Title: Missing funds from my JAXX wallet
Post by: hnovodvo on December 07, 2017, 02:08:53 PM
Last monday 12/4 I used my JAXX wallet for receiving funds. After eight hours waiting I finally received the funds, however the following day I realized that those funds were not any more in my wallet.
What I found is that the pair public/private key used for such transaction was not anymore in my wallet!!. I dont have such pair backed up since I understood that only with the 12 words seed is enough to restore the wallet. I tried using the 12 words seed in a different wallet but the last transaction is not appearing. I tried also resetting cache and nothing. I saw in a different post that its a common problem and was solved by importing private keys in bitcoin.com. I really dont know how to do this, if someone could help me I will highly appreciate.
Thanks Hernan

Maybe theirs a problem in your connection if not just contact their support and tell them about the error that you encountered.
And also just move your topic in the right place in the Technical support section or in the Beginners and help section :D

This seems to be a fairly common problem with the Jaxx wallet... for whatever reason it sounds like their server keeps doing weird things and users have to "reset the Jaxx cache" all the time to see their transactions and coins :-\

Although, I'm wondering if this is a case of someone sent your coins, and the wallet was showing you the "unconfirmed" transaction... but then the transaction was either dropped or double spent and so Jaxx removed it from your wallet as it no longer existed.

Do you have any records of the transaction (like the transactionID) which you can lookup the transaction on a block explorer like blockchain.info etc? or the address that the coins were supposedly sent to?
