Title: Electrum Wallet Update Post by: loreRex on December 11, 2017, 07:20:46 PM Im running Electrum (for BTC) 2.7.12, while on the website the 3.0.2 is available.
Should I update? I'm just concerned about security issues, Electrum already works super smoothly right now. Title: Re: Electrum Wallet Update Post by: withche.07 on December 11, 2017, 07:49:23 PM I still suggest you to update. I just updated, it works good. Visuals look bit bigger.
And its better to update everything in general, there might be bugs they fixed as 2 -> 3 must be big update. Title: Re: Electrum Wallet Update Post by: loreRex on December 11, 2017, 08:15:46 PM Thank you for the reply.
I'm a bit worried of bugs in the next version and risks due to installing malicious software. Now that BTC is worth so much we should be very careful. ;D Title: Re: Electrum Wallet Update Post by: btc_angela on December 12, 2017, 03:45:55 PM Im running Electrum (for BTC) 2.7.12, while on the website the 3.0.2 is available. The version that I'm using is super stable. And just like what they say, if ain't broke, don't fix it. So I will not update unless they are not going to support this kind of version or some kind of backward compatible in the future. Almost every day I hear about the penetration into the wallets :-( This is now really a problem ( I will be very grateful for the tips.

I personally used Electrum and GreenAddress though, lightweight and fast unlike Bitcoin Core which you need to download the full node. As for tokens. MEW, https://www.myetherwallet.com/ is the best wallet to hold multiple tokens and ETH. Exodus - for altcoins Of course, you have the responsibility to protect our wallet at any cost. Just search and go around the forum. I'm sure you will pick up a lot of tips. Title: Re: Electrum Wallet Update Post by: SandraStark on December 12, 2017, 06:19:07 PM Guys, hello!
