How do you see Bitcoin futures trading on the CBOE this Sunday affecting the price of Bitcoin moving forward?

Nobody can tell for certain, but I think it will have a positive effect. Established investors entering the bitcoin scene the currency will have more legitimacy, and also opens up bitcoin to investors who may not have had anything to do with bitcoin up until that point, means we will have more users in the blockchain, which is never a bad thing. All in all I think this will be good for bitcoin.

I too think it will have a positive effect on bitcoin. Despite the fact that they will be trading two different markets the futures will show the world how much big money wants to get into bitcoin and that will be an astronomical move I feel like. Not only will the CBOE hop on board but the CME is set to jump on board the week after and I think this will make bitcoin rise further than where we are now. The only worry of mine is that it cant continually keep going up day after day there must be a drawback only questions are when and how vicious of a pullback will we see?

For me, i think it will have any positive effect on bitcoin, because those people are trading in different market future will show they have a big money wants to get into bitcoin. And i think not only CBOE hop on board but CME is going to jump on board the week after. I think there are more investor who may not have had anything to do in bitcoin up until the point.

I still fear the possibility banks wants to use futures to short and discredit bitcoin. But it's just a bad feeling probably, I still cautious this days anyway.

We're predicting the same thing about CBOE involvement in bitcoin. So we do not have other comparison to correlate the same for the value increase. Also we cannot say its a damn sure reason for bitcoin value spike but we know it will usually increase the trend if we observe increased no of investors.
I believe it as a positive reason for spike as we see impact due to their involvement to the market.
Lets see how market reacts after few days. So far it looks positive

If you know the trading market, you know this is going to affect negatively the bitcoin ( sell the news) and potentially a very big dump when people see the impact of futures is not so huge

I am hopefully optimistic that with the introduction of T.D.Ameritrade on Monday Dec. 18, 2017 the the Futures Market will bring big pockets, therefore increase the market share. However if it does have and adverse effect, My thinking it would only pull back to the 15 - 16k range, and knowing my product I believe a recovery will happen soon after. I could be wrong, however we all know it has recovered before.

Why big dump? because the majority of company will be predicting about the future price of the bitcoin and i believe that will be even higher than the current rate of bitcoin itself. It just give a little impact to the bitcoin. The more volatility will be gaining the bitcoin soon.

I think it has lead to increase in bitcoin' price as well as it has avoided bitcoin price from falling i.e., no fluctuation. It has made bitcoin price to move steadily upward without any dip.Earlier CME announced that it would launch bitcoin futures and list it on 18th december while CBOE stole that golden opportunity by announcing that it would launch and list bitcoin futures on 10th december itself, almost one week before CME's listing.
