is that it'll go higher. I just checked to crosscheck your figure and it's $12701, so we are $299 short of the $13000 mark. Will it get there? The answer is surely. In fact, I am expecting figures of up to $18000 for a Bitcoin before the end of the year.

The indicators favour an upward trend for some time. I do not see any significant drop in prices below $18000 looking forward into the first quarter of 2018. The year itself is going to be a year of massive adoption but what Bitcoin is going to need is higher utility as a means of exchange not just an asset. That is what is going to strengthen it for a long haul through 2018.

Some point soonish it will correct a bit, but it's bullish right now...don't forget hat it fell to nearly 8k the other day...it's unchartered territory and there may be some resistance ahead. Long term, it'll hit 20, 30, 40 and so on...their are short minor setbacks, but nothing is stopping bitcoin in the near future...it's the mother of all bulls.

I think that it will not go beyond 15.000 by the end of the year. There must be some room for price correction and there are only 3 weeks left in Dec. Having said that, the long time goal is to reach 100k or even 1mln in a long run. I think the former is doable on 3 years, and the latter in 5 years from now.

I won't be suprised if the price drops though, cos it rose too fast and once it drops it would be able to gain balance around that range

I am hoping that it will reached as high as $15k before this year ends.  Pretty sure that it will increase considering that many people during this month have many money.  They have many bonus and as a result they would like to invest their money into different investments.  We knew bitcoin and it is making the name.  Therefore many for sure will buy bitcoin and its price will increase.

wow ! it is great that the price of bitcoin now is in the ranging of the 13000$ its very expensive if you convert it to my money country well because its a ber month and we know that the ber months is very special so i think the price of its will become rising up again next week and i think that the price before this year ends is at the ranging price of 15000$-20000$ it is not impossible because the rising up of the bitcoin is really rapid and fast. i hope that my prediction price will be come true

The price is on speed and I don't think that many people expected to see that price by the end of this year. Although is possible that it will go up even more don't forget that corrections are also possible and with such high price this might be couple of thousands of dollars. Still that will not change the fact that this is the best period for Bitcoin price ever and great opportunity to make fantastic profit. To see 15000$ by the end of this month wouldn't surprise me either.

I wanted to transfer 50% to altcoins and now I do not know what to do.  ???

Maybe bitcoin will reach upto $15K by end of this year but there is a hard fork coming but I am not sure it is true,if it comes then there maybe a price drop will occur but it will be just little drop then bitcoin will regain its potential soon as always.
But it looks like just the start of bitcoin era maybe in the year 2018 the bitcoin price may increase hugely and bitcoin is spreading all over the world due to its rapid price increase so it may replace fiat soon in some years.

Probably still the best choice is to leave bitcoin at home and receive free coins from forks. Only in December there will be about 4.

Why do you even ask in here, BTCtalk clearly states there will barely be any correction ever and all ATHs are an as great opportunity to buy as a dip

The hard fork coming this December is only unofficial its depend the situation if this event will be run or maybe not. This pump up happen to bitcoin have a big effect to most altcoin the price of altcoin decrease again I believe there will be another dump happen to bitcoin so i will wait for that time now the price was almost 13k$ and its so awesome to see it.

From the begining bitcoin is predicted to grow higher but not in a rate like today. So it is safe to say that bitcoin will reach $15k in the start of 2018. So many prediction yet so many errors and that where confusion start. Whether we still invest in bitcoin or start trading it. $13k mark so far is so good for us investors yet knowing it will still rise next year is very pleasing to hear and we'll make the most out of it.

A correction to $10-11k, then increase to $15k. Of course, it's just a guess, exact predictions are impossible.

Hope that bitcoin will hit the 20k marks by the end of December that was the mark that i am waiting to sell half of my bitcoin and invest to real business that can manage by my family because they do not know how bitcoin works.

In my opinion we can see a Correction anytime soon because a pump must have a correction over the dollar currency but we can never tell when it will be and right now we are seeing a nonstop pumps and heading to $13,000 value, And right now we are in the $12,860.01 per bitcoin this is another break through for us.

$15,000 for sure before end of this month bitcoin keeps increasing and amazingly $1,000 increase in one day and there are 25 days left before end of this month possible to reach $15,000.

What? are you serious?. More like the price will rise to 15k before the end of THIS year. By the end of 2018 the price would probably be between 30k and 50k.

