Why do you think people have suicidal thoughts? Is it reasonable to result to potentially killing oneself to be able to remove the pain a person is suffering from? What are your thoughts about this matter, is it acceptable or not? Why does a person result to thinking of suicide? How can you help the person to change His/Her mind?

So much depression can lead someone to commit suicide. Or the feeling that they have no one to talk to about their problems, they are losing hope. They are so much in pain and they dont want to feel that pain anymore and with that they didnt give life a chance.;

Suicidal ideation is a feeling people may have when they are no longer able to cope with an overwhelming situation, which could be financial, the death of somebody they love, breaking up, or a devastating/debilitating illness.
There may be a feeling of bleakness and an erroneous assumption that taking their own life might be the answer. If the individual's mental state is heightened enough, suicide may seem to be the only exit.
The most common situations or life events that might cause suicidal thoughts are grief, sexual abuse, financial problems, remorse, rejection, relationship breakup and unemployment.

Depression is the only thing that I could think of,
I mean there are lots of things that could trigger it and the most common problem that cause's it is Sexual abuse,Financial problem and Relationship break ups.

People begin to feel that they are at a dead end, they do not see the future, and from the deadlock there is only one way out - upstairs. Try to look for what you can carry on in this world, and if you do not find it, then look for a way up - now this way is open to those who are looking for the meaning of life. Interesting areas are the sex and age ranges increase risk, as well as location.  Also the way someone intends to act is an indicator, between peaceful methods and violent actions.  This can point to how desperate someone is.  What I can say is don't be afraid to talk to someone as being lonely and isolated are bigger factors, and depression can blow all feelings out of proportion.  Making small incidents feel way worse than they really are.  Please try and convince them to ask for help from a helpline or health professional.

For me depression is the major cause of suicidal thoughts and depression is common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, so we should urdergo with taking up ourself, advice  the people that should take time to relax and no worry so much.

I think the main cause of suicidal thoughts is depression like burdens,problem with money,family,and love ones..Too much depression can lead some people to suicideand i know someone who commit suiside because he lost his girlfriend,i talked to him and give him some advise but it does'nt work at all maybe because he cant already cope up the problem and feels like nothing can love him.

A few of my friends have committed over the past 6-7 years. And none of them had similar reasons for doing that. The most tragic case was that of a male friend in his mid 20s, who committed suicide after testing positive for HIV. Another one did that after failing to make the loan repayments on time. And one of my female friends committed suicide after her boyfriend dumped her.

Depression and pressure from family. Based on what I have seen on my sister, when everything about her life went wrong and she doesn't  have someone to lean on, suicidal thoughts came into her mind. She thought that everything will be better if she ended her life.my sister was the most god fearinf in our family but sometimes faith in God is not enough. Good thing we have neighbors who noticed the noise inside our house and called my father to check on her. She was saved and we are hoping that she won't do it again.

It depends of the age of the person, but for me half of the gilty have their parents, because your child had serious problema and you said nothing.

I sometimes feel really depressed and think of running away in the woods, if not killing myself, because I realise that I actually doing much more than I actually can, even phisically - I've got 2 small kids and no help for last 3 years, for some personal reasons. But its just a lack of energy and personal space, I guess.  :-[

Anxiety and depression and also being treated as if you were just joking that you have this ailment. He/she need help or someone to talk to in order to lessen the burden in their heart and mind. It is simple, when the person have no one to rely on or the person is thoroughly pained by its experienced. And most of all the file of problems usually came from family or luck of income.

People can get suicidal thoughts because of various reasons. It could be medical, psychological, circumstantial or even spiritual. Whatever the case, i do not advocate suicide as a solution. Talking to a trained counsellor will at least help to identify the source of the issue and perhaps help can be rendered.

People who always think of negative thoughts and suffering from depression and anxiety are the ones who have the tendency to attempt suicide. They think that through suicidal, they can escape from they're trials and difficulties in life. People who suffers hard and has a big problem tends to kill themselves just because they are hopeless about life.

Most of people think of suicide because of problems, depression, and other negativity.  I dont think it's reasonable, but people in depression or just people who has big problems, I dont think they think "reasonably" and that's how they come up of suicide. It's not acceptable, you will just be wasting your life, there are people out there who struggles and strive to live, but didn't killed themselves.  As to why people think of suicide, well, what you said is one of them that's giving people suicidal thoughts. like "Maybe I should just kill myself to end all suffering".

