Title: Can you mine without much noise? Post by: Maltheser on December 07, 2017, 10:04:17 PM I've wanted to mine for a while now, I've never bought anything since I've heard it takes up space, generates alot of heat and noise! Is there any way to reduce noise/heat, and what miner would you recommend for me, I have 500$ :)

Here is a link to some soundproofing a forum member built for Asic miners. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2245487.0 It helps cut down on some noise. Other than that I heard the antminer R4 I believe was a quiet miner buit for home but for home miners, but it was plagued with problems and is no longer in production. You may find a used one. Also a 500$ budget wont get you far with hardware that will produce a profit; especially with the boom going on now. Try the marketplace or your local buy and sells. You can look into other mining options in the alt coin section, or look into buying and holding coins, with that kind of budget. You also might want to do a quick google search on nicehash, as they are going through some 62 million issues at the moment. Good luck, and explore the forum |