That was amazed by getting that price with bitcoin. What will be the next? Maybe that was have more to increase and get on high from $13k to 1$18k before the year ends.

In my prediction, as i've seen today, Bitcoin will increase and increasing. I always impressed for the performance of Bitcoin today, compare to the past few years. And I'm hoping that before this year ends, Bitcoin will reached $15K. And Next year, Bitcoin will double the value of today's value. But, its just a prediction, No one knows what will happen on its price.

I think it goes higher to $20K by the end of this year.As you can see the increase of Bitcoin now is rapidly.Very fast.I won't be surprise anymore if it goes to 1m,probably,definitely it will.

Obviously the next logical target it $15,000 at the end of the month. It's doable in my opinion. This bitcoin futures contracts what drives all investors into frenzied or chaotic behavior we have never seen before. CBOE beats rival CME by offering it on 10 December. So I'm expecting that this bullish trend will continue up to mid December when CME turns to offer this services to its  clients as well. And then we will see where will it go. But I'd say with all the bullish attitude, I wouldn't be surprise it $15,000 is touch.


It could very well be the case if people who are into bitcoin will allot a portion of their bonuses to invest in bitcoin. Specially in third world countries. What making a name? Bitcoin is already a brand name this year. Thanks to the social media and even TV financial analyst are also promoting bitcoin as well.

It seems to me that by the end of the year he will remain at this level, or will fall a little. I believe that people start selling them before the new year to buy gifts and so the rate may not be stable. But until the middle of the month, it will continue to grow.

I was not even expecting the level of $6K to $7K but since institutional investors started playing this game and entered in the market and constantly pouring their capital, the price is rising day by day. However, I am expecting a correction soon but it might hit $15K level before a correction and then the price will fall by 20% to 30%. Every time bitcoin reaches a new milestone someone asks "what's next?" at 10k, 11k, 12k...
Well.. let me tell you, it's always the same answer! Bitcoin will keep acting as it used to, ups and downs, rising on the long term, bla bla bla...  and most importantly no one can predict its price!

My guess would be around $15k - $18k by end of this month. Not too sure about it yet but it could be more than that as some of my friends say there are at least 3 forks still coming this month. I'm not sure where she got that information from but if ever I have the details I'll post it here.

Next stop is $15000 then go to 20000 so fast as possible and futures contracts will help. But Mr.Dump is waiting for easy money  ::)

About 25 days of festive season, it could go beyond 15K by the end of this year.
There may be a correction, but as its happening in the past couple of months, whenever there has been a slight correction, bitcoin has bounced back up to break records.
So I don't think that this Tsunami is gonna settle any time soon.

What's next? The forks from bitcoin that is. There are a couple of them too this month. But no matter what, I highly doubt that these forks could have big of an impact on the price of bitcoin right now. A little dip maybe, but not really a major one.

Why do people keep on asking "what's next" whenever bitcoin hit a certain amount? You must know the answer price will continually grow because of the latest development on bitcoin's market. Just keep on hodling your coin and you will be rewarded in the long run.

In my opinion i think the hype of this upcoming holidays make the Bitcoin price go crazy. I'm suspecting a even more increase until around 15-16k dollar. We might see a big dip after holidays ended when everything comeback to normal. Bitcoin need to have a correction before it can reach a new all time soon.

In what exchange do you see it's 13k? Cause GDAX, Coindesk etc.. still reporting it's around 12.8k , but if it's 13k then great , I guess what's next is 14k haha.

My local exchanger able to show more expensive value compare global because they have have faith that bitcoin is on uptrend at the moment.

This halving is ending by 2020. SO till 2020 block rewards will be 12.BTC for each block. After 2020 it will decrease by 50% and will be set at 6.25 BTC for each block. Its clearly addressing that generation of Bitcoins will be going to reduce. So if consider formula of demand supply for Bitcoin's distribution then price of Bitcoin will definitely reach to $100K+.

I think that bitcoin will add several thousand dollars in price, and after the New Year holidays it will go to correction. But this is not accurate and this is just my opinion.

As all of our bitcoin forum members discuss and expect most of the time about the milestone of 10k mark and we expect that bitcoin will achieve the task of 15k already it is achieved 13k. We can expect the 15k end of this month itself. Also we should be ready to accept the correction mode also.

I think much higher now cause its peak season now. More people now interested to buy bitcoin and make them investment no matter what the is.