Well I think that what causes people to attempt suicide are negative and being too weak to face trials.Depression and anxiety might bring us closer to negative vibes that pushes us to have the idea of escaping the world. Well, I believe that a person should always think of happy thoughts to avoid suicidal attempt. Being a pro active and being optimistic is the key.

State of mind and a messed up. Someone who thought of suicide because he felt despair in his life, he feels that there is no point if he continues to live. He could not face the problem on himself and he had no belief that he is desperate. And most importantly he does not believe in God who gives way and a prize behind the trials of his life.

Suicidal is something that's hard to oppose. It's the result of negative emotions. Stress, pressure, sadness, broken and hopeless.
It's necessary to lend a helping hand to a person. Make them feel that they're important, they're valuable.
Some suicidal attempts mostly came from being broken-hearted. Emotions are said to be the most fragile part of a person. It's the hardest way to be fixed, after all.
Also, some say that it's part of life. Other people are helpless, like being born poor, no family, being abandoned and everything unlucky events you can think of. All of us are having this thought of committing suicide, it's just that, some of us are strong enough to just ignore it, or fight it.

Those who feel depressed though having some free time, I would recomend to change the place where they live or/and their occupation - we often live the way we shouldn't, fore some people its a good desicion to leave the big city and move to some distant village in the mountains somewhere in cheap and sunny Spain, and write books or paint or just grow apples or whatever. Some i know commit suicide when they commit a very shameful act and they cannot face the shame so they choose to die. 

It is because they are lacking of positive approach in life. Positive approach is very important, let positivity over our mind. If negative approach over us, all the negatives, undesirable thinkings, wrong doings and sins will attack us. Positive approach will also gives us peace in life, happy life and good vibes. What causes suicidal thoughts, it is the fact that we feel alone, we are no longer important with others, we feel that the world will keep spinning even though we are gone. Depression, loneliness, these are the common terms used to answer the question but I would like to explain it further and give a simple solution to avoid it. As a social being, sense of belongingness is one of our primal needs. We may admit it or not but most of our human act we seek to be appreciated, to reciprocate the effort we exert. We exist to be with others, to be happy. In philosophical point of view the greatest purpose we can achieve while we are here is to be happy regardless of our social status, financial capability, mental capacity, etc. .There are three simple guide to live and avoid suicidal thoughts. 1. We should have something to do. Example of this is we have a job, we maximize our potential, we put into action our passion and we make out time valuable not only for ourselves but for others. 2. We should have someplace to live. It is one of our basic needs. 3. We should have someone to love. Of course all our time in work, the house that we built it is meant to be share with another soul. When we are happy everything seems fine, we may not be contended which is human nature but at least there is a person who are looking after us and give us reason to live.

It is never that person's fault in the beginning. It is just their mental state talking. I have Bipolar Disorder and I experience several suicide attempts and even hurting myself just to be calm from my panic attacks. It's very hard to suppress because there's a time when I'm feeling so happy without a care and then right after depression comes to the point that I don't want to live anymore.

Some people commit suicide.  But we can prevent them by the way of talking to our love ones who struggle their problems.  Because the first aide of depression is talking to someone who can help our problem.

Deppression is the one cause of suicide. Suicide is not the answer. If you see your friend having deppression. Try to talk to him try to help him about his problem. Deppression is not a joke it is a big problem in our society.

When a person is on the process of changing to be a better or bitter person they have to experience a seldom things to happen in their life situation. They fill sometimes guilty on things that they think they are not worthy. Sometimes they experience hard feeling like excluded in the group. Not feeling accepted by people around them. This is a hard situation because you are in the middle of life and death in what will be your decision. Suicidal thoughts are losing the hope to win the battle. Maybe the person who experience this are in need of someone to rely and talk about a positive things to regain strength and hope to move forward once again.

It can be inferred, from all the causes of the suicidal thoughts you mentioned, that the cause of suicidal thoughts arises from depression, deep depression which is self-contained. Depression, unhappy, was tired of all the problems they had, and eventually decided to commit suicide so that all the problems would not be felt again.

Sometimes a person is living with a nagging and unbearable pain. I completely understand them. I've lived through situations where I thought, I could easily see someone ending it all just to stop it.

I think if a person is really messed up they start having suicidal thoughts. My cousin once committed suicide, however, he was saved. I asked him why, and he answered that he thought that his life was meaningless because his family seemed that they doesn't care for him, his girlfriend left him, and he thinks that he doesn't have a good future ahead of him.

