Would you agree and accept the help of robots in the society?
How about in the future a member of your family would be a robot?
We are coming to an age that the help of these machines/creations an advantage to us. What do you think?

Robots in society will surely appear. Maybe quite soon. This process can not be stopped. Robot as a family member. For me, ok. And besides, robots help, for example in factories.

Robots are needed to do annoying and dirty job like cleaning, serving, driving...etc...These jobs simply annihilating human brain's potential. But the problem is still: what about people, replaced by robots. Where they will gain money??

Robots help us automate tedious process. That is why companies can mass produce products. I don't think a family member can ever be replaced by a robot.

Robots also today help some humans to relieve their stress through providing sex.

According to me, Having a family member who is a robot would be an amazing thing that I would encounter . If I had a change, I would definitely accept the help of robots for my daily errands . It is quite obvious that humanity needs more robot in this tiger economy world.

They will perform dirty work and facilitate our lives. Already now, robots cleaner have become available, there are also robots that help disabled people to talk, hear and see. So, it's a huge progress

It is never wrong to ask for help especially if it is too hard for you. What's wrong is, when someone once offered help and you take advantage of them being nice.

yes this is very inevitable as the development artificial intelligence is very rapid as of now, I think as a pet or for helping us in daily task I think it is suitable for robots but putting some kind of feelings would not be normal for me.

I would agree since robots can do some hard task where us humans do struggles like lifting heavy objects, computing at a faster rate, etc. In short they can act as our support on our daily living. Robots would be a big help in our society that is why some companies are pursuing to build different kinds of  robots and strengthen some of it's abilities because they knew we can benefit a lot from them.

I think that Robots will definitely exist in the future. A Robot being a part of the family will not be possible but when a robot become attached to its master, it will be treated as a family.Mayne what you were saying is that a family has robots parts on him/her, it can be possible and he/she will not be treated differently. I agree with robots being part of our everyday lives.They will make our life easier and more efficient.Robots can be a good companion too, they are are blunt,informative and wise. 

I agree during robot power only running some hard work to do manually by human power, while the work still needs to be done manually better using human power.There are several advantages of  using robot power,for example like a faster production process but there also shortcomings,which is a lot of production costs.The company of course  still need human power because the cost of production is smaller than using a very expensive robot power.

Yes because in our society the world are sorroundings of technology so that the robot are easy to do everything and obeyed fast to do a job.

Robots will emancipate human kind from labour which today leaves people unsatisfied and their health at risk. It is also just as likely that robots will become masters of art and music too. For this reason I think it's pretty clear that we will eventually have a choice. Either stay as simply human and be left behind by super intelligent robots (not necessarily killed, just ignored).

We will in some way combine ourselves with robots, either by inserting a computer into our brain and attaching ourselves to the internet, or by uploading our consciousness into a robot.
In those two cases I'm not really sure that we will have changed from human beings, as we will still be the same people. But I might agree that my family member is a robot, at least in part.

Robots are good for society, however people have to make them controllable, otherwise Terminator movie can turn into reality.

Help from robot technology is a sign of progress. The age of the more sophisticated, robots are made to help humans in performing daily activities. But humans still need to move for health and body fitness, so do not make excessive, do not all work done by robot until humans do not do anything. Do not let people experience things like in the movie Wall E (you must know what I mean).

Robots and Androids is a truly interesting topic. I vote for the positive development in this sphere, hoping that it won't turn into anything remotely resembling Terminator

It's a must for the modern society, I think. With time it will possible to improve different things via AI.

robots are inventions that make daily life easier. I support technological developments about robots. It is also a good idea to live with a robot in the future. for example, I might prefer a robot as my wife.  :P

In fact, this topic is very relevant today. Technologies are developing faster every year. However, in this issue there are not only "for" but also "against". Of course, it is very good to ease the work of people, especially hard work.
But here we are faced with another problem! In many countries, the replacement of labor in robotics has led to massive unemployment. This made the gap between rich and poor even more.
It turns out that the development of robotics will only benefit in case of proper use by a person. In general, as always everything will depend on the person.

This is my opinion too. But I also think "if mankind invented nuclear bomb and invested in drones to fight in wars, why not create robots which want to exterminate humans?"

In my opinion, robots are good inventions but I think their usefulness should be limited to industrial usage and other heavy duties which can be difficult for man and not using them to replace man totally in our society

I just hope they do not end up displacing  or making  obsolete humans because I think there is that risk,on the other hand I think that in certain tasks could be very useful.

