With viabtc the trick is to try exactly when the counter resets every hour like 12:00, 13:00

The fee is low, and the others which payed a higher fee are having priority so your transaction place in the confirmation line is quite high.
But since tonight the number of tx waiting has dropped by 30k so you will get your spot.

What is wrong is this?
Block time 10 minute too long
or
no enough miner to confirm transaction?

It is utterly insane right now, my transaction of 0.2 bitcoin with decent fee of 0.002 has been stuck for 46 hours now.
At first Blockcypher classed it as Medium minor level interest, then the transaction disappeared off Blockcypher completely, now it reshows again but this time as low minor priority and transaction time of 9 hours, even though its been 46!

Things are seriously screwed right now with address to address transactions cause of the higher traffic levels, something really needs to be done about this ASAP. Yes I know they're working on it segwit lightning etc etc... but this is getting insane now.

Do what the guy I bolded says - that accelerator has worked for me many times also.
Your fee is like 1/5 of what it should be to get a quick confirmation these days buddy.

it looks like it happened maintance, and I think that's the effect of the higher bitcoin price, I have a feeling that with this bitcoin price will go up again. and reach $ 20,000 by the end of 2017.

Man there are +150000 uncorfimed transactions and fee that you've sent is low. Actually it is not low but you know nowadays...  One way is waiting.

He literally said he withdrew bitcoin from his exchange. The exchange is sending the transaction and paying the fee. Nothing to do with him.

There are miners to confirm your transaction, and the block time is not a 10-minute interval guarantee. Besides, you already have paid a small fee for the tx so the only choice you have now is to wait. Accelerators sometimes come with a small fee to push the tx, but there are free alternatives though you need to time them in order to get it free.


What are you talking about? The network doesn't go under maintenance lol

EDIT: It came from a German exchange I presume? Man that's some awful fees to pay, and really awful if they are still taking a cut from withdrawals.

Miner have choise to choose which transaction he want to confirm (using Accelerators "Accelerators sometimes come with a small fee to push the tx" )? or just to choose higher free by default?

oh i see. Are you sure you've sent your right adress? Did you do copy paste? Check your adress and reciever's adress

The exchange charged you 0.002 btc but they had only paid 0.000226 as a fee , that's why you are waiting a lot
it's the exchanger fault since they took from you 10 times more than what they actually paid

the network sucks these days and there are plenty of transactions , all you can do is to wait if you already tried ViaBTC accelerator
if not give it a shot , it may help you

Fees: 0.000226 BTC. Stupid exchanger I must say, taking profit from the miners fee that's supposed to be paid to speed up the transaction and resulting slow confirmation for their users.

Can you show your target adress? Which adress you try to send?

Oh yes i see that he spenf 0.1BTC For  0.08786064 + 0.01191336 + 0.000226(fee)
