The BTC has increased from $ 10,000 to $ 17,000 in a week, and people say that the bubble is about to break, I thought too. And it went down $ 13000 in 2 days, and again $ 17500 in 20 hours. and now it's moving around around $ 16000. What are your predictions? Up or down. And give the reason for that prediction. Thank you.

There is one fact after all that happened. It caught a lot of attention right?
So what do you think will happen after that?
They might be thinking now if it can double its price again.
So there is larger possibility of demand rather than dump.
If it calms down to this price, that does mean we are seeing it levelled and holders are still holding.

Even if it would be a bubble, it's still very small to explode right now.
We do have time until all the BTC are found, so we have plenty of time actually))
The good news are, that there are no doubts in technology, that is already integrated in so may sectors. So nothing to afraid off really.

Late on the 8th Dec 2017 the price for BTC reached an height of $19,340 which is way up on your $17,000 and I witnessed this with my own eyes
and yet all the major charts seems to have doctored the peek down to high 17k range

What concerns me is inflation in the system because i found out that the public address given to my by Coinbase does not have any transactions against it
in the BTC block-chain so this could well result in Coinbase creating it own internal representation of BTC and putting them in to my on-line account so these fake
coins will result in inflation because the system will have a lot more than the current 16m coins flying around if this carries on.

I sent coin base an email about this but don't think they will reply and they also store ETH for me and never did give me a public address for the account
so maybe someone else here can set the record straight for me.

Yes I do believe it is way to small to be predicted like that.
They could always say it is bubble and actually they have since it grew like this and still nothing works.
It is just like FUD that is being spread without any proof that it is really a bubble.
They are just jealous of those who already profits from bitcoin by just holding it.

Bitcoin breaks all the forecasts. For me is not surprise that price goes up, we are awaiting some forks in future time, so the price stll didnt reach the limit. Im sure we are all going to see 20k$ or 22k$  before new year comes and just after that  BTC price will decrease.

Now the bitcoin is $16,700, going again to its original path. Ups and down may occur anytime as bitcoin couldn't be stucked at a fixed price like fiat.
We have to see volatilisation in the market and volatility is must for bitcoin's increase. When people see the price rising, they feel greedy and start investing.  As far as the volatility remains with bitcoin, this would be always one of the main factor to cause pump in market

Bitcoin will reach $ 50,000 in the near future, according to fundamental predictions that I believe.  ;D

The bitcoin price looks stabilized now so it will hang around between $16K and $17K for few more weeks.I think like this because the price of altcoins are increasing now especially LTC so more investors will attracted towards altcoin so bitcoin will be stabilized for a while.

Bitcoin price going to day by day increase.price already get up 17K,but did not break.i hope price will be increase 20K up in the next new year.i have holding my BTC.bcz price will be huge pump.so we are waiting for the next year and huge profitable. As soon as possible...

As expected, bitcoin price is doing its progress. By end of December I expect it to cross $18000 or or even $20000 mark. If bitcoin continues with such a pace than John McAfee`s prediction will come true earlier than expected.

Unstable markets pose many threats.
there will be some people who suffered losses because they are not careful doing every trade.
but I do not know if this price is indeed a bubble that will break,
or the price will continue moving up.
all only time will answer it

I do not think that bitcoin will face a problem till 20k USD psychological price resistance. I guess bitcoin will reach 19k-20k USD peak price. I bought back my btcs at 15k. .

that price is too much , these people that making prediction on the price of bitcoin  only wants  the price to hyped. And they have no proof that it will happen in the near future.

BTC bubble is far from exploding, if it will ever explode. In December it will continue to rise, $20000 will be behind with a blink of an eye. It will calm down at the beginning of 2018. Can't say for long-term period, but the curve will stabilise at one point in the future, we don't know why and when. Before coming there many events still lie ahead and those will keep increasing its value. Some of those are known events, some are still on the way.

I certainly don't want to end like poor John. All I said is straight from my guts, don't know nothing about markets and its fluctuations. I'm good at observing, though and I know all that is not just a hype.

But hey, bring here a top-notch economy analyst to enlighten me with his high-science. Because this is what they do those people, right - la cuisine ! I'm much better in cooking than most of those abracadabra illusionists.

I do hope that it will be and I think this is more possible than McAffee's prediction of $1M  ;D I have this feeling that its price will stay at $15-$17k for the meantime but I am hoping for a dump after the holiday season though so that we can hoard  ;D

It is very hard to speculate / predict price because crypto currency market has totally different dynamics that has no in any other market. Usually after such an increase we would expect retracement (come down) but as big whales are fighting now, it is even more difficult to analyze the situation.

Oh, and don't forget about this thread. Let's all come back and check the stats in January 2018 and then again in December 2018. That will be fun and lots of old comments quoted.

so they still treat it as a bubble without further analyzation and studying about its history and price structure, in the past where bitcoin is still 1 dollar each they said it is a scam don't you ever invest to that, after 8 years when the price is too expensive the word is changed bubble, from scam to bubble, well these people are the ones who did not take the risk and regret from not buying a lot of bitcoins in the past and now they're branding it with a tag of the bubble that spreads like a fud to make the price go down then that's the time of riding the roller coaster, sad to say the bitcoin is not responding to have a deep dumps for this past weeks with signs of getting more increase before the end of the year.

If it is possible that the price jump from 10k$ to 17k$ in just a week then nothing is impossible,it can go 10k$ up by the end of the year or it may crash under 10k$.As the price becomes bigger price changes are the more expressive,what is before few hundred $,today is thousands $ up or down.

I think we are now seriously testing 17k$ and next psychological level will be at 20k$.Probably on the way to 20k$ we can expect new correction and quick recovery again.I think the only question is when will the whales reach out for profit and dump some BTC on exchanges.

I am foreseeing bitcoin at price 20000 at the end of this year or probably next week. It is possible because as stated in the OP that with just days btc moved from 10k to 17k. And wow, that's great talk.

My opinion is that bitcoin is now preparing for the next price increase. All altcoins grew up. This means that now bitcoin will also go up. We are waiting for a wonderful Christmas. Bitcoin price will be at least $ 20,000 by year-end. We just have to make a pause and observe this action. I bought bitcoin when the price dropped to $ 13,500. Now I wait for profit and earn income from the growth of eth.

According to everything that is currently happening around bitcoin futures trading, I think the price will continue to go up. And then, Merry Christmas to me!

Crashing to the 10k is just a assumption this will not happen because huge no of people are holding their coins for the higher values of profit and they will not sell at this time because majority of people bought bitcoin in recent pump and all they want to sell the coin higher at 20k and they will not let go values down and there is a bright chance of rise in value and maybe in two to three days bitcoin will be at 19k or more,

Accurately it is very difficult to predict bitcoin price but based on the experience the price may be predicted approximately. Now the price is increasing mode and most probably the price will touch 20k$ by the end of this week and then it will stay on 20k$ for a day or two and after this it will gain rise again and by the end of this year bitcoin’s price would cross the figure 25k$ because people are keenly taking interest in bitcoin business. 2017 would be count a remarkable year for bitcoin in the history but may be 2018 defeat 2017 in future.