You just never know with BTC, people keep speculating like its a regular stock and any spike = imminent correction but it just continues to defy all expectations and surge!

As predicted, by the end of this year, the BTC will reach the $ 20000 exchange rate, creating a new record for cryptocurrency. The price of bitcoin is raising in very high manner.Now the price of bitcoin is more than 12,000$ and now 12400$,I hope the price of bitcoin will moves to 18-20k$ at the end of this year.Even more than that,because many are move to inverse in bitcoin from altcoin investment by seeing the price.

I wasn't able to see that 13K mark but currently, we're at $12,827 in coinmarketcap. I think this bubble have something to  do with the news of possible forks although we can't be really sure as those forks might not push through just like what happened with B2x. As for the price, I'll be bold by saying that I am expecting BTC to reach $20K by the end of this month if the trend continue rising at the current rate. Then probably experience some serious dip by the first month of 2018.

I think before Christmas will be a correction in prices. The price will fall by 30-40%. Weak hands will sell their BTC and then the price will increase again!

Indeed, bitcoin is on another level now the next target will be $15,000. And I think based on the current bitcoin growing trend the bitcoin price will end up around $20,000 by the end of the year.

$15,000 was always my estimate for the end of the year and it looks like we will get there if not  pass that completely and hit the $20,000.

Bitcoin have broken every prediction made about the price by the end of this year 2017, it is a surprise me and I guest it is a surprise to everyone that predicted the price when it was bellow $8,000 per bitcoin. Now I don't believe on predicting the price of bitcoin anymore because prediction about the price of bitcoin is not longer working. As the price keeps accelerating day by day is the to keep investing into bitcoin if you have the courage and the money to invest.

What do you mean about 'price correction'? Are you implying to the last issue about the Bitcoin's price? That when it reached the market price for about $10,000 it rolled back to like $8,000. Well that was just market correction and nothing serious really, an certainly that it will not happen again. I mean we are not using AI here, so human errors are still plausible.

Its a phenomenal growth. And now I regret selling off my coins at the $6500 mark. I think the price would still grow, but of course I'm FUDding.

The value of Bitcoin is increasing day by day due to number of people entering in this market.Rather than making a prediction of what bitcoin price would be in 2020, I can say with confidence that prospects of bitcoin growth are very high. I don’t know if Bitcoin will reach 500k USD by 2020 but by 2030 it may not seem that impossible.

My reasons are two fold.
•The prospects of Bitcoin growth are very high.
•The value of USD will go down drastically in next 10 years or so. Both these things put together 1 BTC = 500k USD is pretty much possible in a decade.

In my thinking Iam hoping that we may see $15000 before the end of the year. Because of the wider acceptance of Bitcoin and pressure on demand definitely we may see a higher price than $13K before the end of the year.

Totally depends on what will Bitcoin Futures (https://coincodex.com/article/1104/cme-bitcoin-futures-contracts-set-to-launch-on-december-18/) bring on 10/18 December. It could go both ways.

I want to say there is not enough time to reach $15K within this year, but bitcoin loves to prove me wrong when I make such statements. I don't think we will see a lot of resistance at the $13K and $14K levels, but there will definitely be some towards $15K. I think that resistance will be broken with the help of the introduction of futures. Although I think the price will not be able to stay above $15K for long within this year, it is very likely that the price is reached at least once.

I was shocked when the price is increase today but I'm amazed because  the will continued to increase before the end of 2017 it is a big news to the bitcoin user but you will hodl or convert your bitcoin to today , but the will continued hit 15k before the year ends.

Bitcoin it's better to fix at the current level . Model abs according to Elliot, price drop to 11500-10000. Who wants to get 300$ can take the risk. I have recorded a profit.

This is incredible. 1 Month ago expecting bitcoin to hit 10K was just wishful thinking. Now some of us see it reach 15K at  the end of the year, so in just a few weeks. But although most people think bitcoin futures will push up the price even higher, a correction is more likely to happen. The price will drop to maybe 9 or even 8K. Then the price will go up to reach 15K next year March.

There seems to be no upper limit for Bitcoin, it keeps rising so quickly.
Not sure what the 18th is going to do to the price, might even rise to 15K or go down to 10K.

Bitcoin system is digital currency and it rate was increased day by day and rate of bitcoin are $12772 and near by $13k  so in future it Cross more more high and it definitely reach $15000 in this December end.

