I agree with this, i know that there was a formula to calculate all this thing, but i do not remember how it was done and i am too lazy to search it, because it was on the forum, posted a few months ago.


$25,000 is a low number for when the market hits 1 trillion dollars, it will probably be almost the double of the actual price.

$16,500 x 2 = more than $32,000, the price will probably be around those numbers.

And ripple $3? You are crazy man, it will be probably be around one dollar and a half, no more.

if market cap reach 1 trillion dollars which mean the price should be double from now on.
because right now we're reaching $500 billion dollars and current our price around $16.000,
so approximately we should see it for more than $30.000 or around that point.
when will it happen ?
i do not know and i believe it will not happen in a few months later because we need to take some correction before making this kind of movement again.
but everything can be happen with it,as long as it goes higher i believe many people will happy with it.
and me too will happy for it.
because we need to consider our current total supply and its price at the same time.
well that is the requirement to reach that point and it's very unlikely to happen in a few months later.
at least it need a year or two years to accomplish it logically.

That magic formula you can't remember is (price of coins) x (number of coins in circulation) = market cap price.



Redo the math cause you're failing terribly.

At a 49% domination , and 1 trillion market cap BTC would have a market cap of 490 billions.
With 25 000 price per BTC it would mean 19, 6 mined coins ....and we only have 16,7 mined.

So there is no way what you say it's going to become reality.

The market cap won`t hit 1 trillion dollars at February 2018.This is pretty optimistic.
I guess that it might reach 1 trillion during the summer,if everything is OK with the markets (no bubbles,no panic) and there are no cryptocurrency bans in the big countries.The BTC dominance will decrease for sure,cryptocurrencies like ethereum or ripple will be pumped a lot during the next year.
I don`t care about the exact bitcoin price,i just want mass bitcoin adoption,which will make the price more stable and make the speculative investors run away.

If speculators leave the bitcoin, they can trigger a collapse in prices and panic. They don't disturb me. I do not trade on the stock exchange so their pumps and dumps I don't care. On the other hand when speculators include the pump they create a beautiful picture and attract new users who like the price increase.

Will not happen

Current marketcap is half of $1 trillion so if bitcoin dominance will remain same than price per bitcoin would be at Current price ($17000) x 2 = $34000 or anywhere near it because supply might also increase slightly by that time.

Same calculation can be used for other alts that you have mentioned, just multiply their current price by 2.

ah this is quite imposible but who knows out there many people who interest in bitcoins will gain more than 2 times or even triple?

Too soon to even say that. For a week now we haven't touched sub-$15k and the support levels are sitting pretty at $14k ready to up the sell orders if shit hits the fan. There are still numerous events that could possibly generate positive hype which in turn would create FOMO and crazy price jumps. You're kinda underestimating bitcoin's shock potential. 2017 has been a shock for everyone, and $1-T market cap isn't far from being breached either.

I think bitcoin dominance will fall again, probably down to about 40-50% which would give it a price in the region of 20-25k. In time I see bitcoin dominance falling down to 10% or so but that's a long way off. I think bitcoin cash will be at a similar price with ETH at 1500-2000, LTC $500 and XRP $1.

It's quite an oversimplification to simply say that the prices will have doubled. Take for example that market cap has grown about 20% the last days but bitcoin does not account for much of that. Some coins can grow far more than others.

It depends a lot, but one trillion dollars from the total marketcap is not so far away from us right now.The actual marketcap is over $550 billion dollars right now, much more than when you wrote this thread, and it was just a few days ago. it is going up so fast, no one can believe it.

The correct thing about result, the price of bitcoin should be doubled. And remember the ethereum and another crypto must follow the bitcoin. If that will be around 25k and that will not reach 1 trillion dollar market capitalization. it will be around 36k to get the near decimal for the price of bitcoin to make the market capitalization worth almost 1 trillions.

looool dude asking what bitcoin price will be if the market cap reaches $1 trillion is like asking what bitcoin price will be if bitcoin price triples. There's no guessing involved. Market cap and price have a direct correlation. The only thing that would change this in bitcoin's case is if it doesn't happen until a lot more bitcoins have been mined, but that's not going to make a significant difference at this point.

