Title: Investment size
Post by: Evanston45 on December 09, 2017, 04:41:18 AM
Since we don’t personally know each other here and therefore nothing to hide, I figured I’d ask the following...how much have you invested in crypto currencies? I’ll start...$5000 all within last month.

$30,000 but i have made a hell of a lot more than that back now and it's been one awesome ride too. Many lows and many highs, i probably will only trade around what i have now and not put anything further into crypto though because i have so many coins/tokens now it's hard to manage them all. My desktop is just crowded with different wallets i need to do a selloff sometime to be honest.

not much but I think it is enough for me to start ;D the amount is not the same and we should need to determine by ourselves. I think if we are investing, for example, $1000 then it is enough if we only make one time investment but we can withdraw over and over. I still trying with this and so far, I can make at least $100 every time I withdraw and that $1000 is the last time I invest my money.

Investment is no limit so for me the best size of investing is that you will base your savings and give atlist 80 percent so you have 20% balance incase of emergency you can have extra. And also if you invest in that size if your transaction will done smooth and good you can have a bigger money in return

Not going to disclose amount but I probably bit off more than I could chew initially. Granted things have went okay thus far, which is nice but doesn't mean I will be liquid any time soon which sucks.

I personally invested 500$ in Bitcoin and other altcoins but I still intend to invest more in altcoins like Ether, IOTA, Stellar and also I will invest some of my capital in Botcoin as you can see bitcoin making new highs everyday and going up and up , I feel bitcoin demand will increase more and more in coming days so bitcoin will hit 25000$ in coming days , so I, will invest 80% of my capital in Bitcoin and 20% in other altcoins.

Big investment is a relative statement just be sure what you are putting is what you can afford, not going beyond your means and expect decent returns on your investment rather than looking for $500 returns on investment of $50 within 3days. For me, I have made quite an investment which is within the range of $500 to $1000 and that is what is within my own ability to put at this time of the year.

if I about $ 1000 for last month, it is still very little because I invest free capital or wait from the bounty
so I do not need to spend money for the deposit or other capital, if I have the principle that as long as there are free ones why pay ;D ;D

I started my investing experience with $150 few years ago. It was a pretty hard but interesting way. But now my deposit in the crypto is more than twenty times more than it used to be.

A year back I had like 5 bitcoins but I was not patient enough and invested in shady projects and mining programs making me loose vast amount of my investment, if I would have just held those bitcoins I would have been in a very good position now.

I started with $400, now I have $1300, made approximately $150 with bounties, not too much I know but I am very new here. I don't expect too much gain, it is risky.

There is nothing wrong i believe for that amount the at least have a glance inside the cryptoworld, my friend does hundreds and he was so surprised to see its value go crazy volatile like never before. Depending on your investment strategy on how to distribute your $5000 in various project, one shot in some alts and get a 50% next day is sweet but same does drop. I personally invest $3000 earlier q1 and was able to retain x 2 x 4 profits of course over the growth of bitcoin towards fiat pairs. Maybe individuals should concern with the risks but looking at this crazy 450 b market cap millions are poured in cryptocurrencies, mostly made by big hedge funds.

Only invest how you afford to lose. A lot of awareness about that. the crypto based on the speculation by speculators, that means you won't need to invest a lot of money in there.
I've invested around 20k in this month in some cryptos.

I would like to respond to a post on this thread that one should invest all his/her money. I think it's not advisable to put all your money in an investment just because it promises to be highly profitable. The unexpected can happen at any time. Investment is about taking risk.

I started with 0.25 BTC in January 2017. Bitcoin price was $998. I paid $250 totally for my invest. (Now in USD i have 3800:) Later my brother and i invested 1 ETH on July 2017 and bought some alt coins too. I think you should at least invest couple of thousands dollars, like 3-4k todays. There are some promising altcoins, follow and invest them. I tell you my favorites.

EMC2 (Einsteinium)

MONA (MonaCoin)

ADA (Ada Coin)

XRP (Ripple)

Good luck to you..

This can be decided by you only. If you have $50,000 money, you can provide $5,000 for starting it. If you have $500,000 you can start with $50,000 in altcoins and bitcoins. Totally your decission.

I think the size of the investment should be in accordance with our financial ability, if it is considered very good coins and has a good potential would not hurt for large amounts of investment, but must see the details of the project to be invested.

You dont have to invest a fortune. If your 5000$ are money you don't need for paying bills, education, mortgage etc  do it now.
If you need them next week or at the end of the month, just make a 50$ investion.
We are all early adopters, Speaking for myselfe I invest 50$ a week no matter what the price of the coin is.

Currently I have invested much of my money in bitcoin only as the price of bitcoin is increasing much faster but along with that I also invest in ICO as with this investment the quantity of bitcoin increases as when we buy tokens of one bitcoin and after it hit the exchange then we can easily sell it for a higher price so we can double our money when we invest in the initial stage of any ICO. I often invest less than 10% in any ICO.

Well let's confess I started with very very low amount around 2015. It was something like $700? To bitcoin and waves. I guess around it. I made money but it could be so much greater, I didn't trust it so.

I've invested $5000 originally about 6 months ago, now I buy and sell for 10-20k a month in ICOs or undervalued coins.

The size of the capital is not important because not every one has the same size of the money.  The important thing is that whatever you have you should invest in the right coin. And that investment will give you the best returns you can expect compared to anywhere if invested in any other financial instruments. So keep saving and invest as per your affordability and hold it Bitcoin will give you the best returns in coming year as well.

Honestly I don't invest any money here aside from my time. Because I use all my profit here and will trade it later on if I hold enough now to earn good money. Lots of people here started with nothing and now they are now successful. You really Invest good money, and glad that you are in this kind of market you made the right decision.

As for me it is a very large investment, especially if you have just come into the world of crypto. I started with about 200 dollars. When I understood which of the alts have better future, I started investing more.