I think the bitcoin price at the end of this month is not so bounce. But slowly go up. I think it will only reach $ 14k. I do not know that, it's just my opinion and I hope it happens.

Bitcoin is impossible to predict at the moment almost any number you say it is not out of the realm of possibility, some people were predicting 15k at the end of the month but at the rate bitcoin is growing we could reach that price in a week or we may get a correction that dropped the price below 10k.

We will never know what will be the value of bitcoin by the end of the month specially with its current trend, though fluctuating but still rising more. But we just need to hope for the best out of bitcoin value for it will benefit us all.

Since bitcoin sets a new high at $15K+ and it happens too early, so i will extend my speculations again to $20K before this year ends. The only problem as bitcoin keeps on rising are the hodlers of alt coins whose market price plummets in effect to bitcoin's price hike.

Yeah I know what you mean, I predicted we will reach 10k before the end of the year and bitcoin reached that price a lot sooner and now it has done the same to you since it has surpassed 16k for each bitcoin in this day, people can throw crazy numbers and those number become a reality in a matter of days.

Nobody knows who is next we can only make assumption and mine one is 25 k because bitcoin has gone to 16k from 13k in only two days and this is the best sign of a good pump coming next that will take prices to the higher values and the investor community will be more happier than before in coming days and in my point the price at the end of December will be at 25k+ and that will be much more awesome ahead.

100k is a lot of money, I think that if things keep like this we could reach 30k or 40k at the end of the next year, but I will be fine if bitcoin reached that amount of money, it will be a lot sooner than I thought and I do not have that much bitcoin but at those prices my life will change significantly with my profits.

Pretty bold is to say 100k this year, some tread have less with 20 or 40k but to see bitcoin hit this is really big one. Yes it is not impossible that bitcoin will reach 15K USD because bitcoin already reached it. Last time I checked, bitcoin already hits 900,000 pesos or 18,000 USD by the 8PM in the forum time. But if I saw this post by the time that bitcoin price is below 10K USD, I may say that “Before this month end, it may reach 15K USD”. But I am wrong. I did not expect how fast pump is. That does not seem like it is going to happen, some people were saying we were going back to 5k after the price began to go down and we are still way above that, it seems this is real growth and not the result of a bubble so for all of those that did not bought at cheap prices, I'm sorry for them since now they will need to pay a fortune to get a bitcoin.

Absolutely it can't deny that a lot of people were looking for positive incoming, just because they are investing bitcoin and they are afraid if the price will drop down and loss their money. Practically speaking, they are wanted that they've got assurance of having profit from their money. Without knowing that, any drop down of price will happen anytime and I really don't think that they aware of this.

i think the coming year will be coming with the boom in the whole world of cryptocurrency and i think those who are not investing it will be regret there decision after that. Now that you have a gain, I would recommend to either hedge/diversify, or take out your initial investment and keep the profit as speculation.If you want to put in even more, do more due diligence.

And its back to $13K again after peaking at $18K. It's really crazy seeing the price moves so fast that at a blink of an eye, you either win or lost big. But we all know that's how bitcoin and crypto works. But if we are looking at end of year price, I'm still thinking that with the sudden correction, $15K-$16K would be a fairly conservative estimates. I'll say it go around as high let's say 15,000 to 18,000 US dollars in my own opinion. It could go around 20,000 USD but with the on-going drama, saga, or spectacale which is hindering the continous growth in terms of price increase of bitcoin. There are so many new projects wich are very good for bitcoin price,One of the good news are that  CME group(electronic trading system) has already added btc futures and I think, By this fact it will become more popular in this economical society and as i know,Also the largest options market in America,known as Chicago Board Options Exchange has already started Bitcoin options trading,wich logically will have influence on price,but this is not an axiom,thats my personal opinion and the price would be more than 18-19k $.So,I am not a great expert of futures and options and nothing is excluded,but logically it will happen.

Bitcoin's value is about or already heading past the $20000 mark. The few difference before attaining that position now is just a matter of hours and I am sure we are heading to the $21000 mark before we see any other correction if it will even happen that much. Yes you're right, bitcoin now is heading into the price of $21,000 but we are still in the middle of the month, so there's a tendency that it will be more rise their value before the end of this year 2017. I really impressed of bitcoin doing a tremendous thing in this last month of this year, based on my calculations it is rise about 15-20% a week and I think it will be worrh $24,000 before  we welcome the new year celebration.