It can be something in the range between 25.000 and 40.000, unless of course some new currency skyrockets to be the next big thing. Maybe some fee-less, fast, energy saver currency, but at this regime such a market cap is probable to occour soon as many as it's probable for the situation to stay the same.

Lmao you don't know who is proudhon right? he is the biggest FUD trainwreck ever. Has been saying Bitcoin wouldn't go over $10 or something like that. He became a bear legend since the early days. He has been announcing the doom of Bitcoin ever since. If you think kwukduck is a big bear troll, proudhon is an act of insanity or just comedy. The biggest boat misser I've seen on this forum, assuming he really sold under $10 dollars and has been hoping for it to crash under it's sell price.

Some of the Bitcoins that have been dumped are missing and are not being used. We need to consider this situation. When 21 million bitcoins are excavated, the amount of Bitcoin in the market will be less than 20 million due to the missing Bitcoins.

you talk about bitcoin  market cap or all crypocurrecny because if you talk about bitcoin only  market cap effect directly in price and 1T is more than 30,000$ bitcoin price

Many small (relatively small) groups of people, or companies try hard to develope some ideas, some platforms, some new coins, with new features, new solutions etc.. I`m really excited about 2018 and those "smaller" ones to have a some important roles or not.

Well, aside from these: my guesses, as you have already realized for sure, were rough guesses.. without any "good-math" (normal, regular math ;) involved indeed.. just "guesses".. and I`m in fact very excited about these, all, and follow the prices, market cap, where comes goes to etc etc daily, like crazy and like to guess like this: in a way in my style crazy. The whole thing I mean.

I`m living in a time that banks give 1% for 1 full year if you keep your hard cold cash money, fiat money I mean there, without touching, by promising them, at least 1 full year for waiting for your money to grow +1%
in that time of course I get (you get, he she gets, even the bank workers, bus driver I see in the morning, my mom, everybody on this planet, if it`s oval, round, flat or whatever, without any difference, religion, race, rich or poor, everybody gets +1 years, OLDER and for that, banks pay, gives, offers +1%

One transfer sometimes takes 3-4 days. They are not working on Saturdays, evenings, Sundays, when there is some holy holiday (think about you`re an atheist and think about the majority of the country is celebrating some man`s coming from skies and doing this or that, giving choclate etc I don`t know and because of that banks are not working for 3 whole days, for example) (I like chocolate)

They ask you how and when did you find that money, or if you transfer some bigger money, not hundred thousands I mean, just maybe your salaries 3x, in one time, they may ask you, where did you get that money. They can stop your activities. They can block your account.

On the other hand, there is this crypto currency things and not only bitcoin, but also there are many other technologies evolving here.

When the market cap grows, it means fiat money comes in to this.

It means, usd, euro, whatever "they" own, comes into this.

It means, the change.

When it hits 1 TB, I hope it hits very hard, like a big giant punch and then another and then one more.

Wow. I did not expected the same guesses as mine with exception of BTC dominance: that will be around 42% in that case. Multiply $25000 to around 16,800,000  coins to be mined (for Feb 2018) and you will get 42% of 1,000,000,000,000 cap. Why 49%?

On alts:
BTC Cash: 3000 USD +-500
ETH: 1400 USD +-200
LTC: 380 USD +- 100
XRP: 1.25 USD +- 0.25

And for everybody doubting it is even possible: there are only 3 days passed and overall market cap is increased by $100B

somebody on CNBC said total assets monex in exchanges except crypto is around 200TB

so if only 1% of that money comes into crpyto market, it`s 2TB

from now, let`s say it will be in that case, for example more or less 2,5 TB

and that would make 1 BTC around 100K

Yeah I think the same, if the mined coins remain same then for 1 trillion market cap they price need to be over $50k easily. Still I think it's too soon to think about it.