I think this is great, Robot can instead of worker who do labor pains. I hope myself will own a robot that can help me work housework

Social development, modern technology and technology. Mechanical work is gradually replacing manual labor. So a robot is essential to human daily life. A robot can replace a human in heavy work. Place toxic environments where people can not. So, in my opinion, robots are essential to human beings.

I think because now, robots have been used as machines that have high automation, has a very important role for humans to use in work that is considered very important. Therefore, many companies create and use robots in everything. some robots are created with various specifications based on need. These needs may include household, industry, military, agriculture, marine and others

It's going to happen in the not too distant future. I mean just look what that Atlas robot can do it can walk around, pick stuff up, do simple tasks/jobs, get up when it falls, and it can even now do backflips  :o

as many already said before i think that robots will contribute to a lot of help to the society. but for people to see robots as there 'family' there is need a lot more then just high affinity and being able to work hard. those robots as well as ampetie and shere our valjues. and i think the robots have a long way to go to get on such a level. Yes I will accept the help of robot. If we accept the help of computer to enable make typing faster than old typesetter then I don't see why shouldn't I accept the robots in the society.

I think that the androids really can help us,the artificial intelligence is awesome.They cannot substitute the humans but could be a good hand.

well as the modern technology advances rapidly having robots in the society is likely to happen soon and I don't mind accepting thrm because they wouldbe a great help to us. It is also not bad to have a robot as a member of the family, i would gladly accept them.

Robots would play a very pivotal role in our society. It has already started playing very important in medicine, engineering, space exploration etc.

I do not mind robots. But as a member of my family, I will never consider them. Let them just work at some factories, in companies, and so on, but no more. I don't want if most of the society been robots.

The process by which tasks normally performed by humans are replaced with machines of some kind. These machines could be mechanical or electronic.
Do not call it an ATM machine – that's redundant. Robot arms in car factories and Etc.

With the rise of AIs it will inevitable in future that humans will have to interacct with antropomorphic robots more and more. There are thousands of good science fiction books of the past 70 years which can give you examples of how it will eventually be.

It won't happen. Mental capacity won't be the same as a human's. What benefit is it really going to provide? Have it as a sort of pet that reacts to pre programmed cues?

Robots can't replace human interaction. They already have toys that are robots that follow you around and obey your commands. They also listen to what you say and who knows who is on the receiving end of that hearing your personal business. Scary stuff!

Right now all modern technology is designed to bring the world to you; phone, radio, television, internet, but if trends continue, robots will soon bring you to the world, everywhere, and at the speed of thought. A mind and a hand where it's needed while you sit safely at home and run the show.

First I would like want to say that robots one day may habe there own minds but wish that it will not happen. It happend in movies and now robots are being used like the small machine to deliver foods. We can't say that someday robots will rise someday wait for it but hoping that it will not happen. Robots decreases the huamn efforts by doing what they are instructed or for what they are meant to be.In future the tasks will surely be done by the robots.Robots may be boon or curse to humans if they are properly instructed then it will be fine and if any misbehave is done then may lead to ill effects.

From a kitchen robot to a variety of household appliances, many robots make life easier. ın Tv series called Black Mirror a company were creating a robot instead of a dying husband. All the features of robot were the same from the exterior to the character. but the woman eventually left her robot husband.  :)

Excellent robots are also applicable in everyday life. The most famous of them - a robot vacuum cleaner and lawn mower. Also, you can meet robots specially designed to perform more complex household tasks.

I don't think we have a lot of choice in this department simply because machines have been of a great help to us since times immemorial. Though I don't really think that it is about a robot becoming a family member. You seem to have watched too much of Humans, the recent TV series, and taken it too serious.

I believe that robots are the best that people came up with. I already want to see sooner the time when across the planet there will be a lot of robots that will simplify our life.

The development of technology is good. It can fix some really important issues. But honestly I am slightly scared about the humanlike robots... Maybe I've seen too many films

I'm totally for introducing robots in all spheres of our life because of the following reasons:
1) Once they're programmed, it means that they perform tasks with more precision than humans
2) They are able to work in any environmental conditions whether it be underwater or space
3) Robots can be used for unwanted work that humans deny to perform

And I won't be against if my family member will be a robot. Instead, it means that with the help of this robot I won't do any boring stuff such as cleaning, vacuuming, etc.

The future i can is that Humans are going to be fitted with cybernetics especially those who have been injured and there was no way that their missing parts would be able to be replaced. Am not really thrilled about Robots or computers being sentient at all, It could prove to be very disastrous for Humanity as a whole.

I think robots will become the new slaves for a while, at least until the singularity happens. The machines are gettting more and more sophisticated these days.
   Have you seen the robots at Boston Dynamics? They have a youtube channel which shows a few teasers of the tech their working on, quite out of this world!
