I would buy GTX 1080TI if i had enough money for a rig its easier to downclock or overclock and its more stable and works almost 3 times better than rx 580 for more profitable algos like equihash, nist5 and bitcore.

I have all 1080 TI's so I'm biased - guess what my vote is :)

New expansion will be 1070 TI's though

I sold almost all my Armor MSI cards, I still have a few left and I don't like them. They use 2 8 Pins, not an 8+6, and yes, they run hot and come factory overclocked which I don't like

go with 1080ti three fan cooler gpu
they run in good temps and they support heavy overclocking too
one 1080ti can easily do 4 to 6usd a day

It depends upon which coin u want to mine...
Or if u r looking for most profitable coin to mine according to this 2 cards chack whattomine.com for best calculation

If u are going for per day profit on multi algorithm mining like nicehash
Then 1080ti is the best....

You really need to do some research and check your electric bill....
Mostly the 1070 is best. Get Inno3D or Gigabyte G1.

in terms of choice it's better to put it this way : GTX 1080ti or GTX1070TI
usually difference in performance is about 25-30% for these cards and same price difference - like $760 / $560
so for me the best choice is GTX1080ti only, cause it saves power, slots and best performance

Do all the 1080ti have the two 8 pin power slots am really pulled between the RX580 for cost but would like the power of the 1080ti I only have the funds for the Armor 1080ti if there won’t bad reviews I would of got the Armor as the other ones are to much

Inno3d isn't available where I'm at, no opinion.

Gigabyte G1 cards use cheap sleeve bearing fans that DIE way too young, I refuse to buy anything Gigabyte other than Aorus line cards for that reason.

Go for MSI GeForce GTX 1080Ti. It will earn you much more money.
But 580 is mot bad also and with that price you can buy twice more than nVidia.
Keep in mind that nVidia can min much more different coins.

Have you considered the GTX 1070? It is one of the top cards for mining efficiency. The 1080TI uses like double the power that the 1070 does and costs a lot more. I don't have unlimited power so I have to try and make the most efficient use of it that I can.

Sick card, good luck on the mining journey!

I was told the GTX 1080 GAMING (not TI) is actually more profitable due to power consumption but hadn't made the math