I didn't experience being so depressed that would be eventually suicidal. Some people used medicine in order to calm themselves and other are using illegal drugs to ease the pain they felt. But I think the number one cause of it is the poor perception of those people about their situation, environment or society. Some turned into a madman

Based on my experience and observations, suicidal thoughts are contributed by many factors and might be attributed to different case scenarios. Let me share some common examples. First example is; when a person is being bullied in school or at work or in whatever environment he is in, if that person has a low self esteem and doesn't have any support from family, friends or if the society in general doesn't care, that person might resort in committing suicide. Even in social media, there are cases when a person has done something wrong that is captured in a video and goes viral, that person will be persecuted by the people in the social media and will be bullied and trolled, this might result to depression and suicidal thoughts. My second example will be during break-ups or permanent separation from your beloved one. I do believe that many people suffer from this and might go into depression unknowingly and might have suicidal thoughts. Based on my 2 examples we can have a partial conclusion that suicidal thoughts are brought about by negative experiences in life. This maybe from natural causes such as death or from environmental factors like from the first example. Bottom line is this is a reality and more often than not we do neglect the effect of our actions towards other people. I think its best to practice principles like Think before you act and don't do to other's what you don't want others do unto you. Lets be sensitive and show our care for people specially to those whom we Love or are dear to us. There are also several outlets where one can seek help if we are depressed. If you feel like committing suicide, be honest with yourself and try to open up to a friend or a family member. Again, let's be sensitive. If you think someone has done something wrong, before you throw your stone, ask yourself first if you have not sinned as Jesus asked the people when they want to throw stones to Mary Magdalene. When i tried to commit suicide i was devastated. Grief from my dad's death. Emotional stress, financial problem, family problem, relationship breakup and other stuff. I think negative and put negative action upon it.

The major cause of suicide thought is depression. When things are not going as expected most times tend to make one get frustrated which could eventually lead to depression and he/she start thinking the best option is to commit suicide.     

For me it is acceptable. If someone couldn't endure the pain anymore and badly wants to end it, who are we to stop. Yes God let us barrow the life he's been treasuring but we could be careless most of the time. We commit mistakes that leads to judgement then depression. Ending your own life means ending the pain and everything and leaving the past behind. it's not being coward for running aways, it's being brave to face heavens and be free.

We cannot blame them for thinking about ending their life. Those people who are in the stage of killing themselves are suffering with a great depression. Depression is very difficult to handle. I know many will say, "It is just mind over matter". But that is not as easy as we think. I understand how they feel. But my advice to them is just pray to God. God will never give you challenges in life that you can't handle.

Bullying has been one of the common cause of suicide nowadays ans mostly its among school children who are being bullied in school. Depression is one of the common cause of suicides where the feels unloved and so lonely that the best option for them is to just end it and be seemingly free from all their problems.

Usually suicides happen because of a momentary feeling of a wall. It seems like you are stuck in a prison cell in a solitary confinement! The problem is when the thoughts breed action ans the person does actually want to to off themselves. I mean the acceptable suicide for me is euthanasia and that has to have alot of thinking and delibirstion involved. I have a friend that once wanted to commit suicide. I was very scared because for the first time I came across a situation like this. No matter what may be the reasons, it is best if thoughts are shared and  discussed, by so doing many occurrence of suicide witness will have been averted.

I think because of weak faith. . and no one shares the problem of finding a solution that causes suicide. in order to avoid suicide often worship. always with positive people and positive thinking

When a person is on the process of changing to be a better or bitter person they have to experience a seldom things to happen in their life situation. They fill sometimes guilty on things that they think they are not worthy. Sometimes they experience hard feeling like excluded in the group. Not feeling accepted by people around them. This is a hard situation because you are in the middle of life and death in what will be your decision. Suicidal thoughts are losing the hope to win the battle. Maybe the person who experience this are in need of someone to rely and talk about a positive things to regain strength and hope to move forward once again.

there are some people who are short-minded and end up killing themselves, because they have things that do not resolve their affairs, such as chaos in the household, breaking up with a boyfriend who is very loved.

I don't think faith has anything to do with suicide. You sound like a religious person. If somebody from your church commits suicide, is that your first reaction? You think that person must not have had enough faith? When people commit suicide they usually aren't thinking in their right mind. I think it's even an insult to faithful people to blame them of not believing enough after they are dead. Each person should just worry about their own faith.
